My husband uses Dr Deychak and has been using the office for 5 years. The staff that answers the phone is horrible. Through the years we have had our issues. Currently, they won't refill his beta blocker or blood pressure Med's because he is due for a checkup. My husband tried to make an appointment when he left his last appointment but they switched his follow up to yearly now and the schedule was out that far. YES he should have set a reminder to make an appointment but he did not. As soon as the pharmacy said he needed an appointment he called for an appointment. The earliest they would give him was 7/24. But still would not fill his meds. (And to my knowledge the have not consulted with the doctor about this). After reading not to suddenly stop taking beta blockers and his wife's urging he called again today. The moved his appointment to 7/20 but still said he needs to go without his meds until the appointment. This is a man that has kept all of his follow ups for 5 years, who overlooked when he was due. How hard would it be to give him 10 days of medicine if they are not comfortable giving him the whole 30 days. I can't imagine any medical professional telling a heart patient just to go without medicine for 10 days. The office has gotten very big now.
