Dr. David M Jutkowitz

Abhorrent! This is just another unfortunate example of how bad health care is, and how bad the quality of people in this industry: I called and asked if Dr. Jutkowitz was accepting new patients, and I was then asked what my insurance is and if I was on any medications. I found this odd, but answered anyway. I was told that Dr. Jutkowitz doesn't prescribe medications very easily, to which I said I was basically looking for a new PCP, as I have just moved back to CT. She then asked again if I was looking for medication. I assured her that I wasn't someone who was looking for a doctor to prescribe medication, and that I was looking for a PCP. She then rudely told me they weren't accepting new patients and hung up on me.

I have been a patient of Dr. J for about a year now. I transferred to him from a more commercialized group practice, and he was exactly what I was looking for! His physical exams are very old fashioned and thorough, like the kind of care I remember getting as a kid. Unfortunately most doctors are not like this anymore. I also love the old fashioned feel of his office, it’s like stepping into a time capsule! I wish I had found him sooner!

Dr. J is an amazing physician. He is not allowed to retire because I know I will never find a such an amazing Dr.

Dr J is amazing. He has been taking care of myself, my husband and two sons since they were born. He is very caring, smart and compassionate. The nurse and the receptionist are sweethearts. I would not trust anyone else.

He saved my sons life many years ago when he was little ... my son is now 44

Dr. J is so intelligent and funny! He is a brilliant doctor and has helped my family for about 50 years.

Dr. Jutkowitz was my pediatrician and provided exceptional care until I moved out of state at 18. He is friendly, respectful and incredibly knowledgeable. It's rare to find a doctor who is so consistent and clear.

Do not go to this doctor - when my Dad was hospitalized in e.r. & he was asking for help all he did was look at him while standing against the wall & laugh - beware!! Must have gotten his degree in stupidity!

I have known Dr Jutkowitz for over 37 years and he is honest, very smart and skilled in the ways of diagnosis and examination in ways that today's younger doctors have either forgotten or gone to a computer. I highly recommend Dr Jutkowitz!

I called this place because I wanted to see if could be a new patient here, the lady at the front desk.. Apparently had a rough morning and is taking it out on people. Not a good person to answer calls. If you don't like your job go find another place. She hanged up on my face twice. I didn't even get her name. Very rude.. I wish I could have met Dr J.. Our family has been going to DR Jutkowitz for generations. He is very kind, extremely knowledgeable and his practice has a warm family touch as opposed to the cold feeling of the typical commercial office. Nothing but positive experiences here.
