Dr. Zahra S Cook

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Zahra Cook for a few years now. We could not ask for a better dentist. She cares about her patients and always makes sure I am comfortable throughout any procedure. Her staff is wonderful as well. I recently had my teeth professionally whitened and I am super impressed with the results! Previously, I had tried over the counter whiteners and special toothpaste, with less than satisfactory results. I am known for my big smile, and found myself becoming more and more self-conscious about the appearance of my teeth. As such, I stopped smiling as much. Dr. Cook explained to me how our teeth naturally tend to get discolored over time as we age, and my being an avid coffee drinker did not help! I saw results after the first treatment. From there, my teeth became noticeably whiter each day, as I followed the protocol. I completed the final treatment today. Wow! I am not exaggerating when I say they are bright white now. How wonderful it feels to smile again! I am so glad that I had this done. As an added bonus, I am able to maintain my beautiful smile at home as needed with the aid of my custom trays and whitening gel. The custom trays are soft but durable. They are very comfortable to wear. I also want to say that at no time, were my teeth sensitive throughout the treatment. If you have been thinking about having your teeth professionally whitened, I would highly recommend you do it! Went in for exam and cleaning. They took WAY too many xrays. Then the hard sell started about a deep cleaning. Told me would be $1800. Then with 3 of them looking at me Dr Cook asks what is the hesitation like duh who would pay $1800 for a cleaning. Then proceeded to ask if I can afford it lol! I have been going to Dr. Cook for about 15 years now and don't trust anyone else but her! Not only is Dr. Cook amazing at what she does, but what sets her apart from other dentists, is how she genuinely cares about each patient that sits in her chair. Every time I walk through her door, I know i'm going to be in the best hands.

Today I had a very difficult wisdom tooth extraction along with two other teeth pulled. Originally 3 dentist told me I would have to be put down to get a sideways laying wisdom tooth out. Dr. Zahra saved me so much money! She pulled the tooth without sedation (this saved me about thousand dollars if not more) , it took her a little time but with help from her kind husband, the other Dr. Cook & Maria the dental assistant they were able to make comfortable due to my sever anxiety, I am thankful to have finally found a skilled dentist who took care of all my dental needs in 1 office, no referral necessary. Tina in the front desk is incredibly helpful with payment options and scheduling my appointments. This office has been really patient and SKILLED and I am forever grateful! Staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Cook is great with my young son, he loves going to the dentist! She is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain conditions & options. My husband, son & I have all had dental work done without any complications & with good results.
