Dr. Erik Joseph Modlo

No star!!!!!! Stay awày!!! worst dr ever!!!!!! so rude and uncaring!!! Don't go to him. He didnothing to help ànd didn't listen to me nor care about what I was telling him. Extremely rude. Not caring. Made it feel like I was wasting his time. Calling Cleveland clinic to report him. He should not be in medicàl office or anywhere people need help.

Did not. Seem to care about wanting to discuss my recent tests I had done. If you are elderly look else where for compassion and understanding

Had an appointment yesterday with Dr Modlo, and I will never go back. He made me wait and then had the nerve to tell me I should be on time. I was a relatively new patient and he was rude, short and clearly uncaring. Love Cleveland Clinic not Eric odlo

Great doc for me. He listens and is thoughtful with his replies and suggestions. Cares about finding out "why" my conditions exist rather than just treating the symptoms.

I have been seeing Dr. Modlo for about 3 years. I have tried to get use to his foul demeanor and just can't. He is condescending. He is sometimes rude. Not sure if it's because I am less than him as a woman or just not as good as he is. He does not hear what I say. He can treat an illness but he is not able not willing to help with my overall health.

Dr. Modlo is a very good doctor! I have had 17+ surgeries in my less than 30 years, so I have seen my fair share of them. As a result of those surgeries I have more specialists than I can count. However, I had been avoiding going to see a General Practitioner for many years, as going to any doctor gives me severe anxiety. Dr. Modlo spent almost 20 minutes talking to me about all of my issues. He explained things clearly and in a way I would understand. He also didn't just throw pain medication at me, which I have had other doctor's do in the past. I feel that I am heading in the right direction health wise now. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know.

Perhaps the worst doctor I've ever encountered, Dr. Modlo did not follow emergency room protocols, refused to aspirate my knee, making the excuse that it was operated on… 40 years ago… before kicking me out of his office when I dared question as to why he was lecturing me about calling his office to seek more expedited treatment of a knee injury than waiting for a week after being told that I had a possible ACL tear. No bedside manner, derelict in his duties as a physician, and a disgrace to his profession. The Cleveland Clinic is but a shell of what it once was. Years ago, it seems to me that this quack would never have made the cut. Today, with the CC swallowing up any health system it can, doctors like him not only get a pass, but are enabled in their mistreatment of patients. Soon, however, Mr. Modlo will be hearing from the State of Ohio Medical Board, so while I have little hope that they are anything more than a rubber stamp for this kind of behavior, at least there will be

If zero stars were an option, I would've gone with that. Treat him with kid gloves when you see him, everyone. He has a delicate ego, is a bit pompous, and doesn't like to be challenged.

Works with you. Not pushing any agenda. May question prior diagnosis and how achieved. Wants you to reflect back to what led you to office.

Dr Modlo doesn’t listen and doesn’t know medicine very well. I have a complicated medical history - and the last time I saw him, he cut me off in mid sentence and said “I’m sorry, I can’t help you” and stood to walk out the door!
