Saw Dr Frank with Advocate Medical Group over six month ago for a major Dupuytren contracture on my left hand. At that time he just looked at it and did not recommend any treatment. I had to raised to him the possible treatments with included the a Xiaflex injection or surgery. He dismissed the treatments and said come back in six months and then we could do or consider one of these treatments. Two weeks ago I received a call from Advocate to come back. I made an appointment and went to see Dr Frank who did NOTHING! When I pushed for the Xiaflex injection the nurse who was with us, said that Xiaflex was not covered by my insurance and therefore they could not help me. Basically Frank and his office just wanted to get the insurance claim of the extra visit knowing that they were not going to do anything to address the contracture on my hand. I saw Dr. Frank for pain in my wrist from a fall. Xrays discovered a bone in my hand had broken, with a chip floating. He recommended surgery to reattach. I had just started a new job, so delayed the decision for a month. When I returned, he recommended physical therapy (for a broken bone & chip?) instead. Even the therapist was confused by that order. After therapy, I returned without relief from pain and Dr. Frank recommended surgery again, but this time to excise the bone fragment! CONFUSING!

I went to Dr. Frank to have a ganglion cyst removed. He was very pleasant, extremely kind, and explained what he was going to do. Took very good care of me and would highly recommend Dr. Frank.
