Mr. Zafar Rehmani

I was a previous patient of Dr. Rehmani, for the past 4 years. he would always give me advice, of my mental health, and how I could handle, the next time, something goes wrong. I liked him alot!

Sadly, my problem with Dr. Rehmani is not with the doctor himself, but with his staff. That being said, the doctor is ultimately responsible for the mistakes of the employees he hires, and their incompetence. I have had a terrible experience with the ladies who work for him. They sent my insurance claims correctly for my first appointment of the calendar year (2021), but then for reasons beyond me, they sent the claims for further appointments that same year to my prior year's insurance. I have instructed Dr. Rehmani's employees time and time again to correct the issue, but they still ignore my requests entirely. They have no respect for patients and I am at my wit's end. Unless he replaces his employees, I will have no choice but to fire him.

I've been on my anxiety medication for a decade prior to seeing Dr. Rehmani. Hoping to better my life, I told him I was struggling with addiction. He then said that it was a breach of confidence and said he'd only see me if we started to "ween off" that medication that has allowed me to hold a job, maintain friendships, and otherwise be able to function by lowering the dosage to 25%. Honestly, I'd be seeking council if not for another doctor during COVID. I may still. The idea that you would take a patient with anxiety disorder off anxiety medication because they asked if there were medications to help with addiction is mind blowing. Mind that the addiction was an upper and the anxiety medication a downer. Willing to release the audio of the appointment, as it was a telephone call, I told him it was a death sentence and he said to find a new doctor. . .during COVID. My children and I both have multiple mental health issues. I have been seeing Dr. Rehmani for about 10 years. I get frustrated when other patients are complaining about the wait time because he tends to run behind (15-30min). I want to tell them it's because he takes time to listen to patients that might be struggling at that moment. He doesn't rush through appts just to collect money or take breaks in-between. Shit doctor! He took my kids meds away for depression and didn’t give her anything else while she was in his care for inpatient treatment. Three days she sat in a room with nothing no help no food and no meds. WORST DOCTOR EVER!! All about the money. POS!! Also won’t give me papers cause it shows he denied her care. DOUCHE BAG!

It was a great experience. I havre gone and has a relative that goes regularly. Great experience.

So who do we call? This phone number is never answered and doesn’t have a voicemail. So does anyone actually even see these doctors ever???

Dr. Rehmani has been a great resource for my family. He has been very understanding towards our issues and has come up with some great solutions.

I have been a patient here for a few years. Dr. Rehmani is caring and thorough.

I have been going to Dr R for 10 years now. I unfortunatley suffer from bipolar disorder. He diagnosed me and also gave me the exact medication I needed to function as a normal person. He is very insightful and intelligent. I would refer him to other people that are well educated.

Dr Rehmani has made my life wonderful! I was missing out on so much due to depression. Now I look forward to the new day and all the joy it has in store for me.

He put me on a med every week, and never really listened to my concerns.

Several times Dr. Rehmani has confused me with another patient. The visits are about 15 minutes at most.

I was a previous patient of Dr. Rehmani (several years ago). At that time, the care I received him was ok. After I was uninsured, I couldn't even get a message to him to see about coming in because his staff is so rude and go out of their way to make it difficult to get through to your dr. After waiting 2 months for my appointment, it was canceled on a voicemail 6 days prior to said appointment. When I made the appointment for my daughter, I gave all of my insurance information and was never told the doctor would not see out of network patients (mind you, we're in network in 2 months). Nope, just cancel with a "call your insurance company". Funny enough, I had received his name from my insurance company. STL has such an absolute lack of mental health coverage for kids.

I have always been able to talk to the doctor and get my problems resolved. Coming here is like dealing with trusted family. Would not consider changing doctors

Daughter saw Rehmani for YEAR she was attending school full time and good grades when she first saw him.... now after all the meds etc she can't attend school full time and her grades plumeted. Made an appt with another Dr for a 2nd opinion and Rehmani blacklisted her from coming back to see him. Keep looking for a new Dr. If a Dr is going to do this then I'd say you need better and so now we're looking again for a new one. I have no respect for a Dr who would treat someone like this.... we should all be able to get a 2nd opinion without being blacklisted and left abandonded.... there is already a shortage of mental health options out there as it is! I have been a patient of Dr. Rehmani for years. He is the only one to find the right combination of meds to control my medicine resistant condition. I recommend him all the time

Dr. Rehmani has brought me back to life. I cant remember the last time i felt like this. Highly recommend him to anyone!!!

My husband and I both see Dr. Rehmani and are very happy with him. He is very kind and listens intently on what I have to say. I would have no problems recommending him to anyone. We have had no problems with his office staff either, they are very nice:)

I love Dr. Rehmani. He is a very good psychiatrist and wont go anywhere else. I have seen him for over 10 years!!

On of the worse Psychiatrist I have ever seen. He did not want to care or treat my son unless he was taking medication. His office staff are unprofessional as they are rude, mishandle insurance claims, and do not post payment to your account in a timely manner. I would stress caution to anyone under his care as I feel you would be putting yourself and your child at risk. To sum it up, I do not or will not recommend this Psychiatrist to anyone in St. Louis, MO. On of the worse Psychiatrist I have ever seen.
