Dr. Branislav Jokic

Dr. Jokic actually sat and listened to my concerns. He helped put a plan together for me. I had a kidney stone and was in so much pain and anxiety. He was kind and knowledgeable.

After admittedly having too much to drink, I took a rather bad fall in my home: resulting in several contusions and what I thought at the time were broken ribs. While trying to get a little sleep in the ER, I was apparently moaning loudly - which caused one of the male ER doctors (whose name I am still researching) to come through my curtain and tell me, "You're drunk & I need you to shut up." Since I live only a mile away from the hospital I told him he was being inexcusably rude and obnoxious and began to dress with the intention of walking home and having my wife take me to another hospital. This doctor then threatened to call the police and have me picked up for public intoxication on the way home while asking me, "Would you prefer a night in jail?" I stayed put, doing my best to stifle expressions of pain. Later, I was admitted to the hospital itself where I, my injuries & discomfort were wonderfully attended to by Dr. Jokic as well as my nurses Becky, Shelby, Rebekah, Robby and several others whose names I unfortunately cannot all recall. In short - this ER is to be avoided. I am absolutely astounded at what felt like the pure lack of empathy and yes, cruelty of the doctor then on duty. However, I deeply respect, thank and praise the professionalism of the inpatient crew who helped me.
