Mr. Yurii D Borshch

I credit Dr borscsh for an extra year of extreme pain then I needed. He is a horrible Dr. He is all about money. I went to him for a yr and saw him in person 3 times for a minute before each procedure. He performed procedures that I didn't want. He would talk me into it, then he wouldn't be interested in the results. He would give me an injection and at the same time hand me an appt card for 6 wks out. Never calling or checking to see if the procedure worked or if I was still in pain. He didn't care. None of the procedures worked and in between, I was in awful pain. I would call and he would put me on these meds that weren't helping. Finally, I called him in tears and begged him for something that will actually help. He charges $35 for each urine test. I had 6 procedures done through him. I spent thousands of dollars and almost 100 percent of the time I was in awful pain. I could've had my surgery a year sooner. I could've had my year back that he caused me by being a Dr that only cares about the dollar sign. I have a new Dr now. I tell him why I switched and he just shakes his head. Terrible doctor, worse office staff If you want an arrogant doctor who will only see you if you can afford to constantly receive injections, an.office who loses paperwork and won't return calls, have.to come in every 3 months for a UA, and have your pain meds held hostage then this is where you want to go

The doctor's and nurse's are very knowledgeable and they answer all my questions. All the staff are great here. I have to change my review, i told them that I didn't want to do anymore injections. I had new pain from the first set of injections in my back so they told me to find another pain management so I did. If you don't do what they want they don't help you. I have been a patient of Dr. Borshch for several years and with each visit I've left his state of the art office refreshed and without pain. His staff is most attentive and courteous. Great doctor, cares a lot about his patients. He listens to them, and does all he can do to give them relief. I have been seeing him for the past 5 years. He has done the best at treating my pain and has agreed with me on something's. This doctor is the best at what he does. You won't find another doctor that will help his patients like he does. Dr. Borshch, PA Emily and His Staff are Amazing. I would recommend Dr. Borshch to anyone in Chronic Pain. They make the Pain Management experience very Personal. We are elderly, He Respected us, He LISTENED. He used the information we gave him at our first appointment (18 months ago) to treat us within days. We no longer Stress out that our medications are inadequate. We no longer worry about our care being treated the same as everyone else. Dr. Borshch LISTENS. He is willing to look for procedures that will Stop Chronic pain rather than just covering it up. Dr. Borshsh is a great Dr. His office staff is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Trying to get them to answer the phone is almost impossible and even worse trying to get them to return a phone call.Iput in a call and here it is,4 days later,no call from them. I called 8!! x!!!! I wish he would see these reviews. Maybe he would re-think his office staff.

He is a GREAT doctor and I have zero to say about him but the front desk staff is ridiculous. Literally had to drive there multiple times to get them to finish and send paperwork to my other doctors because they NEVER answer their phones. This held up all my other my appointments with other DRs and then the imaging company I was supposed to be going to finally called me and asked me to drive to Precision Spine & Pain Management’s office and get them to call them back because they had been trying for over a week with no answer or call back and it was holding up my insurance from clearing. Very irritating that I am having to relay messages. It’s not hard to answer a phone....it’s literally part of your job.

Over priced pain clinic with little solutions for my husband back pain. He was also prescribed a nerve pain medication that was also over priced and caused him horrible side effects. Try being in the passenger seat when someone gets an onset of medication induced severe dizziness. The office staff was less then pleasant but after reading other reviews and their response I am sure your just going to chalk that up to "you must be a pill popper" it's sad that a business can not actually read a review and take a look at their own doing and think maybe we can learn from this and do better. What if that day we didn't treat someone with respect or we forgot to fax something in a timely manner. Thankfully my husband has found a new pain management doctor since. CT set up in a timely manner. Staff was very attentive and not only ask him how he was doing but me as I waited to drive him home and everyone around for that manner. I was recommended to Dr. Borochsh By Dr. Jordan Jude. I went there for five visits only in one I felt a little bit better on the last one I had no results I tried to talk to the doctor but he sent me his assistant I complained about my pain and the girl went and talk to himShe came back and gave me a shot on my arm but that even didn’t help I left a very disappointed I was told to go for another follow up which I did I talk to his assistant and she said that She was going to refer me back to my Surgeon, They scheduled me for another follow up which I didn’t see no sense in going are you still well thanks the doctor for Trying he has a wonderful personal but The communication system to the office it is very inappropriate they never answer they keep switching you from one recording to another one and at the end they hang up on you I don’t think that’s very good communication system to an office I will thank everybody in that office,But sometimes the truth hurts.Happy holidays to everybo

Awful experience! I hadn’t been to a “pain” doctor in almost 6 years since I had a ACDF C5-C7. Dr. Borshch put me on a “anti seizure” medication called Topamaz because he couldn’t prescribe narcotics due to dealing with the DEA...Worst drug on the planet! I explained to him and his nurse I have a very dangerous job and he still prescribed me this to me. It made me feel worse than I did before seeing him. Almost “zombie” like! I feel sorry for the patients he treats like this. Terrible experience AND I still have pain!

I can remember my first day, I had from C1- C-7, it was either displacedor herniated disc's, I had T-1 through T-12, in the same manner, also L1 through L-5, also in the same way as the others, I had been told that I would not get any kind of relief from all my Doctors, but two, a Nurse Practitioner, and Dr. Yurii Borshch, he asked me to let him know which was my worst pain, neck, arms, back, legs, or feet, well at this time Doc all of them, I have trouble with the simple task to stand, sit, bend, sleep, or smile, people say you look angry all the time, i said to them if you had my pain, you wouldn't be able to smile either. Because of the insurance way, Dr. Borshch had no choice but to follow the process of elimination, but he did simplify to achieve it in a shorter time, he did say that it would take approximately three times on the ablation process, very seldom does it happen in two ablation, in my case it may be the latter, he was right. I was referred to him by a Doctor from BAMC, the Medical Community is a small community, so if you do right to the people that have been referred to you word gets back to the Doctor's that referred the patient (me) I have been talking to my Neurosurgeon on and off, but he is in the Military, so hes gone now, any way he was cool, just like Dr. Borshch, thank you very much for the relief I'm getting and most of your staff was awesome, Dr. Borshch I can't thank you any other way, you better believe that if I know someone that has any type of injury close to mine, I will bring them directly to your offices, again thank you for my relief, I know where to go if i have a reoccurrence later on in life. Dr. Borshch has taken great care of me. I was told by 2 orthopedic surgeons that I needed to have surgery. After my treatments I feel better now without surgery. Thanks Dr. Borshch.

After years of pain problems, I finally am getting relief. I have two neck fusions, a back to hip fusion, a chest fusion, I have broken my neck five times, I have arthritis in my neck, scoliosis on everything that isn't fused, and lastly I have degenerative disc and bone disease. I had the blocks done on my neck and back and just recently completed my 2nd set of Radiofrequency Laser Ablation on my neck. I read about it online first and got really worried. What I am going to tell you is this. Lay down with ice immediately when you get home and do nothing for 2-3 days. I'm serious. Keep the ice continually rotating. It feels like a sunburn under your skin. I wasn't so worried with the 2nd set so I was up and about alot . My healing time was twice as long. Would I refer Dr. Borshch to my friends and family. Very bad experience at the lockhill selma office. Very lazy and unprofessional staff. Mary Jane, Debra, Ericka and Brenda are worthless staff members of just a decent doctor. You are better off with another clinic. Sadly this physician lost our business because of his office staff.

I have never experienced such a negative experience with an office staff before. Mary Jane, Debra, Ericka, and Brenda are very unprofessional and un compassionate. I needed the staff to fax some paperwork to my insurance company so that I can get my short term disability approved. It took them 2 weeks even after Cigna reached out to them twice. Once they finally got around to sending my paperwork, they charged me 50$!!! Find another doctor, I will complain to my primary physician for referring me to such a horrible practice. I have been a patient suffering from combat injuries of Dr. Borshch's for over a year, and his staff and him are all very excellent at being both professional and having sincere compassion for their patients and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is suffering from chronic pain.

I can't begin to tell you how much DR. BORSHCH, and his PA Emily have helped me. I can now get up in the mornings and stand up straight. I had to have treatment for my neck and back, and would recommend them absolutely.

Wow!!! Thank you Dr. Borshch for helping me out with this. You went above and beyond to resolve this situation. I just received a call from the pharmacy to let me know. It is a relief just being heard and knowing there is hope that tomorrow the pain will be controlled until the pain block can be obtained from the ins co Staff stated would call script co. to answer a couple of questions so that they would release my pain meds (while spending an insane amount of time and money trying to get ins co to pay for non drug treatment) the calls were never made. I guess it only matters to me that I am in constant pain for which I can take nothing due to allergies. Doc seems great, if only his staff could do what they say they will. I get to spend at the very least three more days in pain with no relief in sight after spending hours on the phone desperate for some help. I have been under Dr Borshch’s Care for over 4 years. He is such an important person in my life. I am not able to walk without his help. I have a serious degenerative Disease and I receive steroid injections, oblations and medication from Dr Borshch. I have learned so many things about my condition from him and his staff . His procedures are spot on and have given me a new life. Although my condition has disabled me, he still works diligently to help me feel better and feel like a normal person who is not crippled by their pain. I don’t know what I would do without him. I absolutely love and appreciate everything about Dr. Borsch and his PA Emily. I have dealt with all the staff on more than one occasion and have never had an issue with anyone. They return calls in a timely manner and have always been kind. I have a significant health history and have a lot of pain issues. Both the doctor and PA have truly been a Godsend and advocated for my pain issues. They are not one to increase medication, just to increase, they may change your medication rather than just continue to increase your medication which I truly appreciate as I want to take the lowest dose as possible and avoid any type of addiction. They listen to you and look for ways to improve your pain and daily living. Both are very strict with your medication and refills (as they should, they have state laws to follow and personal responsibility). One thing his patients cannot do is self medicate if you have more pain, instead call the office and they will look for alternatives, you may have to go in. You must follow all his instructions, guidelines and requirements if on any medications...he is very strict. He is conservative as he wants to make sure he treats you appropriately. He explains options options and outcomes. I've had trigger point injections and then ended up having RFAs on lower back and cervical. I am a very high risk patient due to a blood clot disorder, but he made me feel safe and explained what would happen. Dr. Borshch gave me hope at a time when I didn't think anyone could. He and the staff were great about me starting a pain management plan that would work for me. Dr. Borshch performed a nerve block to my tailbone and I am now off the pain medicines and able to sit again.

Worst place to go. My husband saw dr borshch 1 time in over a year. Got him hook on narcotics for pain and then drop him. All cause of staff saying he was rude to staff when we complain since the beginning. Mary jane was suppose to call me back yesterday. Nada. Shame on you dr borshch. Is that what you're about. Getting patients hooked on opioids no pain management then saying bye. Your staff is very unprofessional rude and uneducated in patient care.

Dr. Borshch is VERY PROFESSIONAL, KIND, and concerned about your HEALTH. He listens to you not trying to rush you in and out. He wants what is best for you in your recovery. He's not like most doctors, where it's all about the money, he's more about making you better.
