Dr. Andrew Taylor Smith III

I had my first appointment with him today! Dr. Smith and his staff are AMAZING! So down to earth and seems to know his stuff! He took his time with me today and made sure I knew exactly what he was talking about with all my breaks/fractures and tears before moving on to the next mri photo. Dr. Smith is an excellent podiatrist. He diagnosed my foot problems clearly and gave me simple solutions that solved my problems quickly.

Amazing!

He went above and beyond to help a relative of mine. His staff was very friendly.

Dr. Smith was very accommodating when caring for my father. He was patient with my parents and took the time to explain the procedure to them in a manner that they could understand. He was exceptionally communicative to me and my brothers, explaining pre and post surgical procedures. The surgery went very well and exactly as Dr. Smith had predicted. We were very blessed to have Dr. Smith caring for my dad. I would recommend him to anyone!

A friend had told me he would want to remove my little toes before I went to see him. I thought that was ridiculous. On my initial visit.. He wanted to remove my little toes. Be cautious

I was very happy with the tendon replacement surgery I had in 2013 by Dr. Smith. That ankle/foot now is tireless, and I call it my "bionic foot".

Never returned my calls, made us wait over 45 min last appointment I had with him. My husband was not impressed with his work ethic. I wouldn't refer him or go back to him.

Awesome dude. And haven't you always wanted a Doc who was an awesome dude? This guy is genuinely interested in his patients, he makes eye contact, yeah, EYE CONTACT imagine that! And he takes the time to get to know you. If you're looking to be just a body on the Health Care Conveyor Belt, this is NOT the Doc for you. If you want a Doc who looks you in the eye, is clearly brilliant in his field and wants to find out who you are not just what ails ya', then this is the Doc for you. On 9/19/16, Dr. Smith performed a scar excision on a plantar keratoma on my left foot which has caused me pain for some 15 yrs. The operation went very smoothly with excellent after care by the Dr. and his staff and Home Care (both nursing and phyisical therapy), the staffing for which was proficient and congenial. The experience was better than expected and I would highly recommend Dr. Smith and Augusta General Home Care for any foot and/ankle operations.

Great personality and excellent surgeon. Cares very much about his patients.
