Clinton Michael Ray

I have been seeing Dr Ray for my knees for at least 3 years. My cartlidge in my knees are worn pretty bad. With his guidance and some injections i actually thru hiked the appalchian trail in 2022. I could not be more grateful to him. I highly recommend Dr. Ray????

Had complete knee surgery done by Dr Ray in Oct 2016 and April 2017, I must say that due to the Dr's skill at his kraft and the follow up rehab/physical therapy, years later and I get around pain free and am super happy with the results.

Went for a visit scheduled for 3. Was not seen until after 5. Was given a steroid shot I had prior for other reasons. Told Dr., those shots do not work on me. Ignored what I said and gave me shot anyway. I am in more pain now than when I arrived. I have already let some friends and family know to not go to him

Ray was very rude!! I came to “Dr.” Ray because it was a closer drive instead of going to Andrew Sports and Medicine which was a huge mistake switching! I already knew I had hyper mobility in my shoulder and had been hurting a lot. I went to Ray about 6 times and the last visit he basically said I was faking and they’re was nothing he could do. if your looking for a good doctor go to Andrew sports and medicine because they actually care about you!

Dr. Ray has performed two knee replacements on me and I had no problems. He is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor. Always friendly and will speak no matter where you see him. I 100% would refer anyone to use him as a doctor.

His staff and Dr Ray are the sweetest and I never waited long . Also have physical therapy in the same building . I would definitely recommend using him !

I feel I am much worse after surgery; there is certainly much more pain and less mobility. I do NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Ray.

I feel Dr. Ray's surgery did much damage to my knee. It is much more painful, and I am less able to walk.

Dr Ray has completed 2 procedures for me, bicep repair and knee repair. He is a great surgeon. His office staff is not up to par! Due to payment being due prior to sugary, I over paid $600, I have been trying to get a refund for over 5 months. Refund still not made after multiple attempts to contact the office manager. Dr Ray did a total knee replacement on me a few days ago as an outpatient. I am walking and it’s only the third day. I highly

Rude with no bedside manner. Would not recommend.

I was charged $200 (out of pocket) for a brace that costs $43.95 at Walmart. I was also told that the price could be around $83 (still way over priced), but that it could end up being $200 on the high end. Of course the brace ended up being $200, and I wasn’t informed of the actual cost until after the brace was placed on my knee and I was walking out of the door. Other than the people working the reception desk, the employees were not welcoming at all. I will not refer anyone here, nor will I ever go back. BEWARE!! He is HORRIBLE!! Misdiagnosed and did surgery that left my hand disabled!! I now have to have another surgery to fix it!! I got copies of my records and almost everything he wrote was FALSE!! I got a serious infection after the surgery and was so scared I would lose my finger, but he never wrote any of the problems I had , into my file. Probably because if I decided to take him to Court everything He had in my file looked like all was just fine when in fact it was the opposite!! Do Not Use This DOCTOR!!!!

Dr Ray is a very caring doctor. You are not rushed and he answers any questions you have. He has been voted best overall orthopedic surgeon in Calhoun County in the past. You can’t beat Dr. Ray if you need surgery and if you need physical therapy, the office is in the same building.

4 days after my knee replacement I am walking without a walker, thank you Dr Ray

Excellent surgeon, great bedside manner, cares deeply about his patients and their well being. I have had multiple surgeries performed by Dr Ray and will be undergoing total knee replacement in a couple of months. I know I am in great hands with Dr Ray and his physical therapy staff. His office staff is awesome and have been very helpful in resolving issues with insurance regarding my injections. Office environment is very comfortable with short wait times unless Dr Ray is held up in surgery.

Dealing my sons broken arm Dr Ray is always late. We always are scheduled for the first appointment and end up waiting 45 minutes to be seen. We along with 5 or 6 other people are his first appointment. I would not recommend Dr Ray

Doctor Ray asked me to trust him to get me back to full health with my right foot arch. I told him I trusted him. He sent me to Fit Feet in Oxford and the Doctor there made me some shoe inserts and I feel like a new man. Thanks Dr. Ray and Fit Feet.

Dr. Ray maybe a talented and adept orthopedic surgeon, but his receptionist, or whomever it is who answers the phone and gives out information, leaves a lot to be desired. The person with whom I spoke, to put it graciously, gave me misinformation, twice, when I called to ask some questions. Educate your staff.

Great doctor! Caring and compassionate but he does expect and demand full compliance with instructions. Wonderful bedside manner and sense of humor. Very friendly and knowledgeable office staff. Very comfortable office environment with easy parking. I have referred several friends to Dr Ray and they have all been pleased. I have been his patient for 10 years and would recommend him to anyone.

Worst experience ever. My husband had knee replacement surgery with him a year ago and his knee is worse than before surgery. Dr. Ray specifically told us that he knew it wasnt right but didnt really know what to do to fix it and pretty much told us to go find another doctor. In order to get his medical records, they want to charge us a $1.00/page and his office staff is as rude as they come. While talking to his clerk, she hung up on me. I would NOT recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

After I fell and broke my leg, I went to RMC and Dr. Ray was on call. I had heard how Dr. Ray was very direct, so I wasn't sure I would like him. I was very happy with him and the way he addressed not just me but my family and all of our questions. Over the weeks of follow up care and coming to his office, I saw that he was not one to sugar coat and lie to his patients. I would recommend Dr. Ray without a doubt. Great surgeon!

Absolutely wretched. Ignored calls while On Call, lied about it, blamed it on the nurses, and was found to be lying. When I was in UNSPEAKABLE agony after surgery, he told me to put on my big girl panties and refused to up my meds, balled up his little fists in anger, and kept trying to leave before finishing his rounds. Worst bedside manner I've ever seen.
