Dr. David L Doering

This man not only knows what he’s doing he also does it with a level of care that is often hard to find. I have been very blessed to have such a thorough, considerate and caring doctor. The staff at Norton Hospital spoke highly of him as well.

Dr Doering did my high risk hysterectomy with placenta increta/percreta. He was very informative and took the time to answer my questions. This man saved my life I believe bc my hysterectomy was very high risk category. He was able to keep me stable the entire process. I was told by many that a c/hyst is very risky and that many complications can arise. I’m thankful he is such a talented physician and surgeon. He is a very kind man and gave me the assurance needed to ease my fears. His nurse Brenda is a very kind caring person too.

How this guy is a five star is beyond me. He's lucky I'm giving him even a one star. He has the worst bedside manners. Before surgery, he greeted me in a dirty red overstuffed jacket, jeans and cowboy boots. I was hooked up to the I.V.s and ready to go. I couldn't run if I had wanted too. This was the only time I saw him . He didn't even check me out of the hospital the next day. He had his PA do it. Also, he was supposed to give me a complete hysterectomy and take just a sample of my omentum. He removed the whole omentum laparoscopy style along with the my female organs. I now have tumors everywhere he made incisions. One of them sets right on top of my hiatal hernia above my belly button. When the surgery was fresh, the tumor was no bigger than a bee bee gun pellet. It is now about 3 to 4 inches. It blocks my ability to breathe and eat. It's very painful. Get this, they do not want to remove it though because is metastatic. Dr. Doering is wonderful. He performed a mass removal on me a few weeks ago. His demeanor and bedside manor is absolutely amazing. Im so impressed. He's been so helpful and takes his time with you as a patient. I would recommend him to anyone.
