Dr. Yongxin Chen

Dr. Chen is wonderful! I needed a few shots and some asthma medications, but I was able to fly and visit my daughter and was feeling better with 12-24 hours of treatment.

I was born with allergies and moved around the USA, no Dr could get my allergies/asthma under control until Dr Chen. I have been a patient since 2004. Before finding Dr Chen I often got chronic bronchitis. I would easily get pneumonia. Dr Chen is perfect, he will make sure it is not a allergy blast before prescribing antibiotics. Absolutely terrible service, barely 5 minutes of the doctors time was allocated and they overcharged an insane amount that the insurance refused to pay. I will never be going back.

This doctor suggested I take some tests and assured me my insurance would cover everything and that my out of pocket was only 30 dollars. I had asked the receptionist, the nurse and the doctor this question, so at the time i was pretty convinced but this was a total lie and I ended up with a massive bill and 0 explanation. on top of that, the doctor only actually spent 5 minutes with me and the waiting time was incredibly long. I have complicated asthma caused by allergies. Dr. Chen is very competent and also kind. He explains what is doing and why and he wants to hear back from you if the plan is not working. The office staff are the best; it’s a well oiled machine. Dr Chen also responds to messages through the portal timely.

Dr. Chen is the best-of-best. He found sinus and asthma related issues no other Dr. Could figue out and effectively treat. He saved my life. He is my hero!

Quick shots, good doctors

I have been seeing Dr. Chen for three years for asthma and allergies. The allergies were so bad that I broke out in a rash from just going outdoors. I had the scratch tests and found out I was very allergic to tree and grass pollens. I start getting injections. They helped me so much. I can now go outdoors and never get a rash. This has made my life so much more enjoyable. I can go on picnics and to b-b-q's and never have to worry about the unsightly rash and itching .

Dr. Chen did a great job diagnosing all of my allergies and put me on a fast track to overcome most of them. Great allergist.

Very disappointed at Dr. Yongxin Chen. I chose him as my allergies doctor because he is on the network on my health insurance. But after the interview he asked me if I wanted an skin test. In less that 3 minutes after I agree there was a nurse ready to do the test. Doctor Chen did not explain to me that the insurance would not cover much of that test in his lab, and did not tell me how much would it be and did not explained that I could get much less of an out of pocket expenses if I had done this test at the lab that works with my health insurance. In less that 2 minutes after he left the office there was a nurse doing the test. I can not have a positive opinion of a doctor that does not see patiences but "customers". Beware.
