I have a friend that he messed her foot up so bad and he kept her on pain meds until shes suffering bad now … better read before you choose to go to him .

I chose Dr. Mazzei because of the good reviews for Abingdon Foot and Ankle. I went to him because of ingrown toenails. He did a partial nail removal. Less than a week later, it looked like I had an infection in one of my toes so I called the office to see if I could come in. They said that I didn’t need to come in and that all I needed was an antibiotic. I took the antibiotic and my toes did not get any better. After three weeks I called back and asked if I could come in for him to look at my toes. He barely looked at them and said that it was just taking them longer to heal. Fast forward another two weeks and my toes were no better. I was in a lot of pain. I called and scheduled another appointment with him. He came in and barely looked at my toes and said that I was going to have to have my whole nail removed. I told him I did not want to do that so he gave me another antibiotic. After this visit, I scheduled an appointment with another podiatrist for a second opinion. After this podiatrist examined my toes he realized that I still had ingrown nail in both of my toes and that is why they were not healing. He got the nail out and told me that I would not have to have my whole nail removed. It has been a week and a half since I saw this podiatrist and my toes are completely healed. Knowledgeable podiatrist - Dr Mazzai (“May-Zee”, an Italian name) was friendly, wise, and talkative if you are - graduate of the Podiatric School at Kent State University in Ohio — was great to me , 5 stars

Dr. Mazzei is the best Podiatrist ever! Always takes his time explaining every option concerning my arthritic toe. Very caring & sympathic.

Was good at first but when I had a problem following surgery, he misdiagnosed and refused to admit it. Was more concerned about being right than caring for his patient. Finally received a correct diagnosis when leaving Dr. Mazzei’s care.

One may not consider the extreme value of a Podiatrist but Dr Mason ranks up there with "NONE BETTER". She has compassion, skill and the gentle care which sets her head and shoulders above others. Her partner Dr Mazzei is also great. I HIGHLY recommend this team..
