Best therapy experience I've ever had! I highly recommend Carol if you are seeking to heal and change your life!

constantly interrupting me, accusing me of lying, accusing me of not being "as depressed as i think i am" and putting words in my mouth then getting upset when i tell her it's untrue... and the worst part about her is still her attitude. i said that sometimes, the best care is not in my price range, and she said i had no idea what i was talking about and then cut me off to tell me i disrespected HER after a full hour of getting interrupted and ignored!

Ms. Lamson kept me coming for nearly four years, and in the end, she had not helped me to resolve my core issues. I saw her every week initially, then every two weeks, and then monthly. Although Ms. Lamson did help me to bring closure re: previous employment situations, the sessions became more like expensive coffee meetings. She didn't seem to plan/prep for the sessions. Rather, it was, "What do you want to talk about?". There was no concrete therapeutic plan or timeline for achieving my goals, and there was never homework. Unless a person is seriously mentally ill, 6-12 months should be sufficient. Oftentimes she would say things that really had nothing to do with my issues, and there were occasions where she didn't have a meaningful solution. In short, Ms. Lamson stopped connecting with me, and stopped being fully invested. I realize, though, I didn't hold her more accountable, and I I abdicated my agency. So, if anyone decides to work with her, keep the aforementioned in mind.

I struggled to find a therapist that would either get back to me, take my insurance or just be accepting new patients. When I found Carol I was so relieved. After seeing her for about four months, the most important visit I felt I had coming up marking my one year anniversary of a life-altering/threatening event, she canceled because she was sick and told me she would contact me when she was better. No hard feelings there. I get it. But, I was let down and my trust in someone who was there to help was lost again. She never contacted me again. Disappointed is an understatement and I feel that is completely out of line and not professional. Especially when you’re dealing with people who are struggling, you’re already at a vulnerable spot and to be just kind of forgotten about like that is not okay.
