Dr. Dustin O'Hern

Went to Northshore ER in Portland. Think I have strep. Instead of doing the swab he says we're gonna treat you for that. As leaving I asked if they can call in my prescriptions. He could care less, was sitting there on his phone and the nurse was trying to explain to him but he had his reasons, like he didn't want to work or be bothered. I was standing right there, he didn't care. The nurse made up for everything tho, very sweet.

He has no care, was busy on his phone while nurse was asking if can call in my prescriptions. Believe one of his answers was I don't care. Very unprofessional. Didn't do the swab for strep, just said we're gonna treat as is.

If I ever have to go to Bay Area ER and he’s the dr on call, I will leave. He did nothing for me to ease my pain. The same way I arrived (minus the ambulance) is the same way I left, IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN. Told me looks like u have a back problem, which is exactly what I told him when he walked into the room. I wonder how much he’s going to charge me for 1 minute of discussion. Couldn’t of been having a bad day as he just arrived for his shift. Steer clear of this ? Doctor ?
