Ahmed Maki

My experience with Dr. Maki was excellent, he is absolutely amazing and supportive, smart doctor, I had a Clarifix sinus surgery in the office with Dr Maki he is incredibly knowledgeable doctor, He is the best surgen evvvvver. Highly recommend

Today was my 3rd visit with Dr. Ahmed Mahki for my son and yet another horrible and unprofessional experience. This man is so rude, impatient, arrogant and lacks any sensitivity when dealing with a patient and/or patient's parents. This was my 3rd visit for the same problem in where my son's ear is infected and leaking fluid and instead of being a caring and professional Dr. he insults and ridicules me and gives me a bad attitude and gets extremely defensive when i ask questions and offer my concerns. I have never been treated this way and specially at a Doctor's office. I will be filing a complaint with the medical board of california (mbc.ca.gov). anyone who has been mistreated and ridiculed by this unprofessional so call doctor contact the board and report him because I am certain there are many out there who has been victimized by this individual. An education does not guarantee good manners, common sense, sensitivity and respect. NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR. MAKI TO ANYONE!

This man does not care about you at all. During surgery he is not careful. I had an infection after surgery and got really sick during recovery simply because they were violent and scratched me up with the tubes they put in my mouth. Something that can easily be avoided. All to which resulted in the worst week of my life. Never again.

Although it is not expressively told, you will not be seen by Maki; rather his underwhelming and rude PA. She would not listen to anything I was trying to say. Jumped to conclusions about how I was feeling. Barely looked at my ears/nose. I was told to fill out a sheet with my medical history and my current symptoms that wasn't even looked at so she didn't know anything about me. This was not the first ENT I visited, I have sinus problems and every other ENT I have gone to looked at my sinuses but she did not. Im a chemist that gets exposure to chemicals which they would have know if they looked at my medical history; every other ENT has taken this seriously. I was flustered in the appointment as I was confused why I wasn't seen by Maki. When I was in the waiting area, the PA was aggressively complaining about another patient before me who was also upset Maki didn't see her. The way Maki and the PA were talking was extremely unprofessional, mind you they didn't realize I could hear.

Worst visit I have ever had to a doctor. Be aware that even though they don’t tell you, you’ll only be seen by his horrible PA on your first visit. This doesn’t make sense also because the appointment was specifically made by his front office for Tuesday because that is when he is In the Glendale office. Why does it matter if he won’t even be the one to see me. With regards to the PA, she wouldn’t listen to what I was trying to explain about my symptoms. Jumped to conclusions about how I was feeling. I have a dry nose all the time but when it’s cold it will be a little runny. As my appointment was at 8AM this was the case. So when she looked at my nose she was just “oh your nose is fine, it sounds like you can breath fine”. Well ma’am if you let me explain my symptoms more you would understand how I feel rather than telling me. I was extremely flustered from the moment she walked in because I was expecting Dr. Maki. She came in before I could even finish filling out the paperwork. I have sinus pain but she didn’t even let me get to that and she didn’t know that because she didn’t look at the paperwork I was Still filling out. As such she didn’t even know to check my sinuses. I think I was in the room with her for 5 minutes, probably less. Then as I sat in the office for someone else to fill my prescription (still confused on if I would see Maki) the PA begins bitching and ranting to Maki about how the patient before me was upset about ALSO not being seen by Maki on her visit. The PA was bitching for longer than she even saw me all while the other people in the office were awkwardly trying to get her to stop because I was sitting right there but of course she was on too much of a tirade to listen. I then ask the person filling my prescription if I will be seen by Maki and she responds “what for, you already saw the PA”. I say that my appointment was with Maki I wouldn’t have driven all the way here if I knew it wasn’t going to be with him directly. In a fluster she tells me to go back into the room and he’ll be with me. Him and the PA both come in and he just says how he doesn’t have to specify when appointments are made that he doesn’t see patients on the first visit. Insanely unprofessional. Was rude when he spoke to me. His PA is also extremely rude. Worst visit I have ever had to a doctor.

If there’s a zero star I will give it to this Doctor Ahmed Maki. The front desk people and him are very unprofessional. They’re letting the patients to wait for hours and catering patients who missed their visits a day before so they will push back patients who are scheduled that day. What’s worst is the interaction with this Doctor, he was staring at the computer the whole time and explaining the diagnosis for 5 minutes?! Will you consider it an interaction? I think there’s no ICD 10 code for

I wish I could give 0 review to this guy! I don’t know if I can even call this guy a doctor! He is very unprofessional and don’t even care for his patients! I had a scheduled surgery at 8:30 and he took the patient after me for the surgery and he made me wait from 6:30am till 1 pm till he did the surgery. Very unprofessional person

great experience, great staff, fixed my nose after I got hit in the face and was able to do it quickly. Good experience

I've been to Dr. Maki multiple times now for an assortment of procedures. Botox, lip filler, peels, and now for IPL laser for my face. My experience has been nothing short of 5 stars. The front desk staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The nursing staff is knowledgeable and and professional. Dr. Maki himself is excellent. He's an honest, caring, and extremely talented doc. I've never been more confident in a doctor, not to mention my skin has never looked so amazing.
