Very unhelpful. Instead of giving antibiotics for a bacterial infection I have had multiple times before and have been successfully treated with antibiotics for, she insisted it was viral. I can't afford another dr. visit for a second opinion right now given the financial struggles from covid so I am left to let this bacterial infection progress until I can afford care somewhere else.

You should be aware that Dr. Chazen also works for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield as a claims approver. In that capacity, she has a reputation for being anything but compassionate, rejecting all requests (including mine) ACROSS THE BOARD to see an out-of-network specialist, no matter how urgent the patient’s need to see that particular specialist. If my referring doctor, the specialist, and I not sent a barrage of appeals, I would not have been allowed to see the specialist most appropriate to my situation.
