I am so thankful for Dr Melman (and staff) in helping to identify the specific arrhythmia I have. He mapped a plan with an implanted device to detect it after a few trips to ER that we’re inconclusive. The device worked and showed where in the heart the problem(s) were coming from. With the exact information needed an ablation was performed supported by a blood thinner, the first I have been able to tolerate. He was kind, knowledgeable and honestly I had complete confidence in his professionalism in my behalf. I could not be more grateful!

Very good didn’t have wait very long to see doctor

My experience at the heart institute, during my appointment, was great. Every detail was explained. Every test conducted by care givers who truly knew what they were doing.

Dr. Melman was great! Took the time to explain things about my unique situation above and beyond the first Cardiologist I saw. I have a partnership in my future care with him!

He was very good to explain every thing I needed to know about how my heart beat recorded on the heart monitory I wore for a month. I had no reason to have any procedure done. Because I am on blood thinners he told me how to watch out for any rhythms that went too fast and for how long it lasted, and to be sure and call if I have any questions. I am very happy with him and his caring personality that I will continue to see him as well as refer him to anyone that I feel might need him.

I was referred to Dr. Melman by my Cardiologist for Atrial Fibrillation issue. He was a very nice, caring doctor and explaned things so that my husband and I could understand. He did an cardiac ablation and it has help to bring my heart back into rhythm. The staff are great. I highly recommend Dr. Melman and the IHC Cardiology Department if you have any heart related issues.

I was refereed to Dr. Melman for an electrophysiology problem. He was quick to diagnose and take action to stabilize my heart and in a short time return my heart to normal structure and function. The nurses and staff are excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Melman and the IHC Cardiology Department if you have issues with your ticker.
