My family has been using Dr. Berland for many years. We all absolutely love her, she’s thorough and listens to you. I am so happy to have her as my primary care physician!

There are not enough stars to rate Dr. Berland and office staff. Dr. Berland is intelligent, most compassionate and the best Primary Doctor I have ever seen. I must command Thatiana, the office secretary/assistant is super efficient and extremely helpful so is Heather at the front desk in Plainview office, I deeply appreciate the care and assistance they attended to all my needs .

Dr. Doris Berland was referred to me by my daughter’s OBGYN. My daughter with special needs & I had our initial appointments with Dr. Berland almost a year ago. Paperwork was emailed to me prior so we had very little wait time. I also received text reminders of our upcoming appointments which were most beneficial! The office is kept meticulously clean, social distancing & mask wearing are enforced to ensure everyone’s health & safety. Everyone in the office is genuinely warm, friendly & caring. Dr. Berland did thorough exams on both of us, was very patient, professional & most knowledgeable. She also made excellent referrals & took the time to personally call me with test results. Dr. Mildred Medina Rodriguez, Dr. Berland’s assistant, is phenomenal! She has the sweetest demeanor, responds promptly to calls & emails and sends out scripts in a timely manner. Dr. Berland & Mildred Medina Rodriguez work extremely well as a team and extend themselves over & above. My daughter & I are extremely grateful to Dr. Berland and her exceptional team!! Dr Berland is incredible. The first doctor to actually care to listen to me and to respond to all my issues. For the first time in 50 years I felt comfortable enough to share my pains and aches without the fear of being ignored, now I can work on getting better, on knowing the unknown. Dr. Berland took excellent care of my mother and was with her and our family step by step while we tried to figure out why my mom's health was declining. She never gave up on my mom and advocated for her. And when my mother was taking her last breaths in the middle of the night at St. Francis Hosp., Dr. Berland came to visit to say goodbye to my mom and to console the family. My sisters now use her as their PCP and I will be switching shortly as well. She could write the book on bedside manner. Dr BERLAND is a wonderful doctor: smart, patient, and caring. She never rushes office visits. She follows up when necessary and goes WAY beyond her office hours. Five stars are not enough!

Dr. Berland is the best! She gives you her undivided attention and makes you feel like you are her only patient. I will follow her wherever she is!

I could list multiple reasons why Dr Berland deserves 5 stars, however 5 stars does not adequately rate the patient care continuously provided by this exceptionally deducted physician

She has always been wonderful, caring, thorough and available. It is not her fault her partners chose different type of practice, which is not as nice as the former. Moving to different place and different type of office admin is not her fault. She remains the same. Wonderful!

Love Dr. Berland. She takes the time to discuss your questions, makes you feel at ease. You don't feel rushed. With that said, schedule your appointment well in advance! Wait time in the office could use some improving but no reflection on her as an MD and skill. She is nice and easy to talk to. Highly recommend.

Dr. Berland is the BEST! She takes care of my whole family and we all love her. She spends a lot of time with patients and we know she really cares. She always returns calls promptly and stays on top of everything. I cannot recommend Dr. Berland enough!

Dr Berland is a good listener and as she cares for me she considers all that can effect my health.

Excellent thorough exam. Listens to you and doesn’t rush you in anyway. Talks to the patient NOT the computer! Staff is friendly and are eager to help the patient. Very happy with her care.Not intimidating makes you feel comfortable. You can easily talk to her like a friend. Sets a high standard for others to compete with.

Fantastic doctor...but her new office must be the most badly run and rude doctors office i have ever visited

If you're looking for a physician who ACTUALLY cares about her patients Dr.Berland is the one for you. From explanations of all procedures that she is doing to you to the blood testing that being preformed, she covers all bases. I felt as if she genuinely cares about me and my well being. I changed PCP's due to negligence and now if feel as if she is my missing puzzle piece. Her assistant Salena was such an great help and definitely a great reflection of what an amazing practice Dr.Berland has. Dr. Berland is intelligent, skilled and caring. Because I have a chronic underlying disease, managing even minor illnesses can be a challenge. Dr. Berland rises to that challenge every time. She listens, reviews my history and considers my options. I have referred my husband to her and he has the same high opinion. She is a great doctor.

Dr. Berland epitomizes what an internist and primary care physician should be. Her office and treatment team manner are excellent. She has two distinguishing features, number one she actively listens to her patients and number two her in depth diagnostic testing and interpretation of the results are worthy of merit.
