Dr. Cassandra Goins Simms

To the person who is suppose to answer calls. My daughter doctor sent referral since her recent hospital stay. Nothing. No one will answer the phone. How are children to get help if none of these so called doctors won’t call back. This isn’t the only one either. we have tried 3 different other places. The same thing.

Refused to take me as a new patient stating he was treating me properly. . Um he wasn’t.

Dr Simms is fantastic. She is so knowledgeable and has connected with my kiddo and has hootenanny him on the right meds to help him manage his ADHD. Love this office

I love Dr Sims ! She's been my 2 kids an myself for 11 years. Caring, loving, an like family to me. I think low reviews from ones that didn't get anything they wanted. Because she's very good psychiatrist. My kids love her.

I'm giving a average star a 3. 5 stars for Dr. Simms and if I could give 0 stars for the receptionists I would. I've been going to her for years (off and on) and it is like pulling teeth to get them to answer their calls. I called them maybe once every 45 minutes every day and might get them one time.

I have been seeing Dr Simms for a long time. She is great I have a lot of problems and she helps me with all of them. Without her I don’t think I would be alive she has always been there for me and my family. I think that if she moved somewhere else I would move there too. She is a great doctor I had been to others before her and nobody could help me like her. Her office staff is very nice also. They keep you informed of everything. I ve been with Dr. SIMMS for several yrs. My baby is now 11yrs old, he is non verbal and has autism. I started seeing her when she was in Cleveland, now she is in Chattanooga. She has been good to me and my son. She has moved schedules around just for him. She listen to me and she cares for my baby. Yes, I believe there was some issues yrs ago with the secretary but they have a new one name LeeAnn. She calls me back every time, yes sometimes it can take sometime but she does call me. I never have written a review, but I was on her trying to get an address and i saw these reviews. I was just there on yesterday at 6am, and was happy when we left her, i believe she cares for my child Jahlon therefore i give her a 5 star more if i could. I do recommend Dr. Cassandra Simms. Horrible outfit - primary Dr referred our daughter to Simms in early Nov 2019 - appointment menu said it would take 1-2 weeks to confirm appt. Called twice over the next several weeks - never returned phone call and never got an appointment. We found another Dr.

Tried for two months to get an appt. They will NOT answer their phone. The voice mail message is extremely long each time outlining the process of obtaining a referral. Had one referral sent. No answer. Called. Of course no answer. Went in person. Was told they didn't receive it but assured me as soon as they did there was no waiting list and I would be seen. Went back to my dr. Had them send it AGAIN. Called the office. NO answer again (surprise) - Went in person, was told they received it but this time she was not helpful, said she couldn't help me right now and that she would "Call me" never received a call. Tried to call them again and they do not answer. I'm over it. I told her I didn't care what it would cost, I have insurance and also can pay cash. I just needed simple therapy and med management. This review is only for the person who is in charge of answering the phone and returning calls. I have tried for two weeks. I daily call to get an appointment after getting a referral. I have left several messages and even one that any time and date was ok with me that they could leave a detailed message on my voicemail. Two days later I got a very short message they were returning my call there was no appointment set. I call daily at least six times all thru the day. There is never an answer other than the secretary's voicemail. I am unsure how they can keep appointments when she never answers the phone. Thankfully the therapist got my appointment set up. She is amazing and returns calls within a few hours and will email back almost instantly. I know they have a great staff there if you could just get someone on the phone or to return the calls. I tried for over three months to get an appointment with Dr. Simms. My PCP called to refer, they couldn't get ahold of Dr. Simms' staff. I called multiple times and left voicemails each time. Her staff called me back once to tell me that I was on a wait list and then never called me back to schedule an appointment. I was initially referred on December 20, 2017. It's March 28, 2018 and this office has yet to contact me back about an appointment. Luckily, I've gone to a much more efficient practice and gotten the help I needed. No thanks to this Psychiatrist office, who is supposed to be working in the community for immediate assistance with those in need. Would never recommend this office for any reason. I love Dr Sims we been seeing her for the past 6 years . I would drfinetly suggest her to someone else to see. She's helped me with my kids through a lot of issues.

She isn't in town and more, but she was great.

Dr. Simms is good but her practice has much to be desired. She would often tell me that if I had any issues or if the medication did not work just to call and she would get back to me before our next appointment, however anytime I did this her receptionist would return my phone call and tell me that Dr. Simms said she would talk with me about it at the next appointment. That left little reason for me to trust her word or the receptionist.
