I've had these growths on the bottom of my feet for just about a year and a half. There was so much pain. It hurt to walk, burning shooting pains in my feet; both of them. Forget about being barefoot, I couldn't even tolerate it. Finally, when I couldn't take it anymore, I made an appointment with Dr. Karpati. She evaluated and gave me some cream and some instructions. Let me tell you, I just went to my follow-up today - PAIN FREE! I walked across my house barefoot for the first time in almost 2 years and cried. It didn't hurt. There was no pain. I couldn't wait for this appointment so I could tell her she quite literally changed my life. If you are in pain like that. Make an appointment! You could be the next that walks out of her office PAIN free and so much happier.

Dr. Karpati and her staff were, quite simply, the best! I felt like a person, not a number. My name is difficult because I go by my middle name, and no one ever bothers to get it right, until this office! They care so much. The office is pleasant, I didn’t wait long, and Dr Karpati addressed my concerns, answered all of my questions, and made me feel like she had all the time in the world just for me. She had to do a procedure, and explained everything, and made me feel comfortable. I left the office feeling so much better, and wishing that she worked on more than feet. I’d love to see her for everything.

Outstanding! Excellent! Dr. Karpati is an amazing healthcare provider and surgeon. I highly recommend her for any podiatry need! The staff is outstanding as well.

My wife visited and didn't feel any empathy or real care. The doctor basically told her she needed to buy $500 orthodics and she would never be able to walk more than 3 miles. She left her waiting for a long time and the service was awful. We miss Dr. Crane!!!!!

Really enjoyed my experience. Dr Karpati was very patient with all my questions about what the symptoms were and what they meant. Now back to walking normally, I’m glad to have been there.

I have seen Dr Karpati many times for all kinds of foot and ankle pains (and I have had many!) She is one of the sweetest doctors I’ve ever had! She is kind and considerate and my feet are happy! Great care from beginning to end. Dr. Karpati clearly helped me understand what to expect during and after my foot surgery as well as the measures I could take to most efficiently get back to my normal life. Could not have asked for better care or demonstrated expertise.

Unfortunately, my regular doctor (Dr. Stickney) was out the day I dropped a space heater on my toe. My visit with Dr. Karpati would have been a comedy of errors, IF I wasn’t in so much pain. 1) She looked at the x-ray and noted I had a hairline fracture in my toe. Then looked at my toe, saw the injury was on the other side, and said well we treat it all the same. 2) 2 HOURS in her office to numb my toe to remove about a third of the toenail. The injury was on the top quarter of my toe, but she cut the nail down to the quick. 3) Charged me $45 dollars for a wound kit that contained about $15 worth of supplies. This was supposed to last 7-10 days, but there wasn’t enough gauze or tape to last more than 5 days, so my husband went back to get more and was charged another $12 - $57 total!! 4) Although she said she was reviewing my allergies before writing prescriptions, she sent in a prescription for hydrocodone which is the first one listed in my chart under allergies. Spent the rest of the day trying to contact someone to let them know I couldn’t take that. Finally, someone messaged that they had forwarded the message to the Dr. and would let me know when they heard back from her. Never got a call or message and couldn’t sleep through the pain. 5) Found out the next day that the doctor did call in another prescription the night before, but neither the office or the pharmacy let me know. But, the prescription was an NSAID - yep, the second drug on the “Please don’t prescribe this for me list”. As I was still in pain and didn’t get any sleep, my husband went to pick it up anyway. Took the edge off, but it’s tearing up my stomach. So off to the pharmacy goes my dear husband to get me some Mylanta (yum!). 2nd night of little sleep. 6) Third night, no sleep as my non-injured toes were on fire. All. Night. Long!! The next day the doctor calls in Gabapentin (where have you been all my life?!) One bonus point for Dr. Karpati for sending in the prescription which allowed me a wonderful night’s sleep! Minus one point for the hubby having to make ANOTHER trip to the pharmacy. 7) Now two weeks later and everything is calmed down, EXCEPT where she cut the toenail off. That part is so sore, because she apparently cut INTO my nail bed! Had a follow-up with Dr. Stickney (love him even more now!) who needs to remove the granulation tissue in hopes that the toenail will grow over the bed. However, when he touches it, it is so tender and sore that I beg him to stop. Oh, and that hairline fracture — there isn’t one! The part of my toe that was injured by the heater is healing nicely. Dr Karpati is great! She has treated my foot issues and injuries for over 5 years and Dr. Karpati has always given excellent care! I have always found her very knowledgeable in explaining the reasoning behind her treatment recommendations and her explanations on what to expect during and after treatment. I have recommended her to family members and friends over the years and they have all been very happy to have her as their podiatrist. I received excellent care by Dr. Adriana Karpati. I was given detailed instructions as to how to care for my broken toe. I stubbed my pinkie toe and broke it in 3 places. That destroys the myth that nothing can be done for a broke toe. Without being in a boot, and having expert care, my toe would not have healed back in perfect form. I highly recommend her. From the first day I talked with Dr. Karpati about my foot pain, through surgery and recovery, she's been wonderful. She's easy to talk to, plus she's very caring and concerned about my foot health. She explained everything in detail and I knew what to expect during the whole process. I highly recommend Dr. Karpati and her team!

This doctor spent 20 minutes “selling” me on using their (foolish expensive purchase—according to research I did after-the fact) laser for toe fungus. She stated that the treatment was 90%+ effective. The cost? $1,000 cash. Reluctant due to the high cost, not covered by insurance, as it is defined as an aesthetic procedure, I was so anxious to rid my feet of the disgusting, nasty fungus which plagues all ten toes, I agreed to do the procedure. Because of my motivation, I was extra diligent to follow the doctor’s instructions prior to and following the laser treatment. The actual treatment only took about 20 minutes. Week s and months have passed. There is not a 1% improvement. My too-late research indicated that this treatment is not generally effective, but that doctors jumped to buy the expensive machines when the technology first appeared and were stuck. Hopefully, the ethical docs took their lumps & didn’t take money/give false hopes. Still pissed.

Dr. Karpati has been my Podiatrist since 2015, when I needed foot surgery, and been with her since. She’s always the professional and well versed with any foot and/or ankle problems. I greatly appreciate her and would definitely refer her to any of my friends.

I stubbed my pinkie toe and after 2 weeks decided to go see Dr. Karpati. I'm so glad I did. It was broken in 3 places. Without her care, my toe would not have grown back in proper form. Dr. Karpati is extremely knowledgeable and was very attentive to my needs, my age and my pain. I'm very impressed with her.

Dr. Karpati was concerned about my foot pain, explained the options I had. When I chose surgery, she was very detailed in what to expect in my recovery. I would highly recommend her for others!

I went to the podiatrist for plantar fasciitis. Dr told me about orthotics. She said they will correct my posture. Was skeptical and didn't believe that they could stop my feet from hurting. My feet was hurting every single day. So i talked to her assistant and she said that she can't do without her orthotics. So I thought about it and my feet kept hurting. I tried other orthotics but was never satisfied. I finally decided to go for the orthotics the Dr recommended. She made a mold of my feet and i had too wait for 3 weeks. The wait was so worth it. The orthotics are amazing and my feet do not hurt anymore. I'm on my feet from anywhere between 12 to 18 hours. Happy client and will tell everybody if you are having trouble with your feet I will highly recommend the orthotics.

Very dissatisfied with this doctor and the Keller location. This doctor is rude and arrogant. Is it common practice for a doctor to make fun of you and repeat a question you ask back to you in a tone that suggests you are stupid?? I expect more from a medical professional! Also, the front office has terrible customer service. Did not schedule follow up visits for my orthotics and promised to call me back to give me an answer on replacement orthotics and never called back. They also lied to me that my insurance denied coverage on the replacement orthotics. I contacted my insurance and they have no record of the request being denied or even submitted. Their Grapevine location called me to apologize. Also, the store in the front will be too busy letting you know how they can’t help you and that what you need is not in stock. I have since gone to Academy Foot and Ankle Specialists and Dr. Parr is awesome!! Insurance I have does in fact cover the orthotics I need and this office is much more professional and helpful! Dr. Karpati has a great bedside manner. She's very personable and takes the time to answer all of my questions. She has been my doctor for several years. She is consistent and reliable and very good at what she does.

Very knowledgeable, kind, caring, and understanding. One day I was about an hour late for my appointment because I was not familiar with her office at Keller. Dr Karpati took me in with a smile and concern for pain. I am glad she is my Podiatrist. She is the best!

Dr. Karpati has been a God send to me. Seven years ago she found a two inch splinter in my foot and was able to remove it, when all other doctors failed to find it for seven months . So I didn't hesitate to seek out her help again when I developed a painful callous on my foot which was making it very painful to walk. After seeing Dr. Karpati I feel like I could dance on tables. Dr. Karpati was my doctor 6 years ago when I broke my right foot in 5 places. She was so good when I had a terrible left foot accident on Thanksgiving Day I went straight to her. I had multiple breaks & a sliced tendon. It was a bad accident requiring surgery. She is excellent & I'm now recovering. Foot issues are terrible. Dr. Karpati is known for her expertise & I also love her caring yet direct no nonsense bedside manner. She knows her stuff & I trust her.So glad I have Dr. Karpati.

Nothing but good things to say about Dr. K! She has so much experience! She is able to tell what is better addressed surgically vs. conservatively and now vs. later. Sometimes there are consequences to waiting! She tells it like it is and the reasons behind her opinion. Ultimately, you make choice! I followed the conservative treatment plan she recommended and did great! Who knows if I will ever need surgery in the future, but if I do, I guarantee Dr. Karpati will be the first person I call!

She not only misdiagnosed my daughter's medical condition but tried to sell an orthotics that she doesn't need. When I brought my daughter to see a different doctor, it was confirmed that her diagnose was wrong and my daughter doesn't need the orthotics she recommended. So be beware.

I have to disagree and feel like I need to put in my experience because of what you wrote! I was seen by Dr Karpati last year and can tell you for certainty three things: She will treat you like she would treat her family, knows more about the foot and ankle than you can imagine and recommends what she does because it is in YOUR best interest! I was fortunate to have found her through recommendation. After seeing 3 other doctors who could not help me (Dr Karpati was my 4th!) , she was the ONLY one who took the time to listen and figure out what was going on with my foot and ankle. She has almost two decades of experience and got my diagnosis right! She explained things so I could understand, and thanks to her advise and my orthotics, I have been able to get my pain under control! She is an expert and yes, is a true believer in the benefits of orthotics for those who need them. If she says your daughter needed them, then she probably still does! She said I needed surgery. She scheduled it right away. Luckily I got a second opinion. My other Md. had me wear a boot for 2 months. It saved me Time, pain, surgery and money. Would not recommend.
