Worst place ever. The old lady receptionist is extremely rude and seems like she really hates her job and patients. Assistants whisper to each other and snicker while working on your teeth and make you feel self conscious. And dr heath fat belly will press up against your cheek while he is working on your teeth.

Feeling really Scammed at this point. Would not recommend this office for adults and Especially not for Children. They took it upon themselves to do whatever work on my child without obtaining permission first! Was told that my child was getting a tooth pulled and he came out of the office with 5 fillings and No tooth pulled! Charged us $700+ dollars for work (that we didn’t even want done)...Can’t believe this! Also parents aren’t allowed back with their children to approve or disapprove for the work that’s being done. We have been seeing Dr. Heath for over 25 years. His knowledge is outstanding and his work is excellent. Dr. Heath is always calm and has a presence about him that give his patients confidence in his work. If you are looking for a dentist, we highly recommend Dr. David Heath. jim & flo wilhelm

It was the best dental experience my family has ever had. Dr. Batten and his staff work well with all ages. I would recommend them to everyone.

He has always been a very pleasant Dentist. I wished he took Humana Medicare. On the back of my Humana card for dentist is says DEN110

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Heath for 30 years (twice a year). We have always had professional experiences with Dr. Heath and his staff. If a procedure has ever been needed, Dr. Heath explained what was needed and why. He does not give antibiotics if you do not have an infections or pain meds. If you need them later he makes sure they are actually needed. That is the kind of doctor we all need these days. We trust him and he has always kept our mouths healthy.

Dr Heath is the only dentist I will ever visit. He is the best around. I worked in a dental lab for over a decade. I know how important proper dental care is. Dr Heath won't try to rip you off with procedures you don't need. His work is solid and lasts a very long time. The only dentist I fully trust.

I went in needing wisdom teeth taken out, now I can't brush my teeth due to pain. They did a deep cleaning and now they hurt when anything sweet or tooth paste touches them and I can't push with the tooth brush. It's been 4 months. I owe $400 (after paying $1,000 in cash and my insurance paying $2,000 for myself and my husband) and not being able to brush my teeth. Please, please avoid this place. Dr.Batten ,did a excellent job ,i had 4 teeth pulled ,one was a canine ,i felt absolutely nothin ,pullin teeth is never fun but ,wow i recommend him if you need it done ,i hadnt been to the dentist in yrs cause i hate going ,i dread the pain that goes with it ,i hate now i waited so long,the ladies who help are also great ,even the receptionist ,the are all super nice people and professional , i forgot to mention that i had a absess tooth i called on a thursday evening after hrs ,they called me back friday mornin and fit me in the schedule that day ,they took care of me asap ,and believe me i appreciated that ???? i had my first appointment on 6/13/2017 with Dr. Heath he is a mazing dentist I had four teeth extracted and I didn't even feel a thing. and his staff is amazing also. I will never leave. Its hard finding a good dentist.

I went in needing wisdom teeth out and a deep cleaning. Now I can't even brush my teeth due to pain, not to mention he did other things he never advised me he was going to do. My husband and I are now in the hole $1,400 and our insurance paid him any additional $2,000. Can't believe I came out of the dentist with worse teeth. Thanks, Dr Heath.

STAFF & Doctor RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. Very Unprofessional and NASTY attitudes. Save yourself a disappointing appointment and stay away! Walkertown NEEDS other options for dentistry, but until then go to Kernersville or Winston.

I logged on to write a review. However, I see that I'm not the only person feeling like they are less than professional. Me being new to the Medicaid world, had never been discriminated upon due to my insurance. I missed an appointment by a day. I was called by the rudest receptionist I've ever came across. I received a call that I was late for my appointment. I at this point I tried to tell her that I thought my visit was the following day. I mean who in real pain, ignores a dentist visit. I then asked if I could reschedule? I was them told that they don't allow Medicaid patients to reschedule. I then asked if I could pay some sort of fee and then be seen. At this point the receptionist began to be rude saying there's nothing that can be done it's their policy. If and when I had private insurance, I never dealt with this type discrimination. Upon reading these reviews I feel as if things may have worked out in my favor. I'm already in enough pain.. don't need him or his unprofessional staff making it worst. I logged on to write a review. I have been to many Dentists in my life, and this dude is the best. This place is very efficient and concise at what they do.

Went in to have a wisdom tooth removed. It was causing so much pain, I couldn't even open my mouth. The staff was very nice about everything, and I was in and out in less than an hour. I didn't even feel the tooth being removed. It was amazing. Definitely will refer Dr. Heath.

Worse Doctor EVER !!! And VERY rude

If I could give negative stars I would, both of children went to this office last week and they WILL NOT be going back! One of kids had to have gas for his procedure so his went okay I guess. However, my other son who is six was there to get his first ever filling. Their dad was in the waiting room and could hear him screaming like he had never heard before but we kind of expected that. What we did not expect was to find out that dr. Heath told him to "quit being a cry baby" and he also put his hand over my sons mouth and told him to be quiet. I don't even touch my kids in the face for punishment in any way!! (Mind you, no one was allowed to go back with him) after my son told me what happened I called the office and the girl on the phone told me that "she wasn't in there so she didn't know what was said" and she told me to write a letter to dr. Heath about my concerns. Write a letter??? Really? Simple tooth extraction done on 2/24/16. This is my 7th adult tooth pulled so it's not my first rodeo. This is the first I had pulled with Dr. Heath. I don't have insurance so I was self pay. For xray, exam, and extraction my bill was 250 dollars. Staff was nice to me the day of my appointment. I left with no prescriptions and was instructed to take tylenol for pain. Once I got home and the numbing meds wore off I was in a lot of pain. I took tylenol around the clock. I kept waking up in pain that nigjt even dispite the fact that I took melatonin to help me sleep. I got up the next morning with a ton of pain and my face swolen some. I called Dr. Heaths office first thing that morning to ask if everything fine and to request pain medication. I was told that they would not give me any pain medication and suggested that I come back in. Coming back in was not an option because I do not have the 80 dollar exam fee since I just gave then 250 dollars the day before. The lady that I was speaking to was rude. She mentioned another cavity that could be the cause of pain.....yet Dr. Heath told me it wasn't bad enough to cause pain but I did need to address that issue in the near future before it got worse. She was basically blaming my pain on other things. So I reminded her that I had a tooth yanked out of my face just 1 day ago. This is the only tooth I have ever had pulled that they gave me no pain medication. It's cruel that I have to sit here miserable like this. I cannot take other over the counter pain meds due to a previous surgery I had. I am being forced to go to my primary care doctor to get pain management. The staff was nice when I was handing them 250 bucks but when it come to aftercare they were rude and showed no empathy at all. I understand there is a huge drug problem regarding prescription pain medication and maybe this is why I couldn't get them when I really needed them but not everyone abuses medication....some of us really need it. I will NOT be going back to Dr. Heath. Your responsibility as a Dr. Is to take care of your patients. I do not feel as though I have been taken care of. Bad customer service drives people away. Because of this bad customer service he is now without my family as his patients. He's probably never had teeth pulled and has no clue how bad it actually hurts. Very Professional and get the job done the 1st time.

I am self pay and needed a back tooth pulled. I went in and the staff was nice so was Dr.Heath.They did my xray and pulled the problem tooth. I was not sent home with antibiotics or pain medication. I was told to take Tylenol as needed I called to ask for pain meds since tylenol wasnt helping. They told me no.I'm glad they think teeth being pulled doesn't cause pain. I won't be going back. I'm not a pill head just someone in pain. They had no issue taking 250 bucks from me but now won't help
