I had a bad reaction to some steroid drops and i was in a lot of pain when i went to Dr Amy Rasmussen and she could see clearly that i had an open wound in my eye, and she just told me to stop using the steroid drops and. use artificial tears and sent me away. She ideally should have given me an eye patch and told me to shut my eyes completely, no driving, no working on laptop.. but she never said any of those things. I was in a lot of pain and later realized my cornea had a layer almost peeling off and i should have given complete rest to my eyes and shut them a whole day with bandages or eye patch. My eyes would have healed a lot sooner and i would not be in so much pain if she had told me these things beforehand rather than me realizing it later!
