My father was a patient of Dr. Singer's for many years. As he got older, Dr. Singer stopped listening to him and disregarded his health care as unimportant. I urged my dad to seek care elsewhere, but he did not want to change doctors. When my father passed away, I called Dr. Singer to let him know of his passing. Considering he had known my dad for a great number of years I felt certain he would like to know and take a brief moment out of his busy schedule to acknowledge the death of his patient. I was WRONG!!! No return call, email or acknowledgement came from Dr. Singer. I guess in the end, I was not surprised but I was hurt and disappointed. To take care of someone for so many years and not even acknowledge to the patient's family that you are sorry to hear the news or extend any token of sympathy is just a disgrace!!! However, if you like sarcastic humor during your office visits and don't mind a doctor who isn't listening to you, I guess you are going to see the right physician.

Singer have always been excellent

Listens to you and doesnt try to mask symptoms of disease process, but treats the actual process. Very matter of fact and truthful.

Explains things well in lay language. Respectful of patient's level of understanding. Good sense of humor. Follows up to ensure good outcomes long-term. One example of Dr. Singer's care: I developed painful swelling in right arm. To ensure proper diagnosis and treatment, he arranged for three doctors to see me. One ruled out any conditions in his specialty. The other two worked together (an internist and a surgeon) to properly diagnose venous thoracic outlet syndrome (a rare condition), compounded with a blood clotting factor that makes my blood clot more easily than most people's (another rather rare condition), and treat it both surgically and medically, working as a sort of 'yin-and-yang' tag team. Dr. Singer ensured I received the best possible treatment. My arm is completely normal today because of his expertise and complete lack of reluctance to quickly bring in other physicians to build upon his expertise. I couldn't ask for a better primary care physician. I no longer see Dr. Singer only because I moved out of the region.
