Front desk staff can be polite and engaging, but more often engage in conversation about how “stupid” patients are, or other derogatory talk about the patients of the clinic. X-Ray techs are always wonderful. Kind, polite, funny and efficient. Nurses are hit or miss. One is excellent the other is a character pulled straight from a movie starring a disgruntled nurse. PA Nicole is excellent, and I haven’t been able to figure out how she tolerates working here. Weinstein himself first comes off as quirky but knowledgeable. He can spit out information about surgical options and post op protocols like a boss. What he can’t do is effectively listen to his patients, research something he is unsure about (check out the last time he published a research paper), or effectively/professionally communicate with his patients. Documents examinations that didn’t take place during the visit and will gladly speak to you in a condescending tone. Would benefit from a sabbatical & some soul searching.

Went in on a consult on my shoulder. I thought i had a torn shoulder the doctor indicated it was not torn but worn out and needed to be replaced.

Dr.Weinstein and his staff are professional and courtesy. Agelena at the front desk was so helpful she Is to be commended for her great customer service.

Very pleasant and professional staff. Dr. Weinstein was great. He told me like it is.. very helpful. His PA gave me an injection… it continues to be terrific!

Dr Weinstein is extremely knowledgeable and his office and staff are efficient and kind! He took great care of my son and his injury!

The staff was very nice and efficient and Dr Weinstein was very kind and explained everything in detail.

Very professional from the phones to the assistant to the physician. I have referred several Friends and Pickleball players to Dr. Weinstein, hoping my surgery goes as well.

My experience at Dr. Weinstein's office from walking in to walking out was excellent. I could not be more happy with my decision to see Dr. Weinstein for my shoulder pain. I would definitely recommend Dr. Weinstein to my family and friends.

My painful knee, hip, and leg problems persisted for a full year despite having been looked at by a number of specialists in several fields. My new PCP referred me to Dr. Weinstein who immediately identified the problem and prescribed a successful remedy. Many thanks to the Dr and his staff.

Yeah I should have read the previous reviews. They only want to do surgery. Cortisone? Nope. Drugs? No can do. Physical therapy? Not a chance bud. I spent $2,000 here and I have the same pain I stated with. Wouldn’t even give me an aspirin. Wouldn’t listen to anything I said. So sad that this is what this country has become. A cash machine for the rich, bleeding the life out of the poor. Off to Mexico for a $14 cortisone shot. Relief.

I appreciate the front staff, the radiologist, the intake nurse, Dr Weinstein, and all follow ups recommended. This is an amazing facility!

I would without question recommend anyone needing sports or non-sports related orthopedic surgery to Dr. Weinstein. Prior to my surgery, he spent a lot of time explaining my options to treat my rotator cuff, without being pushy. The procedure went well and the recovery is going well. People I have spoken with prior to and after the procedure have praised Dr. Weinstein's skills. And he has some very capable people on his clinical staff. To say I’m happy with Dr. Weinstein would be an understatement. When I went to see him for my Inital visit, I didn’t know what to expect, I had never hurt myself like this before (bicep tear) He not only reassured me that everything was going to be ok, he gave me all the options. I’ve never had surgery before and he made it sound like a breeze. He told me he could get my arm back to the way it was and after 16 weeks, I’m practically there. 10/10 experience from the first call to schedule an appt to checking out! Spoke with Marissa in the front office and she was able to get us in as soon as possible, she even saved us time by sending us the registration forms prior to checking in. My boyfriend (the patient) got x-rays with Aubrey (who was extremely welcoming and attentive to where the pain was). Dr.Weinstein was able to review the images prior to meeting us in the room. Monica was super friendly and professional and went over his injury and medical history. Quickly after Dr.Weinstein came in and was very thorough and was able to get us an ultrasound IN OFFICE ! Though it was my first visit to Doctor Weinstein's office I was impressed with how little time it took for me to sign in and called back to see the doctor. A nurse came into my assigned room and took some information, check my vitals and as she left Dr. Weinstein's assistant came in and went over x-rays and MRI with me and explaining the findings as well as answering questions. A few minutes after she left Doctor Weinstein came in and asked if I had any questions, of which I had quite a few. He was very caring and courteous. I could not have asked for a better experience here. I recommend this place 100% for any orthopedic surgery. I tore my quad attempt to squat 650lbs in a powerlifting competition. The staff at SOS got me in and out faster than I would have anywhere else. I got an MRI scheduled the same day as my initial appointment, and a surgery within ~2 weeks, even around the Thanksgiving holiday Dr. Weinstein is everything I wanted in my surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and to the point. He won’t lie to you or beat around the bush. He gave me the pros and cons of surgery and the possible outcomes with the various choices I had. The surgery itself was very successful and I am nearly back to where I was. He has taken the extra steps to make sure I get back to my goals of squatting heavy again and not stopping at “it’s good enough”. He treated me like a powerlifter and never once suggested that I should give up on squatting, which was incredibly helpful mentally, especially right after the injury.

I had surgery the end of June 2020 to remove bone spurs, osteo arthritis and rotator cuff repair (left shoulder) I took 30 days off from my housekeeping job and have been gaining strength and mobility ever since! This week Dr. Weinstein said I could graduate from Phys Therapy whenever I chose. So, many kudos to the Phys Therapy (Foothills Sports Medicine) staff AND especially Dr. Weinstein whose staff has been totally supportive as well as the good Doctor himself!

Be careful with the office personal need surgery the office wanted 675.00 up front so I called my insurance found out it was covered 100 percent still can't figure out the 675.00

I had 2 worn out elbows from 40 years of hard work, plus painful tendinitis. I had been to other specialist who did not make that right diagnosis. Dr. Weinstein's practice is efficient, thorough with excellent service. He has a great team and staff. Dr. Weinstein's approach is conservative yet exact.

Had my first appt with Dr Weinstein for knee damage. Surgery is the last thing he wants to do. Cortisone injection with PT 3 times a week till follow up appt in 4 weeks. Like the fact surgery is last resort with him. Very friendly, had a great conversation with him having nothing to do with my knee. Looking forward to my next appt.

The MPFL surgery on my knee done by Dr Weinstein failed, and now I'm starting again from scratch after never fully having recovered.

Mr Weinstein would not do thing for you if it does not make him most money, even if this is the best option for your health. Buck trumps your health with Mr W. That's my opinion.

Went to Dr Weinstein due to shoulder pain. He took x-rays and then an ultra sound. After review of the ultra sound he told me I needed an complete shoulder replacement due to severe arthritis, bursitis and a tear. A surgery date was scheduled. Fortunately for me my insurance company realized that they had sent me to Dr Weinstein in error as he was not on my plan. I had to go to another orthopedic surgeon but took all my records from Dr Weinstein with me. My new doctor reviewed Dr Weinstein's finding and ordered an MRI on the shoulder. The result of the MRI showed that I had minimal arthritis and a small tear which he feels can be corrected with cortizone shots and physical therapy and if that does not work by minimal arthroscopic surgery. I was very lucky not to have had unnecessary major surgery. I would advise a second opinion before undergoing surgery with DR Weinstein Went to Dr Weinstein due to shoulder pain. I am what you would call an "active adult." (Much nicer than saying mature person whose joints have worn out.) My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Weinstein and PA Nicole D'Apice for a few years. Dr Weinstein has repaired my torn tendons ligaments imcluding, a hamstring and elbows and has done partial replacemements on both of my knees. He is an Excellent surgeon with the Best bedside manner. He's never in a hurry and will explain the problem so you understand. I have seen Nicole for pre and post-op appointments and have found her to be skilled and always very friendly. We do not hesitate to see Nicole of the doctor isn't available. The office is clean and comfortable and all the staff: Lisa, Erlinda, Amber, Heather and the X-ray Tech (can't remember her name, sorry) are all pleasant and welcoming. I tore my hamstring back in April and Dr. Weinstein's office was awesome getting me in to be seen and have the MRI. Follow up appointments have been excellent as well. The office is clean and modern; staff are professional and kind and Dr. Weinstein is honest and upfront. Great ortho to see!

Dr. Weinstein performed rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder. I found his office to be very professional, efficient and just plain nice. Dr. Weinstein was very thorough and easy to speak with. He answered all my questions and explained my conditions and my options. We tried different avenues of solving the problem before I finally decided to have surgery. I have referred many friends to him and will continue to do so.

Dr. Weinstein and his staff are super. He is an excellent surgeon. Having a partial knee replacement was not as bad as anticipated. He and Nicole explained everything before hand, had me attend a pre surgery class at the hospital on the surgery. I recovered very fast, with the help of the machines he recommends you use at home, PT and the anti gravity running machine, along with my pre surgery leg muscle exercises. Dr. Weinstein answered every question I had and took time to listen. Great Doctor

He is an excellent MD, and has provided me excellent care for a shoulder dislocation surgery and sports related injuries. He has a very nice practice and his team are very good and efficient. I highly recommend them

5 years ago Dr. Weinstein repaired 2 tears in my rotator cuff. 5 years later, I am still very happy with results! I have since visited his office for other orthopedic problems, including recent wrist surgery. I have always felt like he and Nicole (his PA) treated me with courtesy and respect and they were always willing to answer all questions. I know of several people who have also reported positive experiences with Dr. Weinstein.

I went to Dr. Weinstein after a poor experience at The Core. I had a torn labium in my hip according to the MRI. When seeing Dr. Weinstein the first time he was very detailed and conservative. He insisted on additional test to ensure I truly had a tear. Unlike so many surgeons he treated surgery as a last resort. The additional test were done timely and when surgery was needed I was scheduled quickly. The post-op care was also amazing!

Staff is nice,offices are very nice and quite inviting, waited a fair amount of time see Dr Weinstein. Dr Weinstein could work a little on his bedside manner and approach as he isn't particularly friendly or down to earth.

I highly recommend Dr. Weinstein & his staff for those requiring orthopedic services because everyone is friendly, keeping me informed about my status, as well as providing help with paperwork. Dr. Weinstein offers viable solutions during the time of my visits, offering pros and cons to options he suggests. When I leave the office, I am satisfied with the outcome of my visit, knowing that the staff and Dr. Weinstein have attended to my healthcare needs. He also has a good sense of humor!

52 year old male with a trashed left shoulder. Rotator cuff and a number of other issues. Dr. Weinstein presented all options before surgical intervention, most of which I had tried before I went to see him. Long involved surgery, but great outcome. Back to working out regularly. Very open and attentive on follow up visits. Office staff are great to deal with too. Highly recccomend him.

Initial surgery went well. Long delay in healing. Went in second surgery to remove stitches not dissolving. Ended up going to a plastic surgeon to remove the stitches he supposedly removed during 2nd surgery after 10mos at wound heal clinic.

Dr Weinstein has repaired both my meniscus and Tenex procedure he has repaired a hip tendon. He has always shown great care and compassion. He takes the time to explain my injuries and the surgical procedure involved. The Staff is always friendly and helpful. Always had minimal wait time. Appointments are easy and convenient. Xray, ultasound and therapy doctors and staff are all excellent. I highly recommend.

I have seen several doctors in the Phoenix area. Of them all dr Weinstein and his staff far exceeded my expectations. The treatment , the communications and all the support from everyone involved was far above anything I have had in the past. Saw Dr. Weinstein for torn menisis (double). I initially met with his PA who ordered x-rays and MRIs; upon finding that I required surgery I met Dr. Weinstein who, even though the surgery had already been explained to me by the PA, took his time and went over the procedure again, making sure that any questions I had were addressed. He took the time I needed as a patient, and is very friendly.

Stay away does not listen and would not listen to concerns with swollen red knee after meniscal surgery resulted in wife nearly losing her leg from MRSA infection. Not only missed infection but misdiagnosed. End up with knee resection meaning cut off lower 6 inch of femur and now can not run 2 years later
