I was seen by Roseann Maikis, I let her know the complications I was having. She did a very fast paced ultrasound to see if I had cysts. She says she didn't see anything, I sent her nurse FMLA paperwork, I paid for the forms to be completed. The nurse informed me that FMLA would only be approved for surgeries. I did not get a refund ????. I went to see another doctor because as a black woman I had a feeling that Dr. Maikis wasn't going to listen to me. I did find another doctor and the new doctor found an adnexal mass on my fallopian tubes. Dr. Maikis was a horrible listener, and she is not thorough at all.

Where do I even begin. Notice how all of the bad reviews are mostly about the staff, not the actual providers. It’s true. The staff here is awful, incompetent, unempathetic, rude, and a bunch of grown Mean Girls. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Reynolds on and off for 20 years. She really cares about her patients and is a lovely doctor. It’s unfortunate she won’t clean house with her staff. Laura Crawford and Lauren Cannon are major problems at this practice. Lauren yelled at me, hung up in my face, and is discriminatory toward patients of a certain hue. Her boss, Laura, supports This discrimination. In addition, there have been at least three times— one following a hospital visit— where I could not get my medicine because of the Mean Girl clique of nurses. Nurses have outright not returned calls, failed to call in prescriptions, called in prescriptions wrong, and flat out ignored me as someone with chronic pain. I do not use the word hate because it’s too strong of a word, but I truly loathe the staff of nurses at this practice.

Very impersonal. I waited an hour before I even saw Dr. Thornburg and she didn’t seem to know any knowledge about my history. She gave information about trying to have a baby with “my partner” which I do not have nor am I looking to have children. She never took any of my concerns seriously, which I had mentioned multiple times prior till seeing her now, to finally get a solution. And even with that she did not have time to complete at this appointment she said, while having me sit and wait for an hour to even see her. She didn’t take my concern’s seriously so for over a year I’ve been dealing with this issue because she couldn’t take the time to give it any attention. Then I was told she is unavailable for several months in order to solve this problem that wasn’t given any attention at all until now which I had to repeatedly mention for her to acknowledge. So now going near 2 years of little too no assistance. I hope young women in similar situations don’t have to go through this. Our concerns should get acknowledged and not have a physician rush in and out making you feel like nothing and that your concerns mean nothing. I will be looking for a new gynecologist. It’s just sad Healthcare is becoming harder and harder to rely on for actual assistance.

Dr. Thornburg is extremely unprofessional. She spends most of the time during appointments complaining about her own problems or about other patients. I could hear her in the hallway complaining about other patients before walking in the room. My appointments were rushed, and she failed to document/remember what we discussed. I would return for a test that she had told me to get, and there would be no orders or documentation of it. On multiple occasions, she forgot to call in prescriptions for me and schedule an induction. Luckily, I went into labor naturally. I heard my nurses talking about having problems getting in touch with her on the day I went labor. When she did show up, she acted annoyed and asked “what happened?” Due to her lack of attention, I had unnecessary complications with retained products after delivery. I had a really good nurse who noticed the issue and addressed it. When Dr. Thornburg rounded on me for discharge, she essentially blamed me for having the issue.

Dr. Thornburg is the most thoughtful and compassionate doctor I have ever met. Dr. Thornburg delivered the worst possible news - you have of Endometrial Cancer but she delivered the news in such a compassionate heartfelt way. I will always be grateful for that compassion. I wish I had found Dr. Thornburg earlier in my search for answers as why I was not feeling good. If I had, the news might not have been so bad. Forever grateful for her quick diagnoses and finally getting me on the road to fighting this awful best called cancer. Without her quick diagnoses I would not still be here. Dr. Thornburg made is possible to meet and spend time with my first grandchild. Dr. Thornburg is my my medical angel. Dr. Thornburg is the most thoughtful and compassionate doctor I have ever met. I have worked with Dr Thornburg and been her patient for over 26 years. She is very professional and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my care. She delivered my daughter at 34.5 weeks when I was experiencing a very terrible pregnancy and I am not sure I would have lived through it without Dr Thornburg. Now that my daughter is of an age to see her own GYN, she chooses to see Dr Thornburg as well! She takes an interest in her patients and it is obvious that she loves what she does! I have never encountered a single staff member at her office that wasn’t kind and courteous, including Dianne who is always friendly. I have never walked out of an office feeling so heard and reassured. Dr. Amanda Manceau did not rush me, listened to my medical concerns, and immediately put together an extremely proactive plan of action to solve them. The front desk and lab staff were both extremely nice too.

Dr. Binkley is the best doctor in the world. She delivered my second child via VBAC and delivered my twins via c section. She’s so relatable, likable and I feel so comfortable and cared for with her. The entire staff is amazing. I felt like I was the only patient there during my pregnancies. I have never had another doctors office make me feel the way they do. Dr thornburf was rough with the Pap smear and then made a comment “we aren’t 14 are we?” She was so rude and her nurse Diane tried to scare me about having a baby when I was 38. She said “do you want a baby with Down syndrome?” Wow. Don’t go to this doctor for any reason.

The absolute WORST person to go to for anything honestly. I have never in my life been so disgusted by how she treated my sister when she went to see her yesterday. She continued to throw low blows at her about her weight during the entire appointment to the point where my sister was in tears as she left. As soon as my sister walked in and told her about the issues she was having she looked at her chart and said “it’s you’re weight. you’re not exactly small” and continued to make those snide comments throughout the entire thing. I would never recommend someone like this.

My daughter went to see this dr for birth control and to be tested for std’s because she had unprotected sex. This dr had the nerve to tell her that there was no reason to test her because she didn’t SEE anything wrong!! There are many stds you cannot SEE!! She also proceeded to tell her that the reason she suffers from endometriosis and migraines is because she is overweight! She has had these issues since she was a teenager weighing 115lbs. This is not ok. My daughter wanted a hormone free birth control option and all she recommended was the nuvoring. All she cared about was my daughters weight.

So far the best experience I've had during this pregnancy. From the initial call with Charlotte to the end of my 1st appointment with Dr. Binkley! Everyone here seems to enjoy what they do and take the time to listen to your needs. When I 1st called I was so upset over countless bad experiences at my current doctor's office. Charlotte helped me calm down and get a quick appointment with Dr. Binkley. I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant with twins and was panicking about changing doctors so late but I'm so happy I did. When I went in for my 1st appointment I got to meet Charlotte and she actually remembered our conversation. Shes extremely personable and it made me feel 100% better about my decision. Dr. Binkley made an amazing 1st impression too. She's very friendly and caring. I'm so happy I made this change. Looking forward to finishing this journey surrounded by happy professionals! Dr. Thornburg is quite rude. Her nurse, Diane, hates everyone! Don’t ask her any questions because she will make you feel like an idiot. They both need to retire! I’m never going back!

Dr. Thornburg is a horrible doctor. My first visit with her she didn't stop talking long enough to hear what I had to say. Being my fourth baby by now I know my body and just needed her to listen. I suffer from hyperemesis garvadium. When I went to see her a second time her response to me saying I was always sick and getting a little depressed (knowing I said I have a history of depression) her response was "well you decided to go through with this fourth pregnancy" like I'm supposed to kill my baby because I'm sick. She's rude, she didn't try to come to resolve regarding my issues and needs, she doesn't listen, and very unprofessional. I don't know how well the rest of the office is but she ruined it enough where I just decided to go to a different doctor in a different office. Dr. Thornburg is a horrible doctor. She is smart and thorough. I have been to her over the last 15 years. I appreciate her analysis and recommendations. She will push for tests when there is doubt.

Dr. Thornburg spent less than 5 minutes with me during my appointment today. She was in such a hurry to see other patients, that she barged in while I was getting redressed, AND STAYED! She proceeded to shove an informative document at me while I was trying to get my clothes on and left the room to see other patients. It wasn’t even a busy day at the office! Terrible bedside manner. Didn’t take the time to listen to me or my concerns. I would have zero confidence in her delivering my child.

If its your first time at this clinic , give it time. The receptionest are nice. Dr.Thronburg is a sweet lady ,down to earth and blunt. She didnt give up on finding out what was wrong with me, she set me up with a surgery date and before I went into surgery she wanted me to do a final ultrasound just to be more sure about what procedure would be best for me. I love her. She's been my doctor for over 15 years, delivered all 3 of my children, and is always available when I need her. She's blunt and she doesn't sugar coat it. That can be offensive to some people, but when it comes to my health, I'd prefer the straight forward.

She was an incredible doctor. Found out the causes of my miscarriages and found what the problem. Before I met her I went to several doctor who guessed at what I could have. She took care of the problem and within a month we were able to not only get pregnant but have a smooth pregnancy and an amazing delivery. We're so grateful and happy to have found her. Horrible experiences here. I’ll never go back. The nurse, Diane, is so moody and hateful. She makes you feel like an idiot if you ask any questions. Thornburg doesn’t have good bedside manner. Time to retire! I’ll be finding a new OBGYN.

Dr. Thornburg is a great doctor. She explains information well, gives great advice and keeps it "real". I've had several doctors, but she is the best! She solved my problems when no other doctor could. Thanks Dr. Thornburg!

I really like Dr. Thornburg as my everyday Doctor. I've never had a bad experience with her. Her NURSE is another story. She is so cold and rude and makes you feel like a child. Every time, I want to walk out after dealing with her. My last visit, I was sitting in the room waiting on the Doctor and she asked me why I was even here if I was off of the medication causing me issues. Excuse me? I'm having an issue I would like the doctors knowledge about. I'm switching doctors solely because of her.

The slowest Dr office I've been to; always running behind at least an hour. Multiple people are asking about the wait time and we all keep being told it'll be just a few minutes. This has happened on every visit. At least my wife seems to like the Dr.

Dr.Thorngurg is an excellent Doctor!. She takes the time to listen, then explaines in a clear and easy way, any medical procedures or concerns. She treats her patients with great care, concern and respect. I highly recommend her as an OB GYN. ????

This is the worst Doctor in the universe.She doesn't have a little bit of manner/care.She never even came to visit me after I have had a complicated delivery.She is so very rude towards everyone.I wouldn't recommend anyone to have her as a doctor.She will make the birthing experience so miserable.

Horrible bed side manner. She made me feel really uncomfortable and after seeing her for pre-natal visits for a whole 9 months, she still called me by the wrong name. I left and wouldn't recommend her to anyone!

shes a wonderful dr. she deliver two of my kids. very patient with me and always answers all of my concerns. I was recommended to her and a will highly recommend her my friends and colleagues. .
