Terrible rude dr. If he's yours, good luck but find a new one asap

I've been with Dr. Kolbay and the Fonda Clinic for 5 years and have to disagree with all of the above comments. Overworked, yet but that fault lies in Washington. From Louis and Nurse Alice at the front desk and Nurses Dawn and Janet in the back, I look forward to the one-hour drive from Cobleskill as opposed to the one-hour drive to Albany. Dr. Kolbay always spends as much time as needed with my aging body and mind. I have Medicare Advantage but prefer the care I get from the VA in Fonda. Stratton is much more impersonal but it is a bit larger and covers a huge area..

Grumpy ole guy with patient overload - Once one has settled the fact that you are a veteran, and Kolbay is obligated to treat you with respect, there is no question this guy knows his business - I believe he is over-worked and short tempered, and so am I - -

Will NEVER go back

Kolbay refused to fill my hypertension meds.
