The BEST!!!

It was a positive experience, the Doctor and staff were professional and informative. The treatment progressed as described. I am quite satisfied with the experience.

Dr Hammity is very nice and friendly. He explained things well. I have been seeing him for a few years and would recommend him to all my family and friends!

This was my 1st visit to a dermatologist. The staff was very professional and pleasant. Dr. Hamaty made me feel very much at ease. The exam was very comprehensive. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Hamaty.

Excellent!

Dr. Hamaty and his staff are first rate.

No burns or scrapes so that means a great annual checkup!

2022 .. same review! Dr. Hamaty and his staff are AMAZING! The fact that I only see them once a year is a good thing, but I do wish I had a healthy reason to see them more often. :)

Dr. Hamaty is the best! He is very thorough with his exams and doesn’t make you feel like you’re being rushed through the process. I refer him to friends and family all the time.

Dr. Hamaty is excellent in listening to your concerns and very thorough. He genuinely cares and goes the extra effort. The staff is very nice, as well.

This was my first dermatology appointment and had an excellent experience! Starting with all the Staff and their super friendly demeanor and Dr. Hamaty doing a shaving y to remove a mole in my back. Procedure was well explained as well as the follow up care. I highly recommend this practice to all who need no excellent dermatologist.

You want a dermatologist who is thorough and Dr. Hamaty is definitely a very thorough and careful doctor!

Dr. Hamaty is a very friendly and a very thorough doctor. I have been going to him for quite a long time and would recommend him to anyone looking for a good dermatologist!

Friendly, thorough exam, listens to concerns.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr Hamaty was patient with my questions and kept me informed of what he was about to do.

I have gone to Dr. Hamaty for years and I really trust him, and just as important, I like him. Doctor Hamiaty is always concerned and friendly. His staff is very nice also.

Outstanding doctor.

I was recommended to Dr. Hamaty because I needed to find a new dermatologist after the Highmark/UPMC split. I had moderate cystic acne that had come back worse after a few years of clear skin that had been treated elsewhere. He was very personable and examined me, but recommended things completely different. Though, I decided to give them a try. I saw no results at all after months of using the products. I understand it takes time, but I had reached a point where it had been 9 months of the same products with no results, my skin had looked worse. I had told Dr. Hamaty what my previous dermatologist had prescribed me that had cleared my skin and he said he would not prescribe it to me because "he did not like" the medications/products. He pressured me multiple times to go on birth control to treat the acne which was something I made very clear I had no interest in doing and did not want to do from the beginning. After noticing the immense amount of moles on my body, he decided to check me for skin cancer and found two moles that needed to be biopsied. I had no idea what bandages were placed on me, and the only instructions the nurse gave me was to not bathe for 24 hours. I knew nothing else. When I took the bandages off, there was a clear sticky bandage of my skin I did not know if I needed to remove or not and that amounted to many other problems. I called to ask what to do or how to remove it, and the nurses gave little to no help like they had no idea what I was talking about and laughed at me. I was a teen, this was my first experience having this kind of procedure, and I did not know anything of what to do, and they knew that. When one mole came back abnormal and had to be removed, I had to go to the main Forefront office for that procedure. The nurses were wonderful and I expressed my concern to the one about my acne and how I had seen no changes after using the same product for months on end and how I had brought different things to his attention he neglected to pursue and she said that was simply wrong of him to do. I feel as though in my experience here they tried to capitalize on the fact I was young because I did not understand as much as an older client would. I am very disappointed in my experience and my results at this office. I was recommended to Dr. Hamaty because I needed to find a new dermatologist after the Highmark/UPMC split. Second year I have been there and Dr. Hamaty is every through in checking you over. The staff is friendly. First year was there I had some pre cancer removed. I will continue going there.

I recommend Dr Hamaty and Forfront dermatology with a ten. I've been going to Dr Hamaty for about 15 years and I make sure I go for a yearly check up after a bout with skin cancer on my face. The scar is almost invisible ????. If ever I see anything that concerns me between my yearly appointment, I can call and be seen for Doc to take a look. The staff is great. What a great doctor and man! Dr. Hamaty is very personable and knowledgeable. His mannerism is gentle and thorough. Yearly, I go for a body scan to find any changes in my skin. He makes me feel very comfortable during this exam.

Professional across the board!

Everyone is very nice. I feel that they take very good care of me.

Dr. Hammity and his staff are efficient and friendly to interact with as a patient. Usually, you’ll find one or the other in a medical practice, it is rare to find both. This was my 1st experience with this practice and doctor, after previous less than satisfactory visits at a different practice. Dr. Hamaty has an excellent bedside manner, and took his time and explained every step of the exam. The support staff was very efficient and friendly. I am so happy I made the switch to this practice .
