I hesitated to have this surgery,but boy am I glad I did! My surgery was easy peasy and my recovery was a breeze. I’m very happy with the scar ….even at four months in its looking very good. I’m a very pleased patient of Dr Cottrill.

Great bedside manner in addition to being a very skilled doctor and suergon.

Nothing better than having someone that listena and has ur best interest at heart. My overall experience has been amazing.

I am so happy that I met Dr. Cottrill and she did my surgery. I couldn’t have been in better hands. She is a wealth of knowledge but also patient, gentle and a great listener.

I am very grateful for Dr. Cottrill- she is very understanding and truly cares about her patients. I was nervous going into my surgery and I reached out to Dr. Cottrill multiple times and each time she was more than willing to give me a call to talk through my worries. Not only did surgery go great, my incision looks better than I ever expected, and I feel comfortable knowing that Dr. Cottrill is on top of all my follow-up care. I truly could not have had a better experience and I recommend Dr. Cottrill to anyone having issues with their thyroid.

I feel so fortunate to have had Dr. Cottrill as my provider. She spent considerable time easing the concerns of my parents and myself before, during and after surgery. She got second opinions on every test result and ultrasound I had along the way, and even got me in for an additional biopsy before surgery to make sure I wouldn't have to remove my entire thyroid due to cancer concerns. On surgery day, I was excited to see her! Her sense of calm and great bedside manner put me immediately at ease. I never once felt concerned with how my surgery would go. Her printed instructions for after surgery care was so helpful, as I couldn't remember most of what nurses told me to do after surgery. The surgical site healed up wonderfully with no complications. Dr. Cottrill also has an amazing team that works hard to double check results and give thorough analyses.

Dr. Cottrill is fantastic and very professional. She is very pleasant and very friendly. I was in great hands with her and her staff and appreciated all the attention she offered to me. Nice and clear when giving instructions about my care.

She doesnt keep you waiting, great exam, explained the results of my U.S., what could be done, and which option she feels is the most appropriate at this time , puts you at ease and that's important to me

Dr. Cottrill performed a text book surgery on my 25 yr old son. He had Thyroid cancer but his case was more difficult than most so we were very worried. I literally cant say enough about her on this review because they limit the amount of characters. She was nothing less than awesome! Extremely caring, very talented, she even called my son from her private cell phone the night before surgery to talk to him because she knew he was afraid. I also cannot say enough about Jefferson Hospital staff.

Dr C was awesome. Told you everything she was doing and what you will feel as she does it. No surprises. Very thorough in her exam. I loved that she is young and fresh. I want a young dr who has been educated in cutting edge technology vs a dr 30 years ago. She is awesome

Dr. Cottrill met with me in hospital for a retropharyngeal abcess. She was extremely thorough and wonderful with walking me through the diagnostic testing she was going to do. When I met with her for a recheck and still wasnt better, she provided the same thorough and wonderful care in her office as we pushed on with more diagnostics. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Conttrill! Simply wonderful care, such a nice person and the staff in office are wonderful also!

Scheduling an appointment with Dr Cotrill was by my choice. I found out that I had thyroid nodules. Due to the fact that cancer runs in our family, I took the extra precaution for myself. Dr Cotrill explained Health situations that I have been living with that could be & should be further investigated. She also brought me comfort to know that while I do need to see an endocrinologist, surgery is not necessary. Dr. Cottrill excel's in knowledge, kindness, & compassion. Ty a very grateful patient

Dr. Cottrill is a very thorough surgeon. She explained my condition and treatment options/plans so that I could understand. She was polite and spent lots of time with me answering questions and making me feel at ease about my condition. I would recommend her to both family and friends!
