Very professional and thorough. I use them even though they are out of network for those reasons.

I have been going to Dr Marie Newcomer for at least 2 decades the staff are professional pleasant and caring Dr Newcomer is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to have as a DR. Won’t go any where else. And now that her son is in the office even after she’s retires I will still be seen by a Dr. Newcomer

I have been going to Dr Newcomer for as long as I can remember. I now live out of the area, but come back for all my optical needs. She takes the time to talk to you, to listen to your concerns, and to explain things so you can understand. Dr Newcomer has gone the extra mile for me. Her staff is polite, friendly & helpful. I feel totally comfortable recommending her.

We have been going to Dr. Newcomer for over 20 years. It is always a pleasant, relaxed experience. The Dr. and office staff are extremely helpful and top notch.

Very thorough eye exam and nice friendly folks there.they always take very good care of me, and glasses are reasonable and last a long time.

Love the people here. From Dr Newcomer to the technicians, folks at the front desk, Cindy and Donna in the eyeglass department , the most engaged and helpful people I have experienced in any industry. I love to just go visit them and say hi when I can. I receive through examinations here and the eyeglasses are stylish, and I have no trouble with new prescriptions ever. Have had My eyes cared for here for years.

My previous optometrist retired, and I moved from CT to Florida. HEC was just what I needed as I was nervous after being with the same optometrist for 30 years. From the welcoming people at the front desk who helped me navigate my first use of Medicare, to the very professional yet down to earth tech who dealt with all of the prelims of my visit, I clearly made the right choice. Then Dr. AnneMarie took over and continued to put me completely at ease as she explained every detail of her exam and how it related to my everyday vision experience. I learned so much that had never been shared with me before. I really look forward to a long optical relationship with HEC.

On time appointment Dr Annemarie Newcomer took time to explain everything she found in my eyes. Very helpful. She treats patient very professionally and always has time to answer all of the patient’s questions. When she does retire, she will be greatly missed.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Macon Newcomer this morning. It was a great experience. From the office staff, to the tech, to Dr. Newcomer. Everyone was friendly, professional, and informative. I would highly recommend their office to anyone looking for an optometrist.

Dr. Newcomer’s office was able to fit me into their schedule at the last minute, which was a lifesaver! Dr. Newcomer diagnosed my issue after a thorough exam and was able to explain what was going on and what my follow up care should be. Very impressed with the entire experience !

Dr. Anne Newcomer is the best! She has been my eye doctor for many years. I always feel very comfortable during the exam. She takes time to explain everything that is taking place during the exam and the outcome. Cindy in the optical department is awesome I just let her pick my frames as I have learned over the years she is the frame “whisperer”. Can’t go wrong with an eye exam here. Consistently excellent service over many years. While in the office today I overheard another patient tell Dr Newcomer, “You are a miracle worker.” Not surprised.

Very unprofessional office. The day before my husband's new patient appointment the office called and asked if he could move his appointment time to an hour earlier. He agreed and I went with him because we know he is going to need surgery and we wanted to discuss options with the doctor. When we arrived and checked we were left sitting in the office watching patient after patient go into waiting rooms. After 50 minutes I went up to the front desk and asked why we were still waiting. The receptionist, who had signed us in, said she wondered why we showed up so early. Another front office person said she had heard someone make the phone call to us and wondered why. They said we would be taken 'to the back' next. After another 15 minutes we left. Not one person in that office ever spoke with us nor apologized for their error. We figured if the front desk is this rude it would be the same in 'the back'. I then canceled another new patient appointment I made for my mother. We left feeling very disappointed and angry. Dr. Newcomer has been my Eye Doctor for 8 years. She is very caring and attentive. Several of my friends also go to Dr. Newcomer, and are very happy with her. I would highly recommend her.
