I was referred to Dr. Overman to have EMDR therapy, but I eventually chose him to be my main therapist. He's wise, steady, gentle, patient, and intuitive. I especially like that he treats me as an equal, and we make decisions together about my care.

I saw Dr. Overman after being referred by a councilor I was seeing from WPCS for PTSD. After the appointment, I asked for his feedback or conclusion. I never got any information about what I am suffering from. I filled out the proper paperwork to receive his opinion or notes. He refused to do so. Why did I see him after being referred by Andrea Miller? She would not give me information as well as to what his opinion was. Why go to counseling if they don't give me feedback? They got a paycheck!!
