Dr. David Francis Markel

Both my kids have been at Dr. Markel’s care since when they were born. My daughter is now 17 and my son is 12. Dr. Markel is knowledgeable, professional, very patient and prompt to explain clearly any questions or concerns. He also answered calls during the weekend when my kids were babies to answer to any kind of issues they had. The nurses and front desk personnel are pleasant and always welcoming. The office is spotless clean. Overall a great doctor and I totally recommend Dr. Markel.

I've been taking my son to Hamburg pediatrics since Dr Randazzo was there. All 4 of my sons were then seen by Dr. Markel for the past 18 years. My 2 adult sons are now 22 and 20.Hes an excellent Doctor and friend. I've never had a problem with his staff and they always go above and beyond to fit me in with my tight work schedule and all of my sons love being seen by him. That Being said, parents can not expect a very busy office(im sure bc his patients love him) to accommodate last minute.

I at first was very satisfied with Dr. Markel until my recent experience. I called to refill a script for my daughter in which they told me that she needed to be seen, that's fine and dandy, I advised that due to me being a single working parent that I only have certain days off and requested medication to get to the appointment that I would have scheduled for 4 days later. This guy, He is the best. He has been treating my 3 kids for the last 13 years. He is extremely compassionate, super smart. Thinks outside the box when needed, and I have a child with a mental illness. Dr. Markel has been instrumental in helping us find the best Psychiatrist and mental health care for our child. He is the real deal. Whole package. Also his staff is super efficient, caring and very capable.

Couldn't be happier with Dr. Markel and his staff for care my children. My girls are teenagers and have been patients of his for more than ten years.

Absolutely horrible! If you go here make sure you a plot ready at a grave yard for your children. ...my babies almost died because of his stupidity

The whole office really is wonderful. The staff know my kids by name when we come in. They always talk to them and they really seem to enjoy them. They've always taken care of us and made phenomenal devaision regarding my kid healthcare. Dr. Markel has great beside manner and he listens to my concerns. The kids really like him.
