Dr. Ahmad is a very caring Dr.. I have enjoyed my time visiting him. I thank him for his concern, honesty and his great sense of humor!

Kind, caring and excellent doctor. Would highly recommend him. After 5 years of epidurals lasting 3-4 months when I changed to Dr. Ahmad I got 7 months of relief. He explains everything and makes you feel at ease.

Very thorough

I went to see Dr. Ahmad about a chronic back problem only to learn that he specializes in acute pain management, post injury. While it would have been nice for someone to explain this to me before I made the appointment and took the day off to go see him, it was absolutely worth the time. I learned that I was right to discontinue my relationship with my former provider, and that my previous treatment plan was inadequate and incorrect. I also learned that I had more options than my previous doctor presented. Dr Ahmad was very honest and direct, he explained to me the type of specialist I did need to see and the types of procedures I should look into, and made a referral. I appreciated his honesty and transparency, as well as his willingness to send me to the best possible specialist for my specific needs. No ego, only my best interest in mind. Every doctor should be like this.

Dr Ahmad is one of best doctors I have ever seen. Explains things well and listens to you. most of doctors I’ve seen last few years never seem like they are listening or even care.

Injection went very well explained what he was doing. Only problem I had slipped and fell when getting up from table after injection. Fell on my right knee and twisted rt foot staff was great in checking me out. Sent me to ortho express for xrays everyone was very kind.

I was educated on my care plan. I learned why I was not given all the shots in my back at one time.

Doctor was very thorough in his exam to test for my nerves on my wrist and my fingers

Visit went perfectly. He explained everything step by step. Couldn’t be any any happier.

Dr. Ahmad was wonderful! He was personable with excellent bedside manner. He explained the procedure and kept me calm and occupied. I would highly recommend Dr. Ahmad.

I was not happy with my first appt. seemed like he was annoyed with my questions Didn't help when everyone has to wear a mask and I couldn't see his face. Mask are no longer required. The next four appts. I had went much better. Very friendly and concerned. My shots whet very well and he answered all my questions. He was genuinely sorry he couldn't help me after the shots didn't work and referred me to a surgeon. The only thing I didn't like (and I'm sure this was an Orthoillinois policy) was that when I went in for an appt. with Dr. Ahmed I had to wait to get another appointment 2 weeks out to get my shot. When I've had appointments with my knee and hip doctor they did my shots on the day of my appointment.

Nothing else to tell

Dr. Ahmad provided a very thorough review of my MRI and provided a great deal information regarding my condition and my therapeutic options. I was very happy with the amount of time and information offered me by Dr. Ahmad.

Second time that he has injected my neck. Great guy and almost painless procedure. I drive 2 hours each way to have him take care of my pain

I was sent back to Dr. Ahmad to discuss the pain I was having in my shoulder possibly being caused from arthritis in my neck. After discussing what I had experienced Dr. Ahmad felt that a second injection wasn’t necessary at this time unless I wanted to move forward with it. I agreed with his suggestion to hold off awhile. I feel that Dr. Ahmad has helped me make the best choices regarding my situation so far, and I will continue to use his services.

Very personable

Very nice person. Took time to explain things and give advice. First doctor I’ve seen in a long time that I felt actually cared about my health and why I was there.

Really like this doctor. Expert in his field combined with friendliness & demonstrating respect & concern for the me, the patient. I know in the medical world, there's a general push to process patients within 15 min (or so) -thinking this stradegy brings in the most money, and still gv adequate care. But it is short sighted in effective care givin & I believe, as a business decision, as i know many people will not seek medical care when they should, because of the calloused & hurried feel they get when they're in an especially vulnerable (humbled) position -deciding whether to seek care or not. (I know this isn't a totally fair accessment as staffing shortages come into the medical care picture, but this is my take & the strong public opinion I've encountered).

Dr, Ahmad is very thorough, kind and funny.

Dr. Ahmad took time to review my health history that John had inputted into my profile and discussed with me what would be the course of action. I was very impressed that he called me when my X-ray results were in and told me his findings and his suggestions of next steps. He was very personable and listened to my concerns .

I waited 45 minutes in room. He spent 5 minutes with me. Was rude and disrespectful. Didn't listen to anything I was saying. Gave me no medication for my back pain. I told him I was in Fl, his comment was, there are a lot of places to get drugs in FL. I'm 68 yrs old. I would never see him again.

Staff super friendly and Dr Ahmad took the time to explain everything to me to help me with my pain and get it hopefully fixed! Super happy!!!

Dr Ahmad explains every thing about the procedure in detail and makes sure you are at ease. He is a very caring person and makes sure the procedure is as painless as possible.

He was 45 minutes late to my appointment. He did not explain or offer an apology which I found rude. He laughingly mocked a question I had. He did not listen well to my request for a script for deep tissue massage. He did not even know what that was.

Very kind and explained everything so I could understand. So glad to have him as my specialist.

Excellent clinical skills. Literally painless injections!!! However did not listen to my concerns and I felt he had literally stereotyped me and dismissed information I felt was important.

I have been going to Dr. Ahmad for over three years, and am always kept informed and, yes, comforted when seeing him. I appreciate being treated like an intelligent participant in my diagnosis and treatment.

I think Dr. Ahmad and his team all are professional and kind. Dr. Ahmad explains procedures well and the relief I feel after my injections are phenomenal. He has a great sense of humor and smiles often. This helps when patients who already have a great deal of anxiety over new procedures. God bless you in all you do

I had a great experience. Everyone was kind & professional. The doctor has a great sense of humor. It helps when the doctor listens to you a & doesn't rush through the appointment!

Dr Ahmad is very efficient, patient and explains what’s going to happen and how it will feel. I have had multiple epidurals with Dr Ahmad. Plus he’s smiles.

He is very kind and soft-spoken. I liked him very much and would highly recommend him.

Very dismissive. After one question about issue he felt was not what he was discussing pointed me to the exit with none of the literature he said I would receive.

I was seen right away with no waiting. The X-ray technicians were very pleasant. Dr. Ahmed discussed the choices of care I should move forward with. My father had seen Dr. Ahmed for pain in his hip and liked Dr. Ahmed very much.

When I want to see dr. Ahmed I had no pain in my back he actually thanked me for coming in because that way I was able to establish with them in case the pain came back and he could do education and teaching about my spine at this apt He talked about the discs and alignment and the kind of injection that would be used if the pain came back. He also gave me his card and told me I could call his office st any time.

After our first appointment with Dr. Ahmad we knew he was the right guy for this job, he is kind, funny, a great human being but, most of all an expert when it comes to this kind of problems, my wife went in with neck and back pain, he started my wife on some therapy sessions, making clear that he didn't want to go straight to injections or surgery because he was almost sure that therapy was going to be efficient in fixing my wife's problem. He was right on his decision and now my wife is happy and smiling again. Thank you Doctor, and once again I insist, on your business card and certifications you are missing the title of Magician or perhaps Miracle Performer. I would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Ortho Illinois, from the front desk ladies to the doctor's assistants. Shout out to Franie who can also speak Spanish and was always willing to help with translating and was really kind with us.

Was very nervous for my first Spine procedure. Dr. Ahmad and his staff made me feel at peace and relaxed.

I was very comfortable discussing my medical concerns with him. Educated me on my condition and answered all my questions. He gave me option treatments. Highly recommend.

Back injection for pain relief

Very impressed with Dr. Ahmad and looking forward to follow up care with the good doctor!

Staff was excellent Dr. Ahmad was extremely rude and sarcastic. He made me feel very uncomfortable and made me feel like I wasn't allowed to ask questions about my own care. I will seek another doctor.

I got my xrays loaded onto a disk and will take them elsewhere. The OrthoIllinois staff outside of Dr. Ahmad was excellent and kind and the wait was short.

I didn’t have a long waiting time. Dr Ahmad was very pleasant and the girls who registered me were as well. I was happy to hear that no injections or surgery seemed necessary at this time, but a few weeks of PT might help improve my range of motion and posture.

First time meeting Dr. Ahmad for some hand nerve testing. Dr. Ahmad was very friendly, informative and quite an interesting man of wisdom. He talked to me through the entire process of testing which detracted me from the jolts of current going thru my arm. Very pleasant visit! Thank you!
