Camilla Louise Marquez

I had high hopes for this doctor. My wonderful Obgyn retired and I was searching for a new doctor and found Marquez. My initial visit was fine, but getting ahold of the office for a follow up has been IMPOSSIBLE! There is no customer service at this office. I will be looking for a new doctor immediately.

Associated they are so unprofessional, no mater how busy you are, you still answer the phone. Been calling for 4 day, & Noone answered the phone. Very not business oriented.

Had my annual Pap smear a year ago. Never did I receive a call about results. I took it as there were no issues. Lo and behold I call to reschedule another pap and they tell me they need to go over results of the last one. I was told the dr never informed anyone to call me. Not only that the hold time when you call is ridiculously long. I was on hold for 20 minutes until I just hung up the phone.

As far as appointments go, I’ve been happy with the Drs and nurses I have seen . But it sucks that I have to waste gas and drive about 25 min away from where I live off Shaw and Clovis just to make an appointment. It is so hard to call and get ahold of them.

I like it here but they never pick up their phone calls. It said open at 8 till 5 and close from 11:30 to 2 but I call at 9:30 till 11 and the they'll say the're closed for lunch then I call from 2:30pm till 4:30 and nothing then they will it say they're closed Gin. 2 days of calling. Love this place a lot though. Just the peoples who answers phone calls that needs to be answered.

Doctor is 5 stars love her ????, but the front staff is 0 ????. I’ve tried calling 20 times this week (not exaggerating), and they did not pick up. The one time they answered, they hung up immediately after I said hello. Tbh all the front desk girls should get fired or something because I have read countless reviews about how horrible they are & not ONE about good service. Leaving this review for my girl because she’s too shy, she’s still going to go though hehe (if she can ever book an appointment)

I'm sorry there have been those who have had bad experiences here. I've never had a problem here. I've been able to get ahold of staff, I haven't had bad experiences with receptionists, I've only seen nurse practitioners but they've always been very nice, and when I needed my birth control refilled and they called to schedule a pelvic exam before refilling I told them my insurance wouldn't pay for another until the next year, she confirmed that was true and said no problem she would leave a note for the doctor, and they still got my prescription refilled on time.

Wow... just... okey, would give 0 stars, but can't (this review is actually a year old, I'm just now editing it so that Google un-hides it for "fowl language" or whatever). So, my girlfriend FINALLY had an appointment the other day, after being rescheduled 3 times in the past 3 months, and idk what was up with the doctor??? She was RUDE! Unbelievably unprofessional!! Treated my girl like garbage!!! Basically said my girlfriend was annoying because she had too many problems and couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. My girlfriend had some concerning conditions she wanted to discuss with her, but the doc just didn't want to hear it!?!?!? Made my poor girl cry! She has some serious issues with her body and the doctor just about gave up on her! Then the doctor started acting like a darn child! The doctor stated that she could get surgery, saying it with an attitude might I add, but my girl insisted that she gets scanned first. This is the worst clinic EVER they NEVER answer the phones or when they do they put you on hold an never get back to you, time to get a new gynecologist.

They never answer the phone. The Dr. Is good but the staff needs help or more training.

I scheduled an appointment at 8:15 with them show up come to find out they don’t even work in that building anymore finally get a hold of them and they tell me that they can’t see me and I live out of town poor communication with their receptionist

I truly appreciate Dr. Marquez and her staff. I transferred care to her with my 3rd pregnancy. My previous OBGYN was horrible. I had a preemie under my last OBGYN and when I became pregnant with my second child I asked for more care because I knew I was prone to preterm births. He said I was fine because I passed the 25 week mark, 3 weeks later I went into labor and had another preemie. Not only did they not listen to my concerns but they diagnosed me with HPV. Come my third pregnancy, I came to Dr. Marquez and her staff. I met with her NP Marrietta and she listened to my concerns and followed me thoroughly. I was put on medication to prevent preterm labor, I was scheduled weekly vaccines for prevention of preterm labor and was sent to SAMC to get a steroid shot to help improve my unborn child's lungs in case I went into pre-term labor. I was also referred to Maternal Fetal Center where I was monitored to make sure I was not dilating during my pregnancy. I delivered my son at 38 weeks and it was thanks to the care that Dr. Marquez and her staff provided me. I also found out I did not have HPV. She gave me the same care with my 4th child and he was also born full term due to her diligent care. I have not had bad experiences with her and I am thankful that she took the time to listen to my concerns and to provide the care that she did for me. I truly appreciate Dr. Marquez and her staff. Best lady Dr. in town! Highly knowledgeable, trustworthy, and excellent bedside manner. She performed both of my c-sections with her exceptionally skilled hands. Nice clean, comfortable office and usually great staff as well :)

The office staff is very rude. The only people who are “decent” are the nurses. I’m 36 weeks and have only met my obgyn doctor Camilla once even though they had me as a high risk pregnancy patient. They never send the prescriptions you need on time. It takes them a week. I transferred doctors and they won’t send my medical records. My new doctor legit had to call them t try and get my medical records. They don’t care that they’re rude because they take medi-cal so they’re just rude all around and know the business will still have so many patients. The front office is incapable of doing your job. Not only do they not answer the phone, but they think they know what the doctor is telling the patient. They refuse to follow up or request documentation needed for procedures. The doctor at this office is great unfortunately her front desk staff is garbage.

The NEW address is 650 W Alluvial Ave Fresno CA 93711 United States . They could at least update instead of having to call and be placed on hold or show up At the old building. Anyway, long wait times in the waiting room.

This whole office needs to be shut down and have licenses and certifications revoked. They do NOT care about their patients!! I got referred to Dr Marquez for possible PCOS. I have had 5 appointments and NEVER met Dr Marquez. She’s never in the office!!! I have been in excruciating pain for months and the NP said “I think you have endometriosis but you’ll need to see doctor for that, all I can do is prescribe another birth control”(birth control made me suicidal) I have had 4 appointments since and every one gets cancelled and rescheduled the day of because “doctor is not in the office”. I cried begging for help and they told me “if it’s that bad go to the ER” I shouldn’t have to when I’m supposed to have a specialist taking care of my issue.They just flat out DO NOT CARE. I hate having to call them for any questions.they never answer. This is my first pregnancy and at first i thought this place would be great.it seemed really cleaned and the practitioner was really sweet.the first visits i didnt know what to expect or ask. And after the first trimester i had tons of questions. Halfway into my 2nd trimester i found out they hadnt been getting my ultrasounds nor bloodwork. Even after i signed release forms every visit.NOONE THERE ATTEMPTED TO ACTUALLY CALL FOR THE ULTRASOUNDS. I have gone to her since I was pregnant with my first baby when I was 19. I have had 2 more since then and am on my 4th baby now. She has been the best when checking out things making sure everything is going the way it should. Very clean offices. Very respectful. She is a great dr. Very kind.

Horrible bad worst experience ever I had in my life. First of all when I called the front desk to make an appointment I asked to see the doctor, they said yes you will be seen by doctor. Then on the day of my appointment while I’m in the office doing the paperwork they told me I will be seen by a nurse practitioner, I told them that you told me I will be seen by a doctor , she said no we did not tell you you will seen by a doctor . The restroom very very very dirty there is a napkins on the floor and the trash can is filled with dirty napkins and the walls are so dirty same as the the sink and everything is dirty . I was waiting for a long time . my appointment at 2:30pm and I’ve been seen by 4:00pm. Then they called me to see the nurse , I was waiting in room number 12 and the examination room as well is very very very dirty there is a blood on the wall, the examined chair is ripped and they covered with white paper. The nurse practitioner she doesn’t have enough knowledge to answer my questions at all she did nothing for me, I’m really sick and I need help she did not helped me at all. HORRIBLE! She gave me meds that cause suicidal tendencies after I told her I have a history of self harm and suicidal attempts. Was going to this doctor but decided to leave. She told my sister. That she refuses to see her because she is to high risk when my sister has been going to here for years. My sister has been bleeding and because of the bleeding she has had 2 heart attacks.i have never heard any doctor say something so crazy. I have been a patient of Dr. Marquez for more than 2 years. The first year was awesome as she listened to my concerns and officially diagnosed me with Endometriosis. However, this year has been different and difficult. I have been bleeding for nearly 5 months with huge blood clots and I'm on Nexplanon. The Nurse Practitioner listened to my concerns and immediately scheduled tests and to get me in as soon as possible. If I could give zero starts I would. Worst medical experience I’ve ever had. I would NEVER recommend to anyone that has a troubled pregnancy, ovarian or uterus issues. I’ve told them MANY times something is wrong and ended up having to go to my family doctor to receive the help I need. They told me that my placenta detachment was fine and I just needed water, other doctors did NOT agree. Here I am and I’m my period for 44 days and they tell me it’s normal and yet I go into a different doctor and I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and an enlarged ovary but you know that’s normal according to them. My best friend recently just saw this particular physician in office staff when I went in with her was so extremely rude very unprofessional I don’t know what’s going on in this office but they shouldn’t be working in this field if they do not care for humans. My best friend will see the doctor in four more days after a reschedule today and a wait time of 2 to 3 hours before being told that the doctor was out doing a C-section and would not be in the office. When I first went to her 14 years ago her practice was phenomenal, they practitioners were consistent and really good! Now their professionalism has decreased, the wait time has increased, they are hard to reach. Tabitha at the front desk always greets you with a smile so thats definitely the main plus side!

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Marquez. She delivered both my children, now 4 and 3. The dr is so amazing. However her staff member named Lupe is an ignorant, rude person, very bad service always has a ugly attitude. Other that her ugly a$$ personality the rest of the staff is awesome.

Literally NOBODY answers the phone. Called 5 times in a row with 2 min waiting period in between each call after 2pm before 5pm and still NO answer. Doesn't even give you an option to leave a message, just hangs up.

First time calling to see about being a patient there and the receptionist that answered the phone is very rude! I will find another place to call to be seen somewhere else!

Medical staff here is unprofessional, and inconsiderate. They don’t leave messages properly and made us play phone tag while driving to an appointment. As it turns out, the doctor needed to take the day off but the MAs didn’t do the right thing by calling her patients with less than a few minutes notice of them cancelling.

I have been going to Dr Marquez office for over 11 years. The staff is always friendly and professional. I loved Marietta and now that she is gone I see Carmen who is super sweet and personable.. I would not gone anywhere else

This office is very poorly ran. The office hardly ever answers the phone, wait times to be seen are over an hour long. Expect to spend 2 or more hours per visit. The office is hot in the summer, the bathroom is disgusting.

I used to like this clinic but seems like not only did they change locations but they also changed the way they do business. I honestly don’t understand the “No child between 1-10”, policy they have. Maybe they should do a limit of one child instead of no children. I went in for a UTI and was refused service because I had my 6 year old with me (I couldn’t find a babysitter and on top of that she was sick). I am so happy with the attention Dr Marquez has gave me. I am 37 years of age and was in need of a 2nd option Dr. I had been through 3 previous miscarriages and fibroids. She recommended a procedure that helped shrink them. I am happy to say with Her expert recommendation I am now pregnant with two babies. I couldn’t be more thankful for her help. The nurse practitioner was extremely insensitive while she performed a Pap on me. First she used a regular speculum, but then said she needed a longer one because my cervix is to the back. Without warning, she roughly inserted the longer one and it caused so much pain! I bled for two days afterward due to her failure to 1) talk me through was was happening/going to happen; 2) use of long speculum (I'd never needed one before). I wish I had seen reviews prior to going to this office.

She is a horrible dr! She has a terrible attitude and doesnt explain options very well. She wasnt my dr BUT she was the dr on call to do my emergency c-section and she didnt explain to me what was going on and didn't care much about me!!! She waa rude and impatient and because of her my incision ended up infected and had to be reopened!!

Marquez and her staff are unaware of what they are doing. Her staff definitely need more schooling and so does Marquez. I had preeclampsia and NEVER did they do anything about it. I went into preterm labor and my son was in the hospital for 3 weeks. If i would have seen these reviews FIRST i would have NEVER gone to this office! They are careless and rude. They are all sloppy females who need to find a career elsewhere. Not to mention the nurse practitioner was a mess too!

It was bad experience I was delivering my baby she was not there for my delivery One of the nurses at the hospital end up delivering my son and there was one doctor that was not a doctor I don't know something like that who helped up at the end to pull out my son. I also do not recommend hospital and she was not there to deliver my son I was never told that I had 10 days to do circumcised on my son know I can't get that done for him. I do not recommend this doctor at all.

I was desperate to find a new obgyn as I was 3 months pregnant at the beginning of the year. I was kind of hesitant to go to Dr. Marquez's office after all the reviews I had read online. I am so glad I went to her! She is an amazing doctor, you can tell she cares for her patients in a genuine way. Her NP's and staff are super friendly and courteous. I have had many complications with my pregnancy and Dr. Marquez and her staff have taken really good care of me. I highly recommend this Dr!

Dr. Marquez should be ashamed to even be an OB. She does not love and care for me and my baby. She did not do much to help me save my 21 weeks baby. My baby passed in July and believe she could have done more to help. she did even show up to say one thing to me when I was lying emotional pain at the delivery bed. I regret having her as my OB and regret I went to St. Agnes for help with my pre-term delivery. the combination of Dr. Marquez and unloving staff at St. Agnes is a bad one.
