Dr. Dorothy Sanford Sprecher

Started going to her decades ago, before the word "functional/holistic" was a thing! After a boatload of expensive tests (yes, be prepared for those cuz ins. won't cover them) she correctly diagnosed me with being borderline celiac (way before THAT was thing!) and helped me understand what I needed to change. What a relief to hear this diagnosis when I thought for sure I was dying! She has the best 'bedside manor' I have ever experienced and truly listens and takes notes during the appt. While I can no longer afford going to her due to the cost of all the testing and supplements, I recommend her especially if typical western med. hasn't given you a cause or any satisfaction for your issue. If you can afford the protocol, she is worth it.

Dr Sprecher helped clear my son of his severe psoriasis- she was a life changer!! She taught us so much.

After my husband was out of work for 2+ years due to medical issues and a number of misdiagnoses from the Clinic, we discovered Dr Sprecher. She was the first person to truly treat him like a whole person and quarterback his health journey. She listens intently and cares deeply. Yes, Dr Sprecher is expensive (she's out of network) and yes, he still needs to closely manage and tend to some health issues (and she's very upfront about both). But, she completely and single handedly changed the trajectory of his life and there's no price on that. Countless friends and family have sought her out after witnessing the positive changes. Dr. Sprecher is thorough and compassionate. If you ever needed to find a doctor who will LISTEN to all your concerns and then actively pursue the answers to your health concerns then she is worth every penny! She will not just throw a prescription drug at the problem with out treating the source, but she tries to get to the source and heal you so that the symptoms that are bothering you go away or are improved. When you leave there for the first time you will feel a weight lifted off your shoulders for having finally found a well qualified and empathetic Doctor who hears you and genuinely wants to help you. Healing doesn’t always happen naturally and it will most likely require nutritional aid and dietary changes to help you feel better. Go there Mentally prepared to accept these things. I have been seeing her for two and a half years and went from Sick and bed ridden to fully functioning. She has equipped me with the knowledge I need to keep making improvements in my every day life. I have been a patient for 12 years. She has helped me with food intolerance, adrenal fatigue and over all wellness. She found my husband's cancer, saving his life. Dr. Sprecher is the best. As a patient, you have to be committed to the work of being well. It isn't easy but Dr. Sprecher will help you the whole way with expertise and compassion.

A complete utter fake. The only thing that will change in your life is you will have a lot less money. The word FRAUD is appropriate.

I don't think you can find a more caring and committed doctor. You also feel you are part of the process of finding what your issues are (not just being talked down to). She is more oriented to what will make and keep you well as opposed to treating symptoms (functional vs. traditional medicine).

... I want to be able to say that I love it, the people are wonderful and the ideas that the Doc discusses seem right on BUT I've been being treated there for a year, I've done everything they have asked and I still feel awful... And I've spent thousands of dollars. I don't know where else to turn.

10 years ago, thought I had some life-threatening disease; I felt terrible and looked 8 months pregnant, I was so bloated. Dr. Sprecher took the fear and worry away and ran a bunch of tests and found I was borderline celiac, allergic to gluten and a few other things. What a relief! At this time the gluten issue was not at the forefront as we know it to be today so I am grateful she had the knowledge to test for it. It's expensive and a hassle to deal with filing insurance on my own but worth it.

I have greatly improved on 4 out of 5 autoimmune diseases in only a few months of treatment.

wonderful with the patients, takes time to listen, very innovative with treatment, lovely staff. would recommend to others.
