Dr. Brent Lee Mixon

My husband has been going to Dr. Mixon for years and now I know why! To start with Mia and Lupe are precious office staff who took care of us same day . Left a message on Sunday asking to call us if there is a cancelation and Mia called Monday morning and very professionally said she would keep our number by her desk all day just in case. At 1pm she called giving us a full hour notice. Upon arriving and updating a little chart info Lupe called us back and I got to see how efficiently this cozy office runs with an at home country flair. Lupe was friendly and knew her stuff like an expert and was obvious she really enjoyed her profession. When Dr. Mixon came into the room he sat directly in front of my husband with his full focus and they caught up on how each other was doing like old friends. I was surprised at the personal interest and friendly attitude he displayed for the entire 30 minute appointment. What a beautiful example in 5 Golden Stars of service and personal interest and genuine compassion. He said he has learned a lot from his colleagues in the area showing humility and gratefulness to the older generation of professionals he looks to as an example in quality service . What a Brilliant Gem we have in Angleton Texas on our team, our friend Dr. Brent Mixon????

The staff and Dr Mixon are outstanding. Dr Mixon confirmed what the VA Dr had found. I was fearful, concerned, doubtful and uneasy when I arrived to Dr Mixon's office. He gave me prompt attention and examined my eyes. He treated me with respect, and compassion. He explained to me all the specific details of my eye issue. I felt relief, calm, optimistic, and pleased. I am very grateful for the service I received. I felt confident and calm after my visit.Thank you Dr Mixon for being a great Dr. God bless ya'll. After 30 years of positive visits to various optometrists in different cities, I was surprised to feel impressed with today's visit to Mixon Eye Care. This office has perfected the balance of professionalism and personal care. The staff were as timely, helpful, & sensitive with my two sons' appointments as they were with the handful of other patients who walked in the door while we were there. Dr. Mixon is thorough, engaged, conscientious ...simply a brilliant optometrist. My 10 1/2yr old successfully put on his first contacts *by himself!* in the office, after 5-10minutes amazing guidance from Dr. Mixon and one of the caring staff members. We live 20min away in a bigger town with pretty good optometrists, but decided to give Mixon Eye Care a shot after noticing their logo on our swimteam Tshirts. The drive was totally worth it. Mr. Mixon is a super Doctor, he is intellectual, learned, willing to share his knowledge while being the utmost friendly, as well professional in his work, this is the first and best exam I have received in many years, his knowledge, education, and manners is a credit to Mr. Mixon, his staff is friendly, efficient, and professional as well.
