Dr. Johnson performed a Colonoscopy. I almost died from this procedure. I began hemorrhaging. and went to an ER. She told the ER physicians that the bleeding would stop. It didn’t. I was rushed by ambulance to another hospital where I had to stay for 4 days. Another physician had to put staples in my body. Dr. Johnson’s office manager sent me a bill for $250 which I refuse to pay. Prior to this procedure I had to pay $250 to have a Colonoscopy at Evanston Hospital. Evanston Hospital cancelled the procedure. The procedure was done at a Northshore Outpatient Center. When I asked for a refund her office manager informed me that the $250 was for all centers. She requested another $250 which I am not paying nor should I as I have Medicare. The cavalier attitude Dr. Johnson showed me was unprofessional and unethical. Her office seems to only care about money. Find someone else. Judy S.

Dr.Johnson always treats my husband and me like old friends. In addition to her obvious professional skills, she has excellent people skills. We would not consider going anywhere else.

Competent and knowledgeable but be aware of difficulty sorting out billing errors.

My visit to Dr Johnson's Office for my colonoscopy couldn't have been easier or more effortless. From start to finish(check in to prep to procedure to recovery) everything went smoothly! Everyone I dealt with was courteous, knowledgeable, professional and kind. I couldn't speak more highly of any of them and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Johnson. From my initial virtual meeting with her through my procedure, she made me feel very comfortable and cared for and assisted me in making informed decisions. I would HIGHLY recommend her and the team at the Glen Endoscopy Center in Glenview.

Dr. Johnson is very caring and professional. She makes her patients comfortable with a colonoscopy which is few people’s favorite procedure but extremely important.

Absolutely outstanding. She takes time out of her busy schedule to speak with you through telemedicine whether your a existing patient or new patient. She’s extremely knowledgeable and able to give you a plan of action. I’m so impressed with Dr. Johnson and very happy that a friend suggested that I consider her as my gastroenterologist.. I would recommend her to everyone.

I had a colonoscopy today with Dr. Johnson at the Glen Endoscopy Center. My experience was top-notch. To the front desk receptionist, to the nurses and, most importantly, to Dr. Johnson, I sing high praise. I was treated with care and kindness. I would recommend this highly professional practice to all who need this common procedure and any other G. I. issues.

I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy with Dr. Johnson. She is excellent - professional, kind, and VERY thorough. I gave her a list of questions and she wrote down all of the answers in addition to telling me so that I would have the information when I got home. I also received a detailed report from her office. It was more specific than reports I'd received from others other the past 20 years! She discovered ulcers, prescribed meds and in a followup last week found they were healed.

Whereas she may be good in the operating room, how she handles the business end is abysmal. Since she only accepts insurance from one carrier, she is out of network for most people. Her office refused to accept multiple offers from our carrier to reduce her rack rate to a more reasonable level. During this time, her office continued to treat us as if we were delinquent and threatened to send our bill to a collection agency - even after receiving payment for a majority of the bill.

Dr. Johnson is simply outstanding! Kind, considerate, great explanations of procedures, both before and after. She is very reassuring. She has performed almost 10 procedures.

Dr. Johnson provided calming reassurance to my family during the test. She answered my questions and gave me copies of my test. Receiving immediate feedback after my test was very helpful and comforting. I thoroughly trust her knowledge and opinion.
