I have been a patient of Celebration OBGYN for over 20 years! Dr. Marcantel delivered both of my now handsome grown boys! I recommend him and this practice to everyone! They are top notch with customer service and patient care!

I have been a patient of Dr. Marcantel’s for the last 4 years to help with all of my post-child bearing care. He is so kind, patient and truly listens to your concerns. I appreciate that he makes me feel confident in decisions regarding my health care and always take the time to make sure I am doing great!!

I was taken to the emergency room by ambulance. At the emergency room I was told I need to see a OBGYM as soon as posible, Dr Marcantel’s practice open their doors to me and took me right in. The best experience ever. Dr Vandevelde is amazing and profesional. She made me feel right at home and right away schedule my surgery for the same day. Thank you Kelly, Dr. Marcantel, Dr. Vandevelde and the full staff at the front desk, for taken such a good care of me. I recommend this practice to everyone. Hands down best practice in Celebration Fl!

Takes his time and explains everything to you. Very personable. I never wait in the Davenport office.

Honestly he is not very “gentle”. Not sure how to describe him but it’s almost as if he doesn’t care. I get that he sees many women and I’m just one more patient be he lacked communication on my procedure on the after care and in what I should expect. I found myself googling things when Igor him that I felt like he should’ve told me. He doesn’t communicate with his patients as he should & he had a rough hand. All of the physicians are absolutely wonderful. Dr. Marcantel is an incredible surgeon with phenomenal bedside manner!! Highly reccomend him!

I have been a patient since 1997 and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! Dr. Marcantel is an excellent doctor. He is very informative, patient, kind and professional. He is an excellent listener and addresses all concerns. I have referred many friends and my daughter. Again, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Marcantel is amazing! He did my hysteroscopy in 2012 and I now have a 6 year old son! Very happy patient!

I have had nothing but good experiences with both the front office staff and Dr Marcantel. Considering the amount of times that I have called with what I felt was a stupid question, we all wound up laughing after words. Dr. Marcantel is very understanding and will listen to your issues and will suggest a few of the options stating what he would do first. If you are hesitant, he will explain again the options and help you decide what is the best for you.

I just want to say I'm really disappointed and really upsetting about how I have been treated and there is no communication with this practice .im currently 41 weeks pregnant plus days. and I was suppose to be induced on Monday but since the hurricane was coming I wanted to do a earlier on Friday because god forbid my water breaks during the storm ... i got a call from Julie register nurse coordinator and she said that I will be induced on Friday and to check in the hospital at 5pm and i am set... we prepared all day for the hurricane Irma at my house.packed our bags and head to the hospital.I talked to the nurse there to get checked in and the nurse Claire told me I was not scheduled to be induce I waited two hours to see if they can get in contact with dr cruz or to find out more information as I And my husband are really confused.. finally dr.mabu told me unfortunately we can't get in contact with anyone whoever filed the paperwork did not transfer the paperwork to the hospital and couldn't see me today because the hospital is full now but they have my paperwork so they know im suppose to get induce but someone didn't transfer any of it at the hospital ???!!! I was so upset and didn't think it was fair it sadness me because the office are really nice and doctors but you guys drop the ball on this big time !!! I pray to god my water doesn't break during the storm and nothing happens to us because it would be unfortunate.. If I could give zero stars I would. To start off, we went to Celebration Ob starting in January of 2016 when we found out we were pregnant with our daughter. They were amazing the whole time and we always saw Judy and she was so nice and sweet. In July of 2016 when I went into labor Dr. Lemert delivered our daughter and he was very nice and caring as well. The problems started after I had my daughter. We came in several times for different issues (birth control, etc) and we were never given clear answers or taken seriously. Now here is where it really gets great. We found out baby #2 was coming in June of this year (2017) and on June 28th I started bleeding. We called and they fit us in right away for an ultrasound but the lady who did it was a training tech still in college. She barely knew what she was doing and all she said was "There's nothing there." And took alot of pictures. We were sent back into the waiting room and told to wait to get called back to see the doctor. After 2 hours of waiting and me having an active miscarriage (confirmed at the hospital later that afternoon after I passed the baby.), and us asking several times when we were going to be seen, they told us "oh you aren't scheduled to see the doctor you'll have to make another appointment." At this point I'm a hysterical mess so we left and went to Winter Haven hospital where I had a vaginal ultrasound done and they confirmed I was pregnant and shortly afterwards I passed our sweet angel. Me and my husband have tried numerous times to contact the office with no return call. I will post this everywhere until something is done about your practice and then even afterwards. I do not EVER want this happening to someone here again. Your lack of care and respect is ridiculous. If I could give zero stars I would. Extremely caring and knowledgeable practice. Dr. Marcantel and his team are the best. My adult daughter and I would never go anywhere else.

Dr. Marcantel saved mine and my daughter's lives in 2012. I did not know what was happening at the time, but I was developing preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. I had severe upper gastric pain, which I found out later was basically my liver shutting down. I was 33 weeks pregnant. I had called after hours two days prior and got Dr. Lemert on call. He told me it was just probably heartburn and take medication for heartburn. Dr. Lemert did not err on the side of caution and ask me to come in. Two days later the pain was even more severe. That night when I called in, thankfully, I got Dr. Marcantel. It was late, but he calmly said maybe it was my gallbladder, to go to the Celebration ER and he would meet me there. I think he knew then it was HELLP, but he didn't make me nervous. I had never been admitted to a hospital before and probably would not have gone in unless he had told me to go. When it's your first child, there are so many things you don't know. They confirmed it as HELLP, transferred me to Winnie Palmer, and Dr. Edwards did a quick c-section. I could not be more grateful to Dr. Marcantel for a correct, life saving diagnosis. Besides that, every other visit I have had with him, he is so calm and never makes you feel rushed asking all your questions. Dr. Marcantel saved mine and my daughter's lives in 2012. My first pregnancy was a great experience with them. The second one a nightmare. No communication, way too many patients, and not enough time to listen. Nobody showed up for my birth and the hospital is attached to the office. No excuse! The billing is screwy so you have to watch and question the charges.

I would give less than 1 star if that was an option. My wife has never felt less respected and cared for in her life. We just relocated to florida and have had difficult past pregnancies. My wife was in the ER last week (at 5.5 weeks pregnant) and was diagnosed with a sub chorionic hemmorage. She immediately called the office here to let them know. Long story short, she was told to keep her already scheduled appointment for today and spoke to the provider she'd be seeing today who told her not to worry that they would monitor the hemorrhage. Well, three people in the office decided to call my wife a point blank liar. Needless to say, after waiting to be seen for 1 1/2 hours, we spoke to the office manager who was just as rude and uncaring; therefore, we left are taking my wife and unborn babies' Healthcare elsewhere. If you want good customer service and to be truly cared for.... do not choose this practice! I would give less than 1 star if that was an option. It's a shame that all of the good doctors (Dr. Kenton, Dr. Elms) have moved on from this practice as they were the only reason we stayed as long as we did. Dr. Mercantel, head of the practice, screamed at my husband this morning and told us we are no longer welcome at "his practice" because we dared to complain about the lack of communication and horrendous wait times. Very unprofessional treatment of a woman in her third trimester. Stay far, far away! It's a shame that all of the good doctors (Dr. Kenton, Dr. Elms) have moved on from this practice as they were the only reason we stayed as long as we did. Although we had a series of unfortunate events with this practice, our baby and wife are healthy and happy after delivery. The office administrator called to apologize for our experience, which was appreciated. Our doctor wasn't available for delivery nor were any of the other doctor from the practice. The bottom line was there was a problem with communication, but luckily everything is ok. They took our feedback to heart and hopefully our experience will help future Moms to have a more peaceful and comfortable experience. Extremely knowledgable and reassuring. Dr. Mercantel has the best bed side manner and puts you at ease with his warm Louisiana easy going personality.

I had an excellent experience at this practice. I saw some prior issues on reviews and none happened to me. Everyone greeted me with kindness and my wait time was about ten minutes. I got an IUD implanted and was SO nervous and my physician was SO wonderful! She talked me through every single thing she did and answered all my questions and gave me truly honest advice. I have never actually been seen by dr. Marcantel, but the practice is his. I have had horrible experience after horrible experience with his office staff in their Celebration office. The billing staff member,Sandy maybe?, was condescending&unprofessional AND she refused to allow me2speak to Dr. Marcantel when I wanted to communicate how his staff was running his business. I wish I had more characters bc I could type a book on all of the bad things that have happened here over the past year.

Dr. Marcantel is a wonderful Dr. with excellent bed side manor. I have been a patient of his for years and I have nothing but positive praise for him. His office staff are friendly and professional. Top Notch Group.

My wife is a patient of Dr. Marcantel and I am very impressed with his bed side manor and attention to detail. She recently had a hysterectomy and we were both very revealed and happy with the experience.

Just left that awful practice today the receptionist is so rude . I would not recommend this place to anyone, the doctors are not on the same page. All of them give you different information. The ladies at the celebration office are rude, my experience was a nightmare.

The wait times are horrible. I was here 20 mins before my apt. Only to be told an hour later the midwife was called away. I was told I could wait or be rescheduled since I wasn't a priority patient it could be another hour, but there is no way to know. I came back at a later time and was told there shouldn't be a wait... I'm still waiting.... let's see how long they take this time. Never had this issue in CA. This is what happens when you over book each Doctor and nurse. And when only some patients are considered important. The wait times are horrible. I was here 20 mins before my apt. I left his office as it was one mess up after another . Fetal testing was done too early so it showed my baby had a very high chance of down syndrome when he realized this retesting was done a few weeks later. I called and was told everything was great with second testing. Next visit I'm given the same report as last time. I told him I had called the office and was told everything was great this test around. I asked him to call the lab and here we found he was reading the wrong test results to me. I told him I had toxemia as this was my 4th child and I had this condition before. He kept telling me I had some of the symptoms but not enough of them. Get induced as per my request and I was given a different induction medication then what he wanted me to have. Give birth and now I'm full of fluid but sent home with water pills only to be rushed back in 2 days later with toxemia and find myself in the ICU cardiac unit. The fluid was now in my heart as well. Almost lost my life. Needless to say I never went back to him . People rave over him but as of for me the experience was not good :( I left his office as it was one mess up after another . The actual doctors at this practice are fantastic. It's just a shame that their front staff are so awful it makes going to this office absolutely miserable. I've had 3 appointments, 2 ultra sounds, an Eco Cardiograham and my 3 hour glucose test all messed up by office staff. The glucose test orders were never sent (I called to confirm twice because of the precious problems) and I had to wait on hold for 46 min and then staff hung up on me for tying up the line. Ended with 19 hours of fasting.

I was a patient there and my child's birth was a nightmare. One of the doctors there punctured my intestines and it was not found out for 8 days when I was in icu. Though I was a patient at his office dr marcantel knowing I was seriously ill did not visit after the first day until I had a second surgery to fix the intestines. His behaviour was very condescending towards us. I was away from my newborn for 18 days and in the hospital. It was a very sad time and no there wasn't any compensation.

Dr. Marcantel is an INCREDIBLE doctor. He takes his time with his patients, answers all your questions (no matter how many you have), knows his stuff, always has a cheerful demeanor and makes sure you understand what's going on with your body (especially when you're pregnant).
