Dr. Leifeste is so personable. I always look forward to visiting with him. He is careful with his diagnosis and takes time to explain everything.

My recent visit with Dr. A. Leifeste happened to be a pleasant one. First I was greeted by his new assistant Ann with much kindness and respect. She spoke to me in a professional manner and made me feel welcome in the office. This approach helped me to relax before the doctor came in to see me. When I left the office I felt good about my visit.

The man has no bedside manner and he will send your medical records to anyone he wants.

Excellent

Dr. Leifeste explains everything well and has your best interest in mind. He takes his time and doesn’t rush you through the appointment.

We've been so impressed with Dr. Leifeste and his staff, who have all been kind and helpful. He is professional, smart, and straight forward and has a great (dry!!) sense of humor that puts his patients at ease. He is also open to input from other professionals and has a way of cutting through all the medical details/jargon to get to the no-nonsense treatment options and recommendations that patients appreciate. We are very grateful to have these great providers so close to home!

I couldn't be more satisfied about my health care by Dr. Leifesti. His treatments and instuctions are right on target, and very affective.

I am very happy I found Dr. Leifeste. He takes his time listening to your concerns and explains what is going on and any treatment options. His whole staff is very friendly and professional.

The worst Doctor I’ve ever seen he said he was mean he was bad and he did not want me as a patient when he entered the room he grabbed my hand like I was a man and he hurt my hand and I jerked away and said you don’t shake my hand like a man and I usually have my father on the phone and he would not allow it I called my dad and he told me put it down.! As a new patient to this clinic and as a medical doctor myself, I was concerned about a lump behind my knee. Dr. Leifeste addressed the lump in question and ordered appropriate tests, and he also noted some other concerns to be corrected to improve my overall health. He was very quick notifying me of the results of the tests, and I was relieved to be told my “lump” was a benign cyst!

Dr. Liefeste has been my PCP for years and he is fantastic. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a PCP. Very personable and real!

Dr. Leifeste & his team are top- notch professionals. Scheduling is on- time. Physicals are thorough, without feeling rushed. Everyone is very friendly.

I have had a good experience with Alan, and I’m glad I was told to visit him by a friend of mine. I have had no problems with his diagnosis and he is so, matter of fact that I leave there knowing exactly what I need to do to get better. If you want someone to sugarcoat your health then you don’t want to visit Dr. Leifeste.

I’ve been seeing Dr Leifeste, for about 8 years now. He’s always been very upfront about everything about my health. Granted if you want a Doctor who is going to sugar coat things well then I wouldn’t recommend him for that, but it’s only because he wants to explain everything to you and make sure you understand what he has told you. He’s a great doctor who pushes his patients to do be them best selves physically and in their personal life’s. He has been one of my favorite doctors I’ve seen and trust me I’ve had plenty of them! It was a good experience. It was the first time to meet the doctor and his staff. Dr. Leifeste was referred to me by several of my friends. I’m happy with my choice.

Dr. Leifeste was very thorough and professional and personable. He took the time with me to cover my complete medical history and made a plan to address current medical issues. I was very pleased with his care.

Dr. Leifeste listens, takes his time with me, has figured out and improved health issues I’ve had for 10 years. He is a kind and remarkable physician. I trust him.

I have finally have my Primary Care Physican, Dr. Leifeste, who I found to be be friendly, humorous & very easy to talk to, which is a Plus with me. My new patient visit was excellent, and his office and medical staff were warm and welcoming. I would and will, highly recommend Dr. Leifeste to anyone!

Yes I would recommend Dr Leifeste to friends and family. Takes time to explain your health issues usually can get an appointment when needed.

I like that he takes his time to talk to you and answers any questions you have. Everyone in his office are wonderful.

Dr. Leifeste seems to take his patients health personally. He does an excellent job of monitoring health issues and being able to control medical issues.

Dr. Leifeste is a likable doctor. He has chosen to connect with his patients just as the reviews imply. My visit was no different. Glad the rural area of Kingsland has a knowledgable doctor that is able to make one feel like they aren't just another "patient", but that each person is deserving to have his undivided and knowledgable attention. Excellent experience. Dr. Leifeste listened carefully and gave advice in a business like and professional manner. I intend to use his services as my general practitioner.

Next time we would like to have Bob's appointment With me present cause he doesnt hear as well and would like my help in listening. Also slowing down speech helps, ours was last appointment of the day and Bob had a very long wait while I was seen before him. Otherwise a very positive experience.

I am 57 yr old female. I have several health issues. I take several medicines also. Dr. Leifeste has been a great Doctor to me. He’s right here in my own town also. He’s thorough. He’s kind. Very informative and helpfull in meeting my health concerns.

This Dr is not personable at all. He doesn't listen to what concerns his patients have and address them he yelled in my ear once to quite smoking and that just made me want to go have a cigarette. He was about 5 inches away from my ear. He sent my husband to get MRI on his thigh when he was having problems with his foot hurting. He thinks he knows everything about your health but in actuality he only speculates. It's his way or no way. I quit going to him after he yelled in my ear. However my husband still sees him only to get refills on meds he needs. If you are thinking of seeing him be ready to be demoralized. He will tell you your feet are ugly and you are obese even though you are not. Be prepared for no diagnosis of what's going on. This Dr is not personable at all. Dr. Leifeste is always so wonderful and thorough when I go in for my annual care. His whole is nice and professional.

I was seen by the doctor very quickly after I arrived. He took the time to carefully listen to my problem and seemed to understand how best to treat me.

Dr.Leifeste is at the top of my list. Very polite & professional.

Excellent physician. Takes whatever time is necessary. Compassionate honest great sense of humor. SMART!

The only good thing I can say is he’s covered by my insurance and I don’t have to drive too far for an office visit. He is more concerned with his personal opinions than finding proper treatments for his patients. He’s tried to make me feel that I was making up symptoms, which led me to seek a second opinion. The doctor I got the second opinion from diagnosed me correctly and prescribed me medication. He’s also made it incredibly difficult for a family member of mine to be treated properly. The only reason I would see this doctor again is if I had the flu or something that a test could prove. Dr. Leifeste was my doctor. He was a typical know-it-all who made odd claims ("there are no almonds in almond milk!"). His assistant JJ is rude and impatient. All doctors should abide by the Hippocratic Oath, and yes, the idea that doctors should, as a starting point, not harm their patients seems obvious, and it sets the bar rather low. Of course no physician should set out to do something that will only be accompanied by predictable and preventable harm. Sadly, Dr Liefeste broke the golden rule. After unforeseen life changes, I could not make appointments as I was constantly traveling. JJ, as Liefeste's rep, began refusing to give needed refills. In frustration I told her I'd be finding a new doc. Well, they then claimed I had removed myself from their care and have refused all refills and appointments, leaving me without meds for diabetes and depression. Unprofessional and irresponsible, and flies in face of Hippocratic Oath.

He is a wonderful diagnostician with a fabulous bedside manner! Friendly and professional staff!

Dr. Leifeste was my doctor when he a part of the S.E.T.M.A. group in Beaumont, TX. He is very personable and care for the well being of his patients. I remember the day I got the news he was moving back to the Hill Country of Texas, I was devastated. He was my doctor for 10 years and knew as well as diagnosed a few things. I transferred from another doctor to Dr Leifeste as I had heard so many good things about him. I found out that it was all true. Dr Leifeste is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. He is thorough, considerate, personable and extremely knowledgable. In addition, his staff at the clinic are the nicest and most friendly and competent people. Dr. Lefieste is a rare find! He actually listens to what the patient is saying. He is current on research, treatments, and medications. He takes the time to learn about the patient which allows him to recommend treatment based on the patient's particular needs. I found Dr. Lefieste after a rather exhaustive search and I couldn't be more pleased. His kind and helpful staff is icing on the cake.

You go in expecting a normal co-payment and then the hidden costs are attached to your visit a month later. He ordered blood work done and then I am billed for the doctor visit, and an extra $3,000.00 just for blood work.

Dr. Leifeste is very compassionate & understanding. I am very glad to have found him & the Kingsland clinic.
