Very professional and friendly atmosphere... Procedures are explained first and any questions are answered....Staff is well trained and very nice....i would highly recommend Dr Dematte and his staff to anybody

All of the staff was super friendly. Dr. Dematte was very kind and did great with my son. He also makes sure to go over everything he is going to do before doing anything.

If you are looking for a dentist that takes children, the medical card, emergency appointments, or even just a general dentist, I suggest Dr. Dematte! I took my eight year old daughter to this office today following a horrible experience at another dentist so needless to say she was scared. We saw Mary the hygienist and then Dr Dematte and they were both amazing. They made her feel comfortable and at ease. All of the staff are super nice and he is so gentle with the kids and even tells "bad dad jokes" ???? When it was time to tell me her options, he involved me all the way and told me what he recommended and that it was final say and nothing would be done without me. He even sent her to the treasure chest to pick something out while he told me what was going on in case there was any bad news that she would be scared to hear. By the time we left she told me she is not afraid anymore and can't wait to go back to the dentist! I will recommend this office to anyone and everyone! Ive always had a wonderful experience with Dr Dematte! He was my dentist as a child and as an adult also & he’s always made me feel very comfortable. The staff is amazing & Tina is awesome! She always makes me have a great time when I’m at the office ! I recommend ????????????????????????????????????????

So, I hadn’t been to a dentist in almost 25 years. I hated going to the dentist so much that if I got a tooth ache, I would just pull the tooth out myself. My wife finally talked me in to going to see Dr. Dematte. Against my better judgement, I went. I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the dentist and his staff were. They were very welcoming, polite and gentle. The poor hygienist had 20 plus years of build up to clean off of my teeth. Painless!! They definitely just got a new patient for life!! The best dentist experience I've ever had!

Everyone there was so kind! My 3 children and I had a wonderful experience for our first visit. We have had a lot of bad experiences in the past with other dentists, they made us feel very welcome. Super friendly!

I’ll give them five stars plus very friendly very polite he gets right down to business and tells you how it is down to earth I definitely recommend him he is very patient with youI am glad I have him for a dentist

I will start off with the employees are amazing people. But this man has ruined my life. Everything he did I had to have another dentist fix. Now after just a few years all the work he has done has broke or has broken. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone

My daughter had a fear of the dentist after her last experience at place insurance had referred us to. I’ve always gone to dr. Dematte and have had no problems but had been awhile since I have been able to go myself. Thankfully he was able to get my kids in as new patients and change their opinion about being fearful of going to the dentist! Staff was all polite and very explanatory. Staff was super nice and dematte was very good with my 3year old

I take my two boys to Dr. Dematte. They really like him. He always makes them smile with his corny jokes. They really like the hygienist, Miss Tina. I've known Dr. Dematte since the 80's and have always had good service with his office.

I've always disliked going to the dentist, detested it in fact. But dr.dematte's office and staff were inviting and wonderful. The hygienist and the Dr were both very HELPFUL in explaining everything. Highly recommend. Take yourself, take your kids! He's got an arsenal of the best jokes!

I have a lot of anxiety around the dentist and I was nervous to go but the staff was very friendly, and the doctor was thorough and great. He had some funny jokes as well and it made the experience so much easier. I have a follow-up appointment in two weeks. I won't be worried on my next visit now. Thank you!

Took my 2 children to Dr. Dematte for an initial visit. The Dental Assistance Tina was absolutely amazing with my kids. They even want to go back. And Dr. Dematte i great.

Dr. Dematte and all of his staff are amazing! We took out 3 year old daughter there for her first dental visit and they went above and beyond to make notnonly her but us feel at ease! They were playful but professional and very informative through out the entire process!

Took both my kids to dr Dematte and they really like him previously we went to complete dental and between the 2 dr Dematte is 100 times better he actually talks to the kids plays around with them and tells me everything that is going on definitely had a great first experience

I first me Dr. Dematte about five years ago, I was new to the area and needed an emergency dental appointment. A friend recommended Dr. Dematte to me, they got me in the next morning and did great work. Since then I keep going back because it’s actually an enjoyable experience, historically I hated the dentist. The dental hygienist are AMAZING, they are always so friendly. I had to schedule an appointment for my rambunctious 19 month old & ended up taking him to Dr. Dematte in bridgeport. What a good experience!! He let me go in the exam room, sit in the chair, and lay my son on my shoulder. He talked to him for like a minute & actually got my son to open his mouth, lay still & let him examine his teeth, totally surprised me bc I figured we'd literally have to hold him down. He explained everything to me in an understanding way, and gave me my options. His entire staff was sweet and they even gave my son a teddy bear when we left. I will be taking him again. Dr.Dematte has been amazing every single time we go see him. My kids have been going to him since they were toddlers and are now in their teens. His staff is amazing as well.

The doctor and his staff were the most courteous polite fun bunch you could ever ask for in a dentist office. For one Tina is amazing. The staff all are. My kids, even the baby, feels at ease. The dentist is very friendly and does amazing work. Did a drilling on my 6 year old daughter without any funny gas she was completely awake and he kept her at ease. Never met a dentist this amazing.

First time to visit this dental office and I can tell you hands down I have an over active three year old and the staff and dr was not only very patient with my son but beyond words how amazing they were . After my horrible experience with complete dental care I was a little leery of going to another dentist that accepted medicaid. However, Dr. Dematte and his staff exceeded my expectations. They were all so very kind and great with my children which is more than i can ask for. He was very thorough and seemed to genuinely care. I had an awesome visit today at Dr. dematte's office. The staff is so friendly, they really made me feel at home and took my fear of the dentist away! Honestly it just made my day better :) I highly recommend these wonderful people !

I have a sister who is mentally disabled and has not had good experiences at the dentist. Dr Dematte and his staff has changed all that. Lisa got her teeth cleaned and a week later a small filling. It was a great experience for her and a happy day for me.

The office staff were friendly and professional. They readily made you feel comfortable. Tina, who did the cleaning, was very knowledgeable and did educate you as she performed her job. The doctor was exceptional in his through exam and explained everything to you and allowed the patient to ask any questions that you may have.

The dentist and staff at the Yorkville office are amazing! Dr. DeMatte cracks me up, has a new joke to tell at every visit!???? The dental work is great, the hygienist, Tina is so easy to talk to!

So far no problems this go-around. Took my little sister there because she needed to see somebody ASAP, and he did very well with her freaking out whilst he was trying to examine her. He did extremely well with my son also!

Dr Dematte is well experienced and he is a very very nice doctor he tells u to tell him if you feel pain and he will stop and put some more Novacaine in so you don’t feel the pain he was always my favorite doctor even when I was a little kid he can be trusted I never once trusted a doctor besides him even when I was a little kid

Great dentist. Explains everything thoroughly and is honest with you. Only does stuff that you need done, and doesn't bully you into procedures that you don't need. Highly recommend

Don't let dematt work on your small child He may seem honest, but I have found out, he is very dishonest beware! Don't take a child there... My child had an infection after he drilled out a filling, and covered it up, got another infection, he said it couldn't be pulled out lie.. he tried to fill it again, my child wouldn't let him,so we left ,Called Hines Little Smiles one look at him, and it was considered a medical emergency. He had surgery . HINES SAVED MY CHILD FROM FUTURE INFECTION, BY PULLING OUT AN ABSESSED TOOTH THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PULLED TO BEGIN WITH. Dr. Dematte is very gentle, goes over everything he plans on doing and shows you with a mirror where the problems are. He is honest about what needs done and not just about getting more money. His prices are reasonable. Staff is wonderful as well!

Dematte was a wonderful experience. He had to break terrible news to me and he did it in the most amazing/professional way. He has true concern for his patients. His staff was nice and made the wait comfortable.

I am terrible at keeping track of appointments and apologized at the front desk when I missed and appointment and told the receptionist that I was bad at keeping track of things and she asked if I wanted her to call and remind me the day before or the morning of the appointment and I said that would be awesome and she calls me and it has been very helpful to me. The Dr. is a funny guy and is always is a great mood. I am a 31 year old female and had a front tooth that broke off and he bonded it back on for me. I have an overbite and tongue thrust that has knocked the bonding loose twice now and he fixed it both times and given me recommendations on things to do to help. I have always had great experiences with the staff and Dr. DeMatte. I have also used both locations of practice and really like both places. No complaints ever. Even when they are packed and backed up, the staff is ALWAYS very nice and helpful. Dr. DeMatte is very compassionate and thorough. I will not use another dentist.

My tooth had absolute intense pain. After seeing many, Dematte had my appointment in a timely manner and my tooth feels beyond better. My wife and I were blown away by how great the staff was and friendly!! I would very highly recommend his services to everybody!
