Dr. Gregory Michael Mcpeak

After experiencing bad back pain around the holidays I decided to try a chiropractor. A friend of mine gave Dr. McPeak rave reviews and after a few treatments I have to agree! He explains in detail what is causing the problems. The treatments are working wonderfully.

I’ve had back and neck issues for over 20 years but only recently started going to chiropractors to find a solution to the chronic pain. Dr. McPeak is the first chiropractor who conducted a full consultation including x-rays. When he showed me the x-rays, my immediate thought was “Wow. My neck is messed up!!! I’m about to be Quasimodo in ten years!!!” Dr. McPeak went through each film and explained why I was feeling so much pain, the treatment plan, and the exercises I need to do daily to reset my neck and back to normal. When I twist my back to stretch, I’ve always felt a tightness and what I call “crunchies”… I can feel them and hear them move but never pop. Since my treatments with Dr. McPeak, they have become looser, and I have greater range of motion. He has also helped increase my ability to turn my neck and lower the constant pain in my upper shoulders. Dr. McPeak is highly recommended!!!

Having suffered from various and random headaches (forehead, neck, behind ear, across top of jaw, top of head) for 1.5 years, taking OTC medicine daily / nightly and having had various doctor appointments, including a Neurologist, an MRI and Pain Management nerve block injections, I found myself at McPeak Family Chiropractics in early February 2022. With a base X-ray, Doctor McPeak began the adjustments required on my back/ neck, and a month or so later, the headaches all but disappeared. I still go for weekly adjustments, with very few headaches not nearly as severe as they were. I'm so thankful for the relief Doctor McPeak has been able to provide through his chiropractic skills. Dr. McPeak really helped with my back and shoulder. He explains what he is doing thoroughly. When I ask him a question, he doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable. When I had to cancel because of an illness, he called a few days later to ask me how I was feeling. I would highly recommend him.

My family has been going to Dr. McPeak for about 9 years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Mcpeak is a very knowledgeable and methodical doctor. I was having problems with vertigo from a concussion, and he was able to come up with a treatment of adjustments and exercises that stopped the vertigo. Also, when my kids go for their regular adjustments, I find it helps their overall health. They don't get colds as much, and when they do get a cold they get over it quicker. I just started going to Dr. McPeak in July 2020 due to back/sciatic pain. He was really great from the start. He asked me so many questions to get to the root of my problem. He took the time to explain everything from the x-rays he took to how chiropractic care works. He gave me stretches and things to do at home to help combat my scoliosis. I’ve been going to my primary for back pain for the last three years. I’ve been given pills, patches, and ice and heat therapies but that only seemed to mask the pain. When the pain kept coming back I decided to try something new. Upon finding Dr. McPeak I explained my medical history. I struggled to stand up straight and walk and after Dr. McPeak’s help we’ve been getting to the root of the back pain issues. He really knows his stuff. Dr. McPeak is the best because he takes the time to figure out an individual plan for each of his patients. He will take an x-ray of your spine to pinpoint the root of the problem and adjusts over time according to your progress. He really listens and cares about his patients and wants them to get to a point where they no longer need frequent adjustments. He also recommends certain exercises or stretches fit for your personal needs. I've struggled with scoliosis and general back pain for years because I didn't think adjustments worked for me. Going to other chiropractors in the past, they would "crack" my neck/back which felt good in the moment but I would always go back to feeling stiff the next day. I was never educated on the importance of sticking to consistent treatment so it began the cycle of seeing a doctor once every couple years. Dr. McPeak is so informative and educational. He really helped me understand where my back pain was stemming from and created a treatment program specific to me. I can honestly feel myself improving. I have been going to Dr. McPeak for about 8 years and he is the best. I do get weekly adjustments that are great and keep me going. For the times that I do hurt myself there is never an issue getting a quick last second appointment and I always leave with relief from whatever pain I was in.

I had very bad back and sciatica pain for a really long time. I was very scared to see a chiropractor but it turned out to be the best pain reliever ever. Dr McPeak helped me overcome my fear and has helped me tremendously.

I had major back pain for about 6 months were i could not sleep without any pain or get out of bed without a loud yelp sound. I got xrays, and a mri but no findings. I first went to Dr. Mc Peak for a hip pain. It was x-rayed and determined my hip was off 14mm from one side normally it is 4mm. He said he could fix it. Following his treatment process i became pain free. To maintain pain free and a balance to stay that way I continue to get adjusted. I have trust that the feeling of pain going forward will not occur. I do monthly adjustments to make sure I am in balance. I would highly and have recommended his services to friends to my surprise who visits the same doctor. Good chiropractors are difficult to find and Dr. McPeak is the real deal! I appreciate his attention to detail and interview/evaluations at the start of each visit, which enable him to target the areas that need the most attention. After visits with many other lackadaisical chiropractors, I'm super pleased I found Dr. McPeak!

I can’t count the number of times I have felt instant relief after a visit to Dr. McPeak! My husband, his mother, and even her mother have trusted him with their spines. Dr. McPeak provides important home exercises and tips to avoid further strain, so I now go longer between visits and experience much less pain from my scoliosis.

Several years ago I experienced pain from my lower back down thru the thigh. My primary physician diagnosed sciatica and prescribed OTC pain medicine. Recently the pain came back on the side and went down to the calf. Tried the same pain medicine plus lidocaine patches and capsaicin cream without relief. I have had treatments at Rothman and another chiropractic doctor before Doctor McPeak started treating my back problems when he had an office at the Becoming Center in Ambler. Sessions with Doctor McPeak were the first ones that alleviated the pain in my back. Before the Doctor's treatments, I was unable to walk more than seven minutes without stopping due to the pain. I had been been to another chiropractor before and it did not help and I was always skeptical about going back to another one. I started to develop sciatic pain about 2 years ago - I initially went to an acupuncturist and was able to get relief, albeit temporary. Still feeling like 'something was off' and tired of only temporary relief, I decided to seek out a chiropractor. I did a lot of research to find the right one - my research, as well as the recommendation from my family doctor lead me to Dr. McPeak. After months of pain and several trips to my primary, I decided to give a chiropractor a shot. I was skeptical, but couldn’t feel my foot and in pain. A friend recommended Dr. McPeak. It’s only been a few weeks, but I feel great! I had more relief after my first adjustment than I did with all of the pills the MD was giving me. I still have pain, but not nearly as bad or often. He was upfront with me, telling me it wouldn’t be an overnight miracle (it almost was) and there would be ups and downs as my body adjusts and heals. I was there yesterday and feel fantastic today! Last March of 2018 my primary had me go see a sports medicine doctor for a sore shoulder. I thought neck related as I have lower disc problems. Long story short when it, the pain/discomfort came back I choose a different route! Major discomfort shooting down ones arm is usually neck related. Having had already jumped through the hoops I had emg and mri’s that show four bulging discs in my neck. I was able to get new X-rays at Abington Hospital the next day. When I saw Dr. McPeak he said flat out that it may feel just a little worse before it gets better. Honesty! He was dead on thirteen weeks later and things have changed to the point that when asked at age thirty would I go for body maintenance once a month? Then I probably would say no. Today at 61 it is a no brainer. When he tells you his goal is to see you only once a month for maintenance, that is honesty you can’t buy! Must also add that we the patient must do our part! The stretch’s the work outs be it gym or not is on us.

I have had lower back pain for many years with occasional serious flare-ups. During my most recent bout of back pain I consulted Dr. McPeak. He took the time to explain chiropactic methods and practices; he took x-rays to pinpoint the problem and proceeded to treat the problem and relieve my pain. He has also made recommendations to help me avoid these issues in the future. I feel that I have a much better understanding of my back problems thanks to Dr. McPeak.

Dr. McPeak has helped me fully recover with two separate problems. Once when I fell while walkjng my dog and injured my leg and recently with sciatic pain in my left leg which caused excruciating pain that I thought was never going to go away but is now almost non existent. I would recommend everyone with similar problems to see Dr. McPeak who provides very professional, effective chiropractic care. With compliance with his program, real progress can be met resulting in less pain or no pain.

Always, always an improvement! Dr. McPeak continually leaves me with an improved, diminished body.

I have an L5S1 fusion that I was born with. I came to Dr Mcpeak with numbness and tingling in my left leg when I stood for long periods. With several visits I hardly have any issues but I think im down to once a month matinence visits. I'm very thankful for his service. I'm a career chef and am on my feet for 50 plus hours a week. When I started treatment with Dr. Mcpeak I could barely bend or lift my legs without extreme pain. After a few months of treatment I was able to work without discomfort. He is always helpful with my questions and is legitimately concerned with my progress. His staff is super friendly as well. Dr. McPeak helped me overcome my problems with recurring sciatica! I’ve been regularly seeing him for many years for routine adjustments, and whenever I need quick relief from minor self-induced mishaps to my spine. I feel much better every time I leave his office. I frequently refer my friends and co-workers to his practice.

I have been under Dr. McPeaks care for about 60 days and my back pain has been substantially reduced. Recovery times after physical exertion have been dramatically reduced and the level of pain in turn has been diminished to about a 3 from what used to be a 7 or 8 after physical activity.

I have noticed a great improvement not only with my back, but I used to need knee braces now I don't. I have been seeing Dr. McPeak for many years and noticed not only my back and knees but my overall well being. I give my highest regard and recomendation. You will feel much better after a visit.

I was a long-time migraine sufferer. Eighteen months ago the intensity and duration of migraines had increased to an unbearable level. On the advice of a friend I went to Dr. McPeak. After an evaluation, he found neck and back issues were the likely cause of my migraines. I was reluctant, but after each treatment I found improvement. My medical doctor fully supported this line of treatment. Happy to say I have been migraine free for almost a year & treat monthly for maintenance. Highly Recommend

I was referred to Dr. McPeak by my previous, retiring chiropractor, Dr. Letizzie over 10 yrs ago. Dr. McPeak is responsive to my needs and questions, explains his treatment plan, and respects my privacy; he has helped reduce episodes of acute back pain & sciatic nerve pain. He offers interferential stimulation and message therapy at his office which is a great additional benefit for me. When my 92 year old aunt fell and was in great pain he was able to see her & reduce discomfort.

Dr. McPeak has been treating my back and spine since February 1 of this year. After seeing three different back doctors last year I am finally getting some relief from Dr. McPeak. He has not only worked wonders with the adjustments he is applying but has explained how his treatments are affecting my spine and back muscles.
