Dr. Daniel Alan Belajic

Our family has been going to Dr Belajic for many years. He's great with adults, teens and kids. We've always had prompt service in Colfax and Auburn. He also takes the time to explain any conditions or conerns.

After the eye exam I purchased frames in their office and had the new prescription put in. The reading part was fine but the distance was blurry. After a second try to fix them, the glasses still did not work. Now the manager told me they can’t make me happy so I should go somewhere else. Didn’t even offer to have the Dr re- examine to see what the problem was. After almost $ 600 dollars, I still don’t have glasses that work! And the manager was rude and hung up on me!

Poor dr. If there is an issue dont count on him contacting you to solve the issue or hear your side or concerns he just listens to the lies of his lazy people in the auburn office that didnt do their jobs. They caused a big problem. Then this coward will send you a letter telling you he wont serve your needs. There are too many great dr’s out there to put up with this kind of treatment. Dont go here find another office for your eye care needs trust me this dr is no good.

He is the best. Always takes great care of me make sure my insurance covers all my needs. Test for glaucoma every year and cataracts. I have already had one cataract surgery and he says he would like to wait a year to do the other one.I love his mannerisms. Very kind but very direct. He will be retiring soon but I will be seeing his son there after

I have a lot of eyesight complications I'd hoped to address, including: chronic dry eyes, scarred cornea, astigmatism, anisometropia, etc. He was a poor fit for my needs. He'd denied my specialist request for a corneal doctor, which I got approved by a PCP instead. He tried saying I did not have dry eyes at all, which is incorrect. He also failed to warn me to test for glaucoma yearly, due to having unusually large optic nerves. If your eyesight needs are complicated, avoid this guy altogether!
