I can't review the dentist since he never bothered to introduce himself. After waiting 5 weeks for my apt. I arrive and am told they have yet to do the prior auth needed for my root canal, even though they were informed on the phone I had my referral and xray. The dentist obviously already aware he was not doing my procedure still had another xray done I'm assuming just to get the bill up!! Then obviously knowing they screwed up had the nerve to offer to pull my save able tooth lol hard pass DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. After reading other reviews it is apparent this office never takes responsibility and continues to blame the patient

Everything was great . My cleaning was very thoroughly, she was nice and great at her job . Very little wait time .

One of the best place I’ve been to in a long time. Staff is super friendly and nice. recommend this place. To anyone that’s looking to get some work on their teeth I was super satisfied with my work that they did on me hopefully I don’t gotta go back anytime soon but if I do, that’s the place I’m going too definitely going back to do a cleaning on my teeth ????

The receptionist was not understanding that I was given the wrong time. They refused to see me even though I had left work early. Will never recommend based on how I was treated.

After several years seeing Dr. Shields, my family and I will be finding a new doctor. Called several times to get an appointment with no calls back. Finally reached them and told that I was on their list to call. This was over a week later from the first message I left. Needed to get my daughter in for an emergency cavity. Finally got an appointment 3 weeks later and had to cancel the day before due to a school conflict. Asked them to call me back and heard nothing again. Finally reached them today and was told I could no longer make appointments for my family and I and had to be a "walk in" on Wednesday mornings only due to many cancellations from my family over the years. This is a joke and inaccurate information. So many people dislike this Doctor and his practice and I always defended them. Not anymore. Great service. I went there for the first time a few months ago for a general checkup. Then I went back to get a tooth pulled out and they have great customer service. Totally recommend.

Excellent staff. Dr. Shields has been my dentist for 25 years. His skill in making crowns is unparalleled. His staff is very friendly, very professional and compliment his skill at dentistry.

They were so great. They did an emergency extraction on my wisdom teeth. I was I was in so much pain and they got me in that day. They greeted every person personally. I've heard and seen tons of negative reviews, but I was there yesterday, and have no complaints. Dr. Shields did what other dentists refused to do, which is what the patient asked for. I had no problems with his work or care. We had some difficulty with 2 teeth, but that wasn't his fault. I feel pretty good today, which tells me he knows what he's doing. He doesn't talk much, which might bother some people, but the girls are chatty and nice. And after so many negative things i've seen, I can't blame him for not talking much. 4/9-As an update, here I am, 3 days post-op, (19 teeth removed at one shot) And I feel great. My daughter was well over due for a dentist appointment (Thanks COVID!) and they were pretty quick to get her in. The hygienist and dentist were amazing with her and helped quench most of her fears! They made her laugh and she really enjoyed it. My favorite part was that they allowed me to come back with her. So many dentist offices don’t allow parents in the room with their children, and that was an instant deal breaker for me. Thankfully, I didn’t even have to ask! Had dental work done in 2019 paid my out of pocket fees at every appointment then i receive a generic looking invoice with a balance of $559.00 on March 6th 2022, three years after procedure. They claim they've been sending me statements (for 3 years?) Sounds like a scam to me.

I had came to the office with a cracked tooth underneath a crown. Doctor and staff were so patient and kind. I have horrible dentist anxiety, and I mean horrible.Doctor made sure to come back several times to make sure that I was good and numb. Thank you!

Dr Shields and his staff have been wonderful! I had a reconstruction done there many years ago, and due to distance had left for routine care. After a traumatic injury this winter, I was reluctant to let anyone else fix my old reconstruction. They have been AMAZING! Kind, professional, and made me feel like I never left their practice. Such a great experience, usually when you think of dentist it’s not always the greatest feeling but she helped really calm my nerves and make me feel comfortable. I went for an appointment this Monday scheduled for 4pm and not a single vehicle was in the parking lot, door was locked, and I called at least ten times and nobody answered. I left a message and still haven't received a call back, yet I received a text for feedback yesterday. Makes no sense considering I wasn't even seen! I don't know what's going on.. they are supposed to be open until 5pm.. obviously not. Awsome people and dental services I was treated like family very happy

The staff have no care in the world very rude staff lack of communication skills are terrible my son had a whole lot of dental work done face very swollen but the fillings fell out was bleeding over 24 hour they are closed on Fridays my husband leaves message so you would think someone call when they open Monday but never did the sad part is he had a wonderful pediatric Dentist 6 months to age 18 and since I seen shields for years I figured I'll take my 2 kids my kids trusted me as there parent now it's in question not to mention broke SOME of his teeth and my daughter had 1 filling done he chipped her tooth and now I have to pay to fix it. At the same time we told the dentist my SOME has bad kidney issues cant take Ibuprofen and now this ordeal has caused my sons kidney's are failing let's freely dope up the older but can't help my 19 yr old son fur at least over night...No wonder the High suicide rate among Dentists Just saying

My children and I have been a patient of Dr. Shields for a long time I can't imagine going anywhere else. My oldest had issues with the root canal from a previous dentist. The staff and Dr. Sheilds were so caring and thoughtful and every time I go there that's what we get. Caring their thoughtful they go the extra mile for you and they definitely will do anything to get you out of pain right away I highly recommend them for every age!! Had to go through an uncomfortable procedure, Brian and his staff made the process as best as it could be for me. I appreciated their professionalism.

Dr Shields is very nice. Amanda is a spectacular hygienist. Gentle & very nice. New front desk person also very nice. I love it there and have fun!

Very friendly staff and they were extremely helpful

Had to get dentures done and I am glad I found Dr. Shields. Everyone in the office there are great and they took the time to make sure I was comfortable and the dentures came out wonderful. Definitely recommend Dr. Shields office for any dental work.

My 4 year old had her first dentist appointment here for her checkup to start preschool, the entire staff was amazing and caring. They joked around with her and made her feel comfortable, they also let me come back with her when most dental offices won't let you with children. Definitely going back for myself and my other child.

As we all know we plan dentist appointments months in advance! We then plan work and all other appointments around those scheduled appointments to ensure we are available to show up to the appointment! Well today was both of my sons scheduled appointments which I confirmed through text reminders and email reminders for the past 4 days. I then got a call from the office staff stating that since other appointments cancelled before ours that they want to move my sons appointments up and they stated since there is no school today you should be able to bring them in earlier. I told them no I can not I have other commitments today and we will be at our scheduled appointment time. I then got a call back 30 minutes later and was told that they were cancelling both of my sons appointments because Doctor doesn’t want to wait around all days since all of his other appointments cancelled!! Then I was asked to reschedule and I told them NO I will just find another dentist who actually wants to see his patients! Very unprofessional! I truly hope he and his staff have a great time this afternoon and evening at the expense of loosing 3 patients permanently!! As we all know we plan dentist appointments months in advance! Very nice folks, they dont play no games when you go go them with pain, they take care of that day if possible, most places shedule a appointment after first visit weither in pain or not, went to first appointment and they pulled the bad tooth same day, that day i became a patient and have been their since my family as well, great with kids one of btr dentist ive been too ???????????? keep up the good work!! My daughters 1st time at the dentist and she was nervous but once the nurse started talking to her she wasn't nervous anymore good staff and I actually came to the same dentist when I was a teen.
