Dr. Dean Spiros Economos

Dr.Economos is an awesome Dr. and very much recommended! HOWEVER, the office staff NEVER answer the phone. For any kind of communication, you have to leave messages, and if they call you back when you're unable to answer or talk, you're stuck playing phone tag. NOT a good business practice and difficult to manage healthcare needs like this.

Dr Dean is hands down the BEST doctor I've ever had. He's always so friendly with a boisterous, amazing personality and really cares about his patients. I moved from ingleside about 2 years ago and I drive 40 minutes just to keep seeing him; I absolutely refuse to change. I cannot stress enough the amount of help I've received from him over the years and the staff have always been extremely pleasant and accommodating as well. You can't ask for a better team. Dr. Economos refused to fill out FMLA paperwork because he "didn't know me." He stated that my Dr. needed to fill out paperwork even though my Dr. had no idea of my father's situation. I had to have hospice fill out the paperwork and they were appaulled that Dr. Economos didn't complete.

Dr. Dean Economos is wonderful

I love these Dr's. And staff. Really great people.

I've been going to this doctor for over 10 years and he makes you feel like you're part of his family. He's intelligent, thorough, and very direct. I highly recommend him!

I don't know what happened this place but when I decided to find a new physician they tried saying I had an outstanding balance. They also tried charging me a late fee for a screw up they did and I have statements plus cancelled check showing I don't owe anything. At this point I'll be making an official complaint to the state. This has been going on for over 3 months and I have left several messages with no call back. It's disappointing to see a place retaliate in such a way and it turns out they actually had me on the wrong dosage of medicine. The practice doesn't rush you or push their opinions on to you. From the doctors to the office staff I have never felt so comfortable. It's just like a visit to family and not a dreaded checkup. The financial portion is very reasonable and they accept cash patients without judging. By far the best medical experience of my life. I have been a patient for almost a decade. From my husband's heart condition to me being diagnosed with MS there is NO doctor like Dr Dean Economos! Dr. D. is always compassionate, never makes you feel like a number and he a has a plan that works best for you, the patient.

Dr. Economos is by far the greatest doctor I have ever contacted. He actually cares about your situation and will guide you in the process of a healthy lifestyle. He is honest and explains what has happened in a very thoughtful and professional way. Very prompt with appointments and waiting time has been maybe a minute before I actually get to see him. Donna will be the first person you talk to and she is also outstanding! The office manager is wonderful to deal with!

I just needed to google Dr. E. to get his fax number and saw the "Write A Review" box. So, I thought I would. We have been visiting Dr. Economos for about 7 years. We first met Dr. E. when my step-son was in the hospital, and enjoyed his service and advice ever since. He's just a really good, caring, small town values, doctor. I would give Dr. Dean Economos at least 6 stars on a 5 star system, as he is an AWESOME physician. He literally keeps me alive...I love that man, & even his wife, Dr. Donna, knows how much I respect him. He saved my life once, & even saved my adult son's life once because of his sharp mind. The man is truly brilliant w/ possibly a photographic memory...I've heard him quote me about something I'd mentioned to him maybe 10 years prior (& this has happened numerous times). Doc is head & shoulders above the rest: When you add his genius to his genuine caring & compassion, you have a very rare individual. I hope as others read this & become his patients, he will still have time for me...I don't really want to crowd up his at waiting room, which rarely has a long wait, due to his organizational skills & great staff. All doctors should emulate him. If this review is a little over the top, it's all based on fact, plus Dr. Economos has earned every one of my comments.
