Dr. Christopher E Noonan

My physically disabled child (17) saw “doctor” Noonan for a consult regarding their wisdom teeth needing removed. Said child can and did speak for themselves the entire time while I was on the phone with another medical professional (par for the course with disability needs). Not once did he express concern on if he’d be able to do the procedure or show any issue with my being on hold most of the time. Then I got a call the next day from the office manager stating that he refused to work with us because *I* wasn’t participating. The patient was, and I was available if it was necessary. They’ll be 18 in four months... So instead of calling or stating any concerns himself, he had his office manager “handle” me because of his ableism. Ableism isn’t cute or professional.

While they were able to get me (back) in for an emergency visit after they did some major surgery then due to chronic infections in the same area. Doctor Noonan is a childish, unprofessional, poor attempt at a surgeon. I am shocked that this guy is not under disciplinary action! My re-visit was just last week (right in the middle of the COVID 19 pandemic). During my time there he was telling stories, making fun of patients and even JOKING about someone (killing themselves). Comments were heard with him being very condescending about sanitary efforts to guard against Covid. He came into my room making snide remarks about basic safety protocol. His nurse was a (follower) and fell into all the childish antics he was exuding. He failed to anesthetize properly either by lack of knowledge or simply not caring. His only comment when finished was that he made sure THEY did nothing wrong during the previous surgery. The pain I experienced was excruciating! I will not go back!
