Dr. Barry Glasser

Wrote me a prescription for pain meds with refills which isn't permitted. Then when pharmacy wouldn't take it, he told me that I was lying. He felt like a real fool when he went back and looked at the script he wrote. Never willing to go the extra mile for anyone. Bedside manner is terrible. AVOID!

Dr Glasser, is to me very kind, helpful and seems like he cares about me. I made him my primary care dr for myself and my daughter.

I was a patient of Dr. Barry Glasser for over 15 years. He always spent more than sufficient time with me during office visits & completely understood my issues, treating me with respect, accuracy & professionalism. Dr Glasser is versed in many areas of treatment including my specific issues of chronic respiratory distress & year round allergies. He is involved in so many aspects of health care that my friend & I used to joke that he has more jobs than a Jamaican! Dr Glasser treated me for many injuries over the years as well as problems that cropped up from time to time (like chicken pox at the ripe old age of 35!). He always urged me to participate in fitness activities (which I avoided, being skinny & lazy), he chided me about poor eating habits - which I didn't always fully understand. He recommended that I see various specialists from time to time (I didn't always comply - not his fault), and when I had urgent problems Dr Glasser was always there when I needed him. My only gripe would be that based on blood work results Dr Glasser once warned me that I had 'a tendency towards hypertension & diabetes'. Due to his turn of phrase I didn't fully understand that he meant that I was pre-hypertensive & pre-diabetic. I neglected to seek clarification & did not alter my eating or physical activities. I eventually found out what he meant a couple of years later, through other means. Other than that, I love Dr Glasser & always will. Wish he was still my Doctor, but I have moved out of state. I can say unequivocally that Dr Barry Glasser is an excellent Doctor!

Starting with the nasty demeanor of the staff, I really didn't want to follow thru with my appointment, but I had to. Then after waiting an hour he finally shows up. We start discussing 2 issues I'm having, he is very uninterested and even combative, actually yelling about 2 drugs that he prescribed me when I questioned him about the interaction that the pharmacist has given me warning about every time I picked them up. He then has no idea about the synthroid medication I've been on for 20 years, 2 years prescribed by him, he then writes me a script for blood tests and he writes that with some one elses name and birth date, it wasn't staff mistakes because he wrote it in front of me. With no real examination of my work injuries he argued that he has seen this before and its not his place to decide if I can be excused from work just until I get the expert to treat my symptoms! Hes the assigned doctor!!! I seek no pain medication, never taken any such medication. I refuse. He is angry, unorganized, confused unconcerned. He fits the behavior for drug abuse crisis. 2 years ago this was not the case, he was on point. But my visit yesterday I was treated horribly and it was very upsetting. I hope he gets treatment for his addiction.

The doctors are very good at medical one in brigantine, but the creeps that work at the reception area seem to resent you if you aren't spanish speaking. the experience was so bad the last time i went, i simply left, and will never go back there for anything.

Dr. Glasser takes the time to listen. No question is insignificant. Gives you websites to read to learn more about what's happening with your body. Highly recommend Dr. Glasses and Dr. Dunn.

He's a professional .Always detail and complete explanation of best treament is the best for my condition. I'm very happy and confidence.Thank you Dr.Glasser

I've been seeing dr. Glasser for about 30 years. My appointment last Saturday was shocking! He actually yelled that I need a psychiatrist at me loud enough I'm sure the whole office heard it. He made me sign some kind of benzo contract, and drug tested me! I'm 59 years old, and I wasn't there for 'pain management'. I think he's the one who needs a drug test! He's like a different person!if this review could have zero stars it would! And everyone I know has a dr Glasser horror story!

Dr. Glasser has been an absolute angel in helping me deal with back pain. i have had numerous back surgeries and have not had very much relief. I was recommended to Dr. Glasser and I have found him to be extremely kind and very, very compassionate. He has worked diligently with me to find drug therapy to help me and he never hesitates to listen to anything I have to say. He takes all the time that is needed during my appointments. He has a very dedicated office staff who always have a smile on their face and are so delightful and professional. Yes, there is usually a wait of up to an hour, but the office also takes walk-in appointments. However, it is absolutely worth the time spent to have access to Dr. Glasser's expertise. When making an appointment, it is always possible to see him within 1-2 days. I cannot imagine seeing any other physician for my pain management. He is #1 !
