Dr. Laplante is always a very caring physician who truly listens to her patients and sincerely cares about your health. She engages in real conversations with you for your health needs. You're definitely not just another number, she truly cares about you and your health. She was our family physician for over 25 years and treated three generations. Wish she was still practicing in Gresham.

In response the the 'Smarter G' in Winchester Bay, OR... I think you have the wrong MD listed here that you gave a poor review on. First, Dr. Tidball-LaPlante works in the Gresham/Portland OR area. Second, Dr. Tidball-LaPlante is a family practice physician. She does not place pacemakers (or perform surgery). That would be a cardiologist. She may have referred you to a Cardiologist who made this recommendation, but she herself would not do that. Dr. Tidball-LaPlante was our family physician for years and provided excellent medical care for our entire family. She took the time to actually listen to her patients. She has a primary focus on patient self-responsibility, and making positive changes in your life to improve your over all well being. She is a very proactive physician. If anything, she cares about her patients to a fault! Which does mean sometimes she is running behind, because she takes the time to listen to her patients, even if it takes a little longer!

the doctor almost put up pacemaker in me thank goodness I went to another physician and got a second opinion just changed my blood pressure medicine and dr. LaPlante knew for a whole year about my blood pressure issue and cancelled a surgery because of it and I'm all good no pacemaker new blood pressure medicine and new doctor.
