Cynthia Shaffer: She did not give any feedback about my symptoms or concerns and there was no expressed plan of action. Follow-up contact revealed that she either did not have my records forwarded or had not taken the time to review them. She also did not show any interest or take any initiative in helping me move forward with my care. She was very short, dismissive, and almost sarcastic in her responses to my concerns, questions, and requests. Making Appointment: Was initially told I would need to fill out and bring in a new patient request form just to make an appointment, but when I called a second time, they just made the appointment over the phone. Wait Time: Waited over an hour without being informed of what was happening. Nurse/Assistant/Phlebotomist: Nurse was very friendly and went out of her way to help. Unfortunately, the phlebotomist spoke openly about how she didn't want to have to get the COVID vaccine while drawing blood from another patient who was sitting there quietly. Privacy: I was told to sign the release that gives them financial compensation for sharing my health information after I had opted not to do so. Cynthia Shaffer is phenomenal! She is so sweet, with wonderful bedside manner. She is also extremely thorough, and takes the time to listen to you. I’ve had many bad experiences with doctors, so I feel like I hit the jackpot when I found her!
