I am very ,very pleased with my surgery. I am sad that I won't be able to have children but I know Dr. Bicher did her best to save my uterus. My surgery was Feb 7 2023 and today 15 days later no complaints, no problem, I feel healthier thanks to that amazing job she did. I would recommend her with my eyes closed to anyone that need a major surgery like I did. She saved my life with the help of the lord. She is amazing. Jennifer, olivia and her staff are amazing. They check up on me every day multiple times while I was in recovery for couple of days. I am very satisfied and happy. 5 stars ???? is not enough to what she deserves.

Dr Annette Beecher is OUTSTANDING!!!! I recently had a major surgery and I know that I could not have been in better hands!!! My recovery was amazing as well. I cannot express how honored I was to have had such a smart and skilled surgeon!! We are very lucky to have such a Competent Surgeon available to us! Thank YOU Dr. Beecher!

Dr. Bicher has absolutely no bedside manner. She was patronizing and lacked empathy. She did not seem to care about my point of view and quickly dismissed everything I asked or spoke of about my concerns. She referred to my GYN (who sent me to her) as uneducated. I was referred to Dr. Bicher by my local gyn. The exam started out fine and professional but after the exam she was quickly irritated and condescending when I started asking specific questions about my medical concerns and treatment options. She became abruptly rude and made a very sarcastic statement to me while proceeding to storm out of my room before our discussion was over. Due to her unprofessional and escalated behavior, she left the exam room without telling me what her recommendations/plans were for me, when or if I needed to follow up with her or my gyn. She didn't even let me know if I needed to get dressed and check out etc.. I was left feeling embarrassed, confused and flabbergasted; one moment we were having a professional civil discussion and the next she is insulting me and storming out the door. Between the initial meet n greet, the actual exam and the brief post exam conversation, the visit with her was less than 10mins. Everyone has bad days but for a doctor to have bed side manners that terrible, left me with an unnecessarily stressful experience; which is not good for my health. I am not a difficult patient but I expect a doctor to at least listen to my concerns and opinions while showing a little empathy and understanding. Was able to get appointment fast. She knows her stuff and was able to explain the diagnosis and treatment options clearly. I trust her.

I don’t think she should be practicing at ALL. Extremely rude and her office staff have no idea what the hell they are doing from processing the right paper and updating on their patients upcoming schedule. She has too many patients and maybe she needs to cut down a lot and be more patient, friendly and show a little bit of care.

By the grace of GOD Dr. Beecher operated on me at Innova Fairfax Hospital for ovarian cancer and saved my life in 1998. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer by 3 oncologists. I was very sick, lost lots of weight, certain body functions stopped and was not expected to survive. Anyway, happy ending, I did not have ovarian cancer but tuberculosis of the stomach lining. Thanks to Dr. Beecher I am still here to tell my story and if I ever win the lottery she will be remembered. Dr Bicher is an amazing doctor. She and her staff (especially Jennifer C.) have made my experience delightful! I have never come across such down to earth, professional courtesy in my entire experience in dealing with women’s healthcare. I would recommend her to anyone, especially those who may be leery about procedures. She is absolutely fantastic and totally put my mind at ease. I wish that I had the pleasure of knowing her and dealing with her from the very start of seeing women health doctors...which for me has been an awful lot over the years. Dr Bicher is an excellent oncologist and masterful surgeon. Her office staff could really use some solid management and basic customer service skills . Making follow up appointments is quite challenging.

Changed orders for CT to CT/CTA without telling me (insurance company notified) and results not discussed. 3 times that I am aware of released by records without a release (twice to doctors I never heard of). Dr. Bicher is hands down the best. Brilliant, kind, patient, wise, an amazing surgeon and human being.

Dr Annette Bicher and her team (Darlene, Stacy, jessamine, I can name so many) have truly touched my life and my heart. Dr Bicher is not only and expertise in her field of medicine in oncology but she is a rare doctor because she is sooooooo compassionate. She is so caring not only to her patients but their families. She is always attentive to my husbands needs. She is seriously the best doctor and team I have ever had in my lifetime. I have had cancer the second time now. She truly has touched my heart. Dr Bicher saved my life!!! She is such a caring person and the right amount of firmness you need going through chemo!

Though Dr. Bicher is a great surgeon, her practice adds so much stress to the situation, dropping the ball on scheduling important testing and not responding AT ALL to any inquiry. I am grateful for the surgery, but horrified as the cancer has come back and I have to sit on my thumbs for weeks on end doing nothing. Looking for someone who actually pays attention to my health.

Dr. Bicher saved my Mother's life TWICE. Three years ago Mom was diagnosed with Primary Peritoneal cancer, and Dr. Bicher provided us with the most clear description of our treatment options. And she gave us options of different chemo schedules and potential drugs. Dr. Bicher also did the debulking surgery which was executed perfectly without any issues. She is an excellent communicator and carefully adjusts the chemo doses based on how things are going and how Mom was experiencing side effects. Almost three years later, Mom had a fall and the cancer returned, and Dr Bicher carefuly tailored the treatment due to Mom's weakened state and age. She is both honest and compassionate. I have difficulties with this practice. Examples: 1. Test performed without telling me. 2. Lab culture sent to uncovered lab instead of lab that my insurance covers so I had to pay for test. 3. No response to my letter and 3 calls over 3 weeks for result of tests; finally got response after 4th call. 5. Incorrect info on patient portal, no correction despite repeated requests. 6. Little time or attention to patient concerns although eager to prescribe chemotherapy. 7. Reception is unwelcoming.

I was referred to Dr. Bicher for a partial hysterectomy complicated by endo and gastro issues. Every single doctor i spoke to on this journey, from my PCP to my gastroenterologist to the attending doctors in a recent hospitalization knew who she was, and we're really pleased i was working with her. She's compassionate, plain spoken and direct, easy to talk to, and takes the time you and she need. I appreciated that she was very specific in describing why she needed to do certain things, and where i had questions she answered with detailed explanations and data, as well as personal experiences. She discussed the non surgical options i had already felt i ruled out, to make sure i was comfortable with the idea of the surgery and was making a most informed decision. She prepared me for the worst case scenario and recovery, but promised to start with the least invasive option. I couldn't have asked for more. Highly, highly recommended. She is compassionate and thoughtful with my Mother. She performed an operation to remove a tumor and also supervised my Mom’s chemo treatments. We could not have asked for a better victor or a more kind and caring human being. We are grateful we found her; she literally saved my Mothwrs life twice!

Dr. Bicher saved my life. A very busy office, and my doctor called and got me an emergency appointment with her. I thank God everyday that I went there. The PA's were great, as was doctor Bicher in explaining everything, and knowing what we were going to go thru. Yes, they are very busy. The practice is one of the top 10 in the entire country. It's not easy to get in, but with the help of your doctor sending you there, it can be done quicker!

I just want to say that our appointment yesterday revealed some unwanted news and a biopsy had to be done and she was very tolerable and concerning despite how much pain and yelling was done by the patient because it hurt and she and her assistants were very nice!!!! That was our first visit. More post later

referred to Dr Bicher after cancer diagnosis -office iscold, gray; staff is not attentive. Bicher's exam was about 20 minutes, arranged pet/ct scan the following week. 9 days passed between the petscan and call to schedule follow up (6 days later) . Meanwhile i went for 2nd opinion, had pet/ct copy got results from new dr; in those 9 days new dr had add'l scans done and 1st treatment planned. Made 3 requests for my records sent to new dr - her office never did. Glad i chose another doc.

I am eternally grateful to Dr Bicher. She is the only one who could laproscopically extract a 20 cm cyst on my ovary, with no damage to my ovaries or fallopian tube WHILE I WAS 18 WEEKS PREGNANT!! My baby and I are both indebted to her. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

I visited a few doctors after I was diagnosed with cancer and it was completely night and day with Dr. Bicher. I felt very rushed during my appointment (it seemed like she just wanted me in and out of her office), she didn't take the time to listen and answer questions and her staff/nurses were very rude. Please shop around for doctors until you find one that will listen to you and that you are comfortable with!

Practically impossible to get appointment with her. I have to wait 3 weeks before a scheduler will call me for an appointment. I predict I will have to wait for another 2 months for the actual appointment. At the point of giving up trying to see her. Even if she is the top doctor, what's the use when you cannot even get an appointment with her?

Very rude office, impossible to get a hold of, not helpful at all. Not a stress you need while going through cancer. Does not take any time with patient. Does not answer questions. Take your business elsewhere to someone who will actually care, answer questions, answer phone calls, and explain things.
