This is the 2nd time I have see Dr Pershman for an EMG. As in my prior visit, he explained everything in detail and told me ahead of time what exactly what he was going to do during the test. Although it needle involved, it wasn’t too terribly bad. I highly recommend Dr Pershman if you want a dr who explains everything, and does what he can to calm your fears.

Referred to Dr. Pershman for nerve and muscle testing. Explained the tests well and performed the tests in a professional manner. Poorly explained the results of the tests in office and offered advice which was what I have already been following. Did not post the test results to the online website my medical group provides for its patients, thus I have yet to receive the official diagnosis.

I was referred to see Dr. Pershman for nerve testing. He explained the procedures well and was professional conducting the tests. What I found was lacking were the explanation of diagnosis. Also failed to post the test results to the dedicated website for patients within the medical group, so I was never provided an official diagnosis.

He was wonderful and very concerned. Always had time to stop in and check on Doug even when he was on his way somewhere else.

I was referred to Dr. Pershman for physical Medicaid need (i.e. compression socks) and all he wanted to talk about was pain management and what pain med I was taking.

He is an extremely rude and unprofessional man. Did not review my records before my appointment. They changed my appointment time from 2:30pm to 9:30 am without notifying me, then when I arrive at 2:15pm I was written down as a no show and then treated like a piece of sh@t. He had his back toward me for 20 minutes while he casually reviewed my records then when I inquired why he hadn't looked at them prior to my arrival I was told that his nurse did but for him to review them would've been a waste of his precious time because of all the 'no shows' they get. Nice dig at me even tho I wasn't a no show. When I politely informed him that I didn't think he was a good match for me and. Refused to change into the gown for the exam he turns it around and tried telling me that he would not treat me if I didn't follow through with the exam. No nurse took my vitals and he caused serious trauma to me from the blood pressure cuff being so tight that all the little capillaries in my hand burst!! What a quack a roo!!! Avoid him! He can barely speak English anyway so you're better off going with someone from the USA!!!

I saw Dr. Pershman mid February. He was one of the finest Dr's I have met with great bedside manners and took lot of time reviewing my medical records and asking Q's on my injury and the surgeries that was done before.. I was in lot of pain because of the severity of the injury and a frozen shoulder.. He had lot of pacients with me. . I would recommend him without any hesitation.. He is very compacante and a caring Dr..
